Chris is an amazing driving instructor, I felt really comfortable driving with him and gave me additional tips on what to do during difficult situations in the streets. I did 10 hours of driving, 2 hour sessions a day and passed my drivers test. He's a really nice guy and will talk to you about anything of interest and make sure you will pass. I would highly recommend anybody to please hit up this driving school to get some practice and to pass your test. The driving instructor named Warren took my Minor Daughter to pick up another Minor Student and on the way back home the minor student was behind the wheel while my minor Daughter was a passenger. I never authorized warren to take my minor daughter to pick up another student. His response was it was not his problem if my minor child did not ask for permission. Warren is an adult and he should know that he has to call the parent for approval and not just drag my minor daughter. When i confronted him about it he got all defensive and saying it's not his problem! My daughter was picked up at 10am and didn't got back home till 1:10, 1 hour past the time that my minor daughter was supposed to be dropped off and he was even making racial comments and saying thats how BMW owners are like what does it has to do with it???see video of him. I wasted so much money with this driving school my instructor was Chris he's the son of the owner. He's a cool, nice guy or whatever but he obviously had a little crush on me. He ended up giving me a free lesson, which was cool. I had no problem with him until I realize that he wasn't really teaching me. I went to take my exam and I failed after having eight hours of lessons with them... I took a little break found a new driving school, new instructor. My new instructor told me that my ex instructor Chris taught me all wrong and we spent all day correcting what he taught me wrong. Genuinely your driving instructor Chris was unprofessional with me, and thinks he can get away with it just because he's the owner son... He let his little crush on me overlook his judgment. He wanted to be more than my teacher, said he wanted to take me out, his feelings outweighed his professionalism & that made him not a good teacher. I wish I can get a refund because he didn't teach me a thing other than to drive in a straight line then just talked the whole time & it wasn't even about driving. The whole he was trying to get to know me better & sharing me so much personal information about himself while I'm trying to focus on the road & remain cordial. I also have a complaint about their front desk people but that's a whole different situation. Anytime I called the front desk. It's just freaking rude, especially the lady. I told the lady that I needed to cancel one lesson. It was mostly because my teacher Chris wasn't teaching me and I didn't have the money and she literally cackled in my face over the phone and told me to keep my confidence up since I don't think I need another lesson. Warren was great for my son. He was so nice and my son felt safe with him. I loooove how Warren both picked up AND dropped off my son at home. That was so convenient. We purchased the $350 bundle which included the online course and (3) 2-hour behind the wheel sessions. Summer break is the perfect time to do this. Before coming to A to Z I had terrible driving anxiety. My friend recommended this driving school to me so I booked a lesson with Warren and his full send method of instruction was exactly what I needed. They are very welcoming and accommodating, and the woman who answers the phone to book appointments has phenomenal customer service. I was really nervous at first but he was very patient and relaxed and that helped me a lot. I learned more in one two hour lesson(where we went on the freeway) from A to Z than I did in months trying to learn in a parking lot. We used this school for our older son in 2021 and he was paired with Warren. We loved him so much, I signed up my youngest with Warren when it was his turn. Warren is very easy going and makes the kids feel at ease. His course is challenging but I think it brings out the best in your kid and gets them ready for the real world of driving. I had two different lessons, the first was with Warren and even if he did an okay job explaining everything, there were multiple racial and inappropriate comments he made that made me feel very uncomfortable during the lesson. He was also on his phone watching baseball for around 30 minutes of the lesson. Please do not have Warren as an instructor if you can help it. read more

Alright.... This has been a LOOOOOOONG waiting review so buckle up (no pun intended) and listen to THIS! Okay so I've been putting off driving since I was 17 years old... my mom didn't really wanna go through it with me or my sister so we struggled for years and just had anxiety so we were not going to do it at all. Until this year we realized enough is enough let's get this shit over with! So I was looking into schools and this was one of the first ones that popped up so o decided to give it a chance. . Little did I know I was in for quiet the treat! So I was paired with Chris... nice guy easy to talk to ... but the talking about random things while driving was pretty distracting and kind of annoying because when I made mistakes he wasn't calm about it he would low key scream or jump and to me that's a bad way to teach someoneo ANYTHING because it only makes