All Garage doesn't service all garages. In fact they said they were going to "pass" on my garage. I live in a condo and have a small 1 car detached garage that just needed a new ball roller + the spring to be adjusted. My condo maintenance team said they don't do garage repairs. I called & got a text back during my phone call as I was leaving a message. The text said "driving." That didn't make sense because in CO, the law says you can talk on the phone while driving but cannot text. This business prefers to only text. I spent a span of 2 hours answering their questions about my garage. They wanted pictures. I explained that my garage only opens up about a foot off the ground. They said they would pass because they need me to open the garage. The reason I was hiring them, was so they could open the garage. I asked what I should do, they referred me to a different business and told me to find a handyman. Is calling a garage repair shop not the correct thing to do when looking for a garage "handyman"? I ended up lifting the garage as high as I could get it (around 1-2 feet), and I crawled under so i could take the pictures they were asking for. Upon sending them the pictures and showing them that my garage was accessible if you crawled underneath it, they replied by text "did you call Affordable (the company they referred me to) yet? They're on Yelp." After all of this disappointment, I texted them back one last time & told them that the garage was lifted enough to crawl under. So they agreed they'd come & fix my garage. The job was done in about an hour, I got all new non-metal rollers (smoother), & the entire thing costed around $250 (roughly, I cannot recall exact amount anymore). It's been a couple of months & my garage is working beautifully. They reinforced my garage with a brace because the door was dented in. This was much appreciated. They were fast and did fantastic work ...including the clean-up...all at a VERY fair price. Monty and Piper did a great job servicing my troubled garage door in the Dam East neighborhood. Zip: 80014 His initial quote was based on pictures of the door I texted him. Initially, he suspected the spring needed replaced, which he would replace alongside the tune up. But when he saw it, he said the spring was fine and my settings were just off and the rollers were shot. They tuned the garage door and replaced the old metal rollers with nylon rollers, which he had with him, all at a reasonable price. Now the garage door is much quieter and operates reliably. My parents' garage door was acting insane, in spite of checking the infrared beams for debris, etc. Eventually it snapped their spring. My parents are getting up there in age, and couldn't get the door up without my assistance - and it was heavy. Getting it down? My Dad nearly decapitated me. He didn't try to gouge my parents for a new lift mechanism, and even was able to guess the year it was built - when we bet on a guess. Also told us how much longer we can expect out of it (over 10 years old) and what component we'll need to fix when it breaks. Even kindly listened and talked to my Mom as she made irrelevant small talk. The garage was fixed in about 45 minutes, with two new springs to better distribute the weight. He also anchored the railing, so it wouldn't vibrate, and trigger the automatic door lift beam. Now the door works like a charm. I used the All Garage Door Repair for the first time on 01/03/2016 at my Mothers house because a tension spring broke. The person who showed up was friendly, concern about possibly bringing in dirt in the house, very efficient, and did the whole job in about 30 minutes. Next day my tension spring broke (in my house) and I chose to once again use the All Garage Door Repair. This time the repairman showed up found few other issues with the door, promptly fix them and took time to explain why and ensured that the issues are clearly presented and explained. I am really glad that he did as one of the issue would have caused me to potentially lose a lot of money if/when it broke. Called a number of garage door repair companies that came first in a google search, wow I was disappointed. All of them sounded like I was being routed through a call center and then they would send a contractor. None of the places I called would give me an accurate quote over the phone. The quotes were ranges and I had no idea what to expect from a cost basis once the repair man would show up. I called All Garage Door Repair and was delighted to speak to Monte. Monte asked me some basic questions, how tall is your garage door, windows or not, and what was the issue, and what brand was the garage door opener. He gave me a quote over the phone and scheduled a time to come over to perform the work. Monte was extremely knowledgeable and his customer service was amazing. My issue was the tension springs one of them broke. For the same amount of money others had tried to quote me for one spring, Monte changed both springs, did a complete maintenance for the entire garage door and gave me 1.5 year warranty on his work. Also after learning I had cats he left some cat treats for them! WOW no one has this level of customer service anymore. He was amazing. My garage door sounds better now than when I moved in. They had an opening for us on Monday and they even texted us to let us know they could come early. We hired All Garage Door Repair on the 1/13/2015 to install Belt Drive Garage Opener for a # garage single family house. The team showed up with courteous time manner, which was about 15 minutes before appointment time. Consulted the affordable way to go with the installation and repairs needed.
