    Lasagna made with patties?
    Carman M.

Very disappointed with the meal here. I ordered a steak, which was completely bland and unseasoned. My brother got the lasagna and we were both disappointed. Upon looking at the lasagna, it appears processed as the meat in it is compressed. Sauce had good flavor but my brother had no desire to finish it. Salads were plain and the ranch had a lot of dill flavor to it. The fries I got with my meal were still raw and crunchy and I didn't want to finish my meal. Won't be returning. Too much disappointment for these outrageous prices!!

Its over when the fat lady finishes her manicotti!

The menu seemed varied with a good selection of seafood entrees. Warm bread with dipping sauces was first rate. Dinner salad was fresh and well put together. I had Lasagne, a hefty portion and while good, there wasn't anything distinctive about it. It was prime rib night but I didn't take advantage of that this time. I think they've nailed the location and ambiance but hope they can elevate the entrees from good to WOW. I can see this making them and exciting go to destination. Try it and see what you think. I'll need to try more entrees to make a more objective assessment.

As expected, maneuver around the location and parking were problematic. Because of that, and the cold weather, we came early, arriving about 4:40. While we were willing to wait elsewhere, the proprietors seated us immediately while we waited for our other two parties to arrive. Big props for being accommodating. The food was top notch and the menu ranging from commonplace to exotic. Every dish had an element of gourmet treatment. All the entrees we ordered were excellent. The venue is small. I wouldn't say 'intimate', given that it has large windows facing the street, but it was cozy enough on a cold night. OUr server was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Prices are not cheap, but reasonable for the quality and creativity of the menu. We didn't order wine, but instead Italian beers in a brand I'd not heard of, allowing us to try something other than the usual two brands commonly available.

Service was outstanding, it felt like a choreography with how well our server took care of us. The space itself is part restaurant, part bar, with that odd almost-purple lighting that every spot for locals seems to emit. It's a bit noisy inside as a result, but it is what it is I suppose. The burrata starter was delicious. The burrata itself was so fresh, and the accoutrement were similarly tasty. For mains, the insalata with octopus and shrimp was really good, packed with seafood and balanced with citrus from a light dressing. The ravioli pueblo was interesting. The chile in the sauce was a really nice touch, adding some interesting spice to the dish. The sauce itself was very thick, the heaviness took away from the dish a tiny bit. But all in all, a great sit down meal in Pueblo!

We ordered calamari, 5 piece fried chicken dinner, and 1lb crab leg dinner with an extra pound of crab legs for him. Waitress came back about 10 minutes later and let us know they were out of crab legs. Asked for the menu again and he decided on the beef raviolis. They were out of marinara, so Alfredo sauce would be fine. Never received the calamari. Dinner salads were small, but fresh. They ended up being the best thing we had. The fried chicken was freshly cooked, hot and juicy. Wish it had been a little more seasoned and crispy. French fries were raw in the middle and just limp. Hubby's raviolis were cheese instead of the ordered beef and were hard/chewy/dry. He wished there had been more sauce on them. I asked for ketchup and/or bbq sauce and waitress took my tea glass for a refill when the food was brought. I didn't get anything, nor my tea back. Overhead another waitress at the booth behind us tell the table they were out of marinara, no meat balls, no fillets, no some kind of steak over 12 oz. Though on the menu, no more seafood boils or 5lb burgers. Though 5 desserts were listed on the menu, per our waitress they only had tiramisu- no birthday carrot cake possible. I should have told the waitress about the fries, but after eating 2 pieces of the fried chicken with the ketchup and tea refill never received and everything else, we were just ready to go. Not a great or even good birthday meal. Waitress brought the check and to go box when we flagged her down for them. There was the calamari on the bill. I very nicely brought it to her attention, stating we never got it. She misunderstood and said, oh, that's ok. I clarified that we never received it, nor ketchup or my tea refill and she was good about removing the charge for the calamari and even removed the charge for my iced tea, though not asked to do so. Kinda wish she would have acknowledged that the mark was missed with our dinner, but no apology received. I understand that they're in a new location and still working on things. There are even signs up as you enter that state this. No desire to go back anytime soon. It's a nicely decorated and big space. I hope they get the kinks worked out.

After five unanswered attempts--each letting the phone ring at least 15 times--someone finally picked up around 8:30 PM. When I finally reached the manager, Louis, and explained the situation he was dismissive and silent for long stretches. I explained the issue, and before I could finish saying we wouldn't be returning, he hung up. When I called back to ask for the owner's name, I was hung up on again. Mistakes happen, but the lack of professionalism and care made it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority here and ensures we won't be back.

The restaurant has a cozy, homey feel with sea-themed décor -- things like fishing nets, crab cages, and other nautical touches that make it feel like a neighborhood seafood spot. For our main dish we had the daily fish special, a flaky grilled fish that was lightly seasoned and served with well-cooked vegetables and risoni pasta. The green beans were especially memorable -- perfectly crispy, which reminded me how much I love them prepared that way. The staff was friendly and helpful, even recommending the $8 wine special, which was a great value.
