It's so hard to find a TRUSTWORTHY dentist these days...My experiences starting out phenomenal and midway through the procedures...I was not happy with the results. When the final procedure was completed I was completely DISSATISFIED. I try to give the dentist (Dr. Yap) the opportunity to rectify the issues before posting a negative review. Dr yap and her staff are all amazing !! The office was clean and all their equipment looks up to date . Complimentary drinks in the waiting room . I cannot say enough great things about this dentist. This is the first and only dentist I've come to since moving to Houston, and I enjoy everyone in the office from the front staff to, both hygienists I've had (today was Sahar, and she was so professional and informative , she gave me some great tarter reconfigure toothbrush tricks), and Dr. Yap had a great and bubbly energy ! The entire office is beautiful, and I'm a huge fan of the little dental goodie bag I get at check out, while booking my next appointment. I'm a fan of getting complimentary bleach refills each time I visit the office too. Overall- I highly recommend checking it out. They are next door to Starbucks (which I how I found them, I was literally sipping my chai latte oneday, and happened to notice a beautiful dental office) which makes it super easy to find, and hey- when you're done w your appointment, you can go next door and get your coffee, tea, etc :)! read more

What an amazing experience! I've had quite a bit of dental work in my lifetime and this was by far the best experience I've had at dentist office! This was such a pleasant experience. I had to have two root canal's done in one day and this is the first time EVER that I did not feel a thing. No, seriously... I did not even feel when she stuck me with the needle to numb my mouth. Dr. Yap is soooo amazing at her craft. Not to mention, she is very kind and personable. I'm so happy I found this office. Her ENTIRE staff is amazing too! I found Pure Smiles a few years ago on yelp! A lot of dentists out there try to scam you and get the most money they can out of people, but not at Pure Smiles. She will tell you only what you need. I love Dr. Yap. She's really the best, so nice and patient with everyone. I used to get anxious every time I've gone to the dentist (injections, painful cleanings, rough hands digging in my mouth leaving me sore for days) but ever since her clinic has taken care of my dental health, I'm confident and comfortable in their care. I had a gold crown placed by her; she got that sucker on with the 1st try! Not much reshaping needed! The staff (assistants, hygienist, front desk) is super nice, the office is clean and up to date. There are 2 TV's in each room to keep your occupied while they work on you!! I never feel the anesthetic injection with Dr. Yap. She has the magic touch.
