Went out again!!! Asked for an est. he said 200-400 plus labor nothing in writing. Said the furnace is junk too! Contacted company owner Jimmy, asked for exact draft motor cost and some credit from previous repair and he just laughed! Good thing I didn't have them put in draft motor that was not even the problem!!! Had someone else out, they replaced correct part and it works fine! Noise was coming from gas valve not being fully engaged due to poor connections of a relay coming from hot surface igniter which was replaced. Cost $60 and the oiling of the draft motor was done wrong too, they needed to access the oil tubes to fill not the outside of the bearing! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I had a post lamp in my front yard that had stopped working and found F C Electric here on yelp. My first red flag was when I called to schedule a service appointment, I was told they would have to check the schedule and see when they could fit me in, and that this couldn't be done while I waited on hold. I was called a couple days later saying they could fit me in, and could I please send them a picture of the light that wasn't working (without explaining why they needed a picture--I still don't know why they requested a picture). Asking for a picture did not inspire confidence. At the time of service, I received a phone call that they were on their way about 5 minutes before they showed up, which I appreciated the heads up. The truck was clearly marked as F C Electric, but the employees did not wear anything that identified them as such. There were two guys that seemed like they had some kind of joke going between them from the time I answered the door. Their behavior was immature and unprofessional. They diagnosed my problem and made a recommendation which I later implemented myself. They were at my house for less than 5 minutes. About a week after their visit, I received a text asking if my request had been handled, which I confirmed. Today I received an invoice for $127, which I thought was pretty steep for such a quick visit, including unprofessional demeanor. I asked one of the employees before he left how much the charge was, but he didn't know. I acknowledge I should have asked when I scheduled the appointment what their diagnosis fee was. I called Paul, the owner, to chat about the invoice and to share feedback about my experience. When I complained about the price and the unprofessional behavior of his staff, he became somewhat defensive instead of carefully listening to what I had to say. As a customer, it's never good to feel like the employees are valued over customers. I'm pretty sure the way most businesses work is that you have to have happy paying customers to succeed. To be fair, Paul did offer to delete the invoice, but I insisted to pay something and he said I could pay whatever I felt was right. I paid the full amount because it was mostly my fault for not asking how much the service visit would cost. The bottom line is that I will not go to F C Electric again when I have electrical needs and cannot recommend them.

F C Electric did an excellent job from start to finish. Communication was smooth and the end price was more than fair. It was a job we had dreaded and put off for almost a decade and we are so glad to have it done. We are very grateful to Paul and his team.

I was quoted $1700 for them to dig a large hole in the yard to replace the hydrant. I declined that and was charged $200 for them just to show up. Had I known that they would be charging $200 for a FN quote, I would have never had my wife call them ( my bad for not listening to her while I was busy). I wrapped a tarp around the hydrant to drain into a hose and then went on vacation and replaced it myself when I got back for an additional $200. This was last summer. I was weeding around this today and was reminded of the bull crap quote this guy was trying to push.
