Well, we were craving good Italian food, we looked at the reviews and decided to check out A Tabola hoping the air conditioner was fixed. It was not but they were doing everything they could for airflow. We did find out that there was a new system on the way, they were just waiting for it. The one complaint my hubs had was his beer glass was not full, even when asking for the second one to be full. But Then.... the food came and it was the best chicken parmigiana he has ever had and the sauce was really good too. I liked it too and will probably order it next time. I had the spaghetti and meatballs because of a yelp review and it was really good also. Plus we were there during happy hour and the specialty drinks were discounted to $10 the first one she forgot the lemon so realizing this she brought me a new one and only charged us $7. So all this to say we will be back, but will call first to make sure the air is fixed. The ambience was also nice. read more

Service was good. They were out of the Italian nachos, which I had planned to order after looking at their menu on line, ahead of choosing to eat there. Not sure how you run out of nachos at noon on a Sunday, but ok. Taking advantage of their seafood Sunday, we ordered the calamari appetizer and it was pretty good. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. 99% sure the spaghetti was from a box. It was very overcooked, and almost mushy. Meatballs were the driest I've ever had, placed on top of the spaghetti, not covered with sauce. My husband had the seafood linguine. His was very Al dente and tough. The calamari in his was rubbery, unlike the good fried calamari we had. Overall, just not great. Don't care to go back. read more

We decided to try A Tavola for our anniversary in the middle of June. We had looked at other places to go but wanted to give this restaurant a try and we were wanting Italian food. I don't know how long they have been without air conditioning but it still wasn't working. The overall look of the place was just okay; more between an okay Italian restaurant and a diner with paper napkins wrapped with paper with only a fork inside. My husband ordered lasagna; I ordered the chicken piccata and we waited over 45 minutes to get our food even though there were just three other tables with small groups at the early time of 4pm. My husband's lasagna had been microwaved with part of it hot and part of it cold. My actual chicken was fairly okay but the grilled veggies as my side dish were four small spears of asparagus on a side plate and they did not taste good. The service was okay. All in all, it was definitely not worth the price and we won't be going there again unless we hear things have changed. read more

Legit the worst service I've experienced at a restaurant in over two decades!! The service was so horrible I was wondering at times if they were messing up on purpose as a prank. Took them half an hour to get me a beer and finally just went up to the bar to get one. The food was average at best, and they messed up a few of my friend's orders because they somehow thought it was a genius idea to put anchovies on a pesto pizza. Jesus Christ! But the absolute worst part? They added a 20% gratuity. It's an absolute joke thinking this sorry place is on a Miami level that they include gratuity in the bill when I can have better Italian at Fazoli's up the street. Not eating anything is better than experiencing this catastrophe of an establishment! read more

The food was amazing. I am an Italian food snob. Very few Italian restaurants get my approval. A Tavola owner knows what hes doing.. We had a large party and the food came out at a very acceptable rate. 7 different plates all hot and delicious. The young lady waiting our table was exceptional. This was my treat to a relative turning 70 who only wanted spaghetti and meatballs for his birthday. Made his day. read more

We decided to finally try A Tavola. I'm not sure if the AC was out or they just saving money but the restaurant was so hot. I got a glass of wine and it must have been sitting in the heat because it was warm. The servers weren't very friendly and never checked on us after we got the meal. However, I don't hold it against them because it was challenging enough to eat in there because it was so hot. I'm sure working there was tough. I wanted salmon but they were out so I got the pork chops and my wife got the chicken picatta. The food was good and the only reason I gave it a 4. We are not sure if we would go back but may give it another chance. read more

My dad had the spaghetti with meatballs, my mom had chicken picatta, and I had lasagna. The food was excellent. Fresh and favorable. The staff is pretty green and the building is loud, nothing some training and some sound barriers would fix. Overall very good. read more

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The service was terrible, servers spent more time eating and, on their phone, than the time spent at all the tables combined. Our server never came back to check our meal status or offer refills on drinks. Towards the end of our awful experience a table of three walked in and was sat, two of which ordered tea. The server towards the back of the restaurant shouted that she had dumped the tea. Our $25 pasta dishes came out cold like they had been sitting for a while. The side of garlic bread was so hard you could break a tooth if you ate it. The pizza was halfway decent but not like a traditional wood fired pizza. Would not go back even if the meal was free. I would recommend the soup kitchen over this place. read more

Not a good experience. I've been to most levels of Italian restaurants, walk-in take out, family style, fancy and this one just didn't impress. Most Italian restaurants come out with slices of toasted Italian bread buttered and seasoned. I got the end piece with my luke-warm meal that must have been served and waited for the pizza to bake. The Bolognese with wide noodles wasn't flavorful at all but had a vinegar after taste which was odd. My daughter's pizza had no flavor in the sauce. I guess seasoning is off limits. I'll try a few times more and try a few other items, but with those prices, it may be awhile before I go again. I will say the ambiance is nice and pleasant. read more

Great food, great service!! Loved the food! The waitress was very knowledgeable about the food on the menu. Ryan is a culinary genius.

While the service was a bit slow, the quality of both the cocktails and the food was excellent. My only gripe was that, when presented with the bill for our dinner there was a $3 "credit card fee" assessed. As a former restaurateur, I believe that the acceptance of credit cards is a normal cost of doing business. If an establishment is unwilling to bare this cost, then they should just refuse to accept this form of payment. Non bene! read more

We got there at 4pm had two beers noticed that they were serving people who arrived after us. 5pm comes i asked where is our food. They laughed and said we put we just put it in . I said ill pay for my 2 beers and a pop and we are leaving. They said we will pay for them and Never come back. They won't survive like that. Hopefully they will be closed within 6 months read more

The service was awful . Took one hour and ten minutes to get our food . Ordered spaghetti and meatballs and salad . Asked our waitress to please check on our food . Had yo ask her twice to refill our water . The food was good . Will not be coming back ! The bathroom needed attention, only freezing cold water to wash hands and trash over flowing. read more
