Located in a corner area. Plenty of parking. Upon entering greeted within 5 minutes. It is 1230 pm and I was hungry decided to drink my protein shake. As I was walking noticed trash can and threw the top in the trash can. Walked around then my husband saw employee looking in the trash can to see what I placed. I was walking around looking for bedroom furniture and finished my drink. Their was employee and customer talking in a different language so not to disturb them I took another route to get to other side of the warehouse passing thee same trash can. Since I am their I threw away my empty protein carton. The same employee stopped what she was doing darted right to the trash can and shaking it/moving it around then slamming trash can on the floor. I turned I saw her giving me an evil look then follow me so needless to say I understand I am the wrong race to be here so I left this racist business. I will take my business elsewhere. My experience at a Star furniture was awesome. I'm a senior citizen, I received social security and work part-time to make ends meet. I've been saving for 3 years to buy a new sofa sleeper. On my bus route I passed by A Star furniture and I've always wanted to go inside and see what they have, so I checked out the website and I was delighted to see a sofa sleeper I wanted and in my price range. I called for more information, I spoke with Aza the most thoughtful Sales Angel I've ever met. She blessed me and some very unexpected ways, not only was I able to purchase the New sofa sleeper I wanted and could afford, I received same day delivery and a ride home with my purchase!! and as I waited for the driver to return from a delivery I was served a delicious cup of coffee and a savory chicken sandwich. Nice selection of couches and sectionals here! I found the couch I wanted pretty fast, I got the lombardy sectional. The pictures don't do the couch justice, it's huge with super deep seats! It's one of the most comfortable couch's I've sat on! Getting the couch delivered was very easy and the delivery people were very fast and set my couch up perfectly. They are either color blind or say yes to everything you say to get the sale going We asked numerous times for a specific color furnishing and they assured that the furniture we chose is what we wanted but when the product came in it wasn't. Which makes this post a lot more real. The high from the initial purchase has worn off but the compliments from the piece keep coming. We went in on a Monday in hopes of finding a new couch. I have to admit I didn't think we'd luck out because we had been looking for months. But as soon as we arrived we were greeted by Nona...I think her name was and she was wonderful. We told her what we were looking for..leather sectional in a light color. She showed us a few and 15 to 20 minutes later we were walking out with a receipt and an expected delivery date of 2 days later. Boom! The very next day which was yesterday we got a delivery confirmation call and today our couch arrived. We received a call first saying they were about 25 minutes away and they were probably here in less time than that. When the delivery guys arrived they first dealt with removing our old couch. We set that up through Nona on Monday. Then after they removed our couch they brought in and set up our new couch. It's beyond perfect. It's gorgeous and super comfortable. I can't believe how rood and not professional they work in this store. Recently my parents who are old about to get some sofa's set from their store, their team members collect the money before we got a furniture deliver. First day we place the order furniture and then second they were change our mind, then they kept the most money it was cash as a deposit not refundable $500, other part was credit to our bank I believe if we gave them more cash they will keep more too. And this happened less then 24 hours we placed the order. I can't believe he also told this old people, who are someone who need to take care of them too, he mentioned that they have 4 kids they have to be taking care of it so they have to earn some money whenever they sell something's. All we have to say is WOW! I never really write review but I want to take the time to write a review here since it is well deserved :) Me and my boyfriend have been in search for a sofa. We even bought one from a different company but it couldn't fit through our door so we had to send it back, then we ordered another and they refused to deliver it because they thought it wouldn't fit through the door. Finally, through many searches we found Star Furniture and I spoke with VAHE. We went in to see their show room and right away when we got there we were greeted and asked if we have been helped. Vahe was very patient, attentive, and answered all our questions. We found the same exact sofa we got from the other store but it's much more worth it getting it here due to their great customer service. Vahe even ensured that delivery will not be a problem at all. Quick back story..we had a Jackson Mammoth sectional on order since Nov 2020 with an online company and had been waiting for over a year (something about a shortage of the foam they use)! Finally, we decided to walk into A Star Furniture and see if they had anything that we liked, and that we could get right away, since our couch had been on its last leg for months. We walked in, received the friendliest greeting and were immediately guided around the store. We saw a sectional that we both liked; easy to maintain (unlike our current couch), comfy, nice neutral color, and could be configured in many different ways. We sat down with Abe and discussed how many pieces we'd need. He helped us measure and figure out all the logistics. We went home, remeasured our space and ordered that afternoon. 5 days later, our new sectional was delivered and we are so happy with it! My only regret is that we waited a whole year before stepping into A Star Furniture! Wow, I'm so upset that my L shaped couch I got less than 6 months ago is tearing at the seams. I put blankets over it to protect it and when I went to clean the Blankets today, I saw a huge tear along one of the seams on top of the couch and also a hole on the part where it's a pullout for you to turn into a bed. Mind you, we barely pull it out so seeing a hole there is VERY disappointing. It's a fabric/ bit velvety material. I spent 1000 on this !!!!!!! I would say skip this place and go somewhere else.