them have more anxiety and doubt themselves... I appreciate the ride around the testing areas that was definitely super helpful... he was late EVERY LESSON...... that was a big turn off for me... since I had to use their car for the day of my test ... yeah you guessed it he was late... I don't appreciate the late arrivals because that goes into my practice time and I feel cut short and it's not fair to me because I always made sure I was ready and on time... he slipped up and said "I almost didn't wake up for this appointment" okay and your proud of that ‍ ... just over all the professionalism and expertise we're low on the grading scale for me... I'm new to this so I'm not going to be perfect and I know he kept saying that but if he knew why are you expecting me to make a perfect right hand turn or... know how to park perfectly like his jolting and being on his phone really had me like I'm over this.... So if I'm going to be honest I do not recommend this place I would look elsewhere because if he's your instructor he might give you more anxiety then you want or even asked for.... And one last thing.... When the guy over the phone gave me the appointment he mentioned that he would be in a blue car.... He arrived in a red car and although it's not that big of a deal I would appreciate better organization and everyone being on the same page because he told me oh no it's in the shop like how doesn't EVERYONE AT THE PLACE KNOW THAT! I'm over here waiting for a blue car but when the red one showed up I thought they switched my instructor... very unprofessional... anyways I passed but to me barely because there wasn't really any teaching involved just expecting me to know stuff and yelling at me and making me feel worse... Chris was honestly the best and friendliest instructor I could've had during my first time behind the wheel. The best way I can describe it was like he was a coach as he actively gave me feedback and it just motivated me to improve and make him proud. Now that my brother is on his way to driving, I thought it would be great to look back on my experience here from three years ago. My instructor, Edward Little, did a good job of developing my muscle memory, and to this day, I still do the same things he taught me a back then. I felt like he knew how to throw me in the deep end and let me learn for myself while also teaching me if he knew I didn't know what I was doing. My favorite memory is when I first got the opportunity to drive on the freeway, and I remember how exhilarating it was. I passed my BTW test!! My FIRST training was with Chris, 2 hours Charge: $90 YAYs He's friendly and helpful. Lessons on reverse, lane changes, mirrors & over the shoulder checks were spot on, thanks. NAYs That limit line advise didn't work, I got 5 points off at different times during my actual test. Lol. He belched and yawned a lot (he apologized), I get it's a human thing but got me worried maybe he was tired or hungry (said he was neither). 2. My SECOND training with Warren, about an hour on the actual test day. We drove to and from DMV, Fullerton Charge: Initially $120, I get there later, it's $122: $2 fee for what exactly? YAYs Gave me the rundown; pre-test checks, lane change aka SMOG check, mirror settings. He ensured I de-stressed, i.e. think of an immediate reward to look forward to after I pass (I had none, lol). He was funny sometimes. NAYs Warren had some weird jokes and I guess he meant no harm but maybe too much for a first meeting. He can be chatty so watch your time if you have other appointments or he'll make you late! read more

I do recommend this place but if you get Chris as your instructor. I recommend you to change. He has no patience and expects you to know how to drive when it's his job to teach you. He kept yelling at me and grabbing the wheel super aggressively. He made me feel scared to drive and i would avoid lesson's because I did not want to get in the car with him because of how scared he made me feel. This is suppose to be an exciting thing but instead he made me not even want to get my license. He would always talk to me in a passive aggressive way till the point that I would feel stupid. They are GREAT! Signed up my teenage driver for the 6 hrs required behind-the-wheel lessons. Owner Chris was easy to talk to and the instructor was his son, also named Chris. My daughter had a great time and Instructor Chris was very helpful with suggestions and feedback. They were on time, and even took my daughter on the freeway, during rush hour :-). The day before her behind-the-wheel test, we had Instructor Chris come back for a 2hr refresher session, and went over some possible routes that she may take (we had the test at Fullerton DMV). I highly recommend this driving school! My instructor was Warren and he truly made learning how to drive an educational and enjoyable experience! Despite the fact I only had 3, 2-hour long lessons with him, I feel as if my driving has come so far. I definitely felt my improvement and confidence by the third lesson as compared to how scared I was during the first lesson. Overall A to Z has been a huge help to me and my family. My instructor Eddie was great, he made sure I was prepared for the dmv test and makes great jokes as you drive. Anytime I needed something work on we would go to a neighborhood and practice til I got it. He will always let you know if you got something wrong and tell you how to fix it or what you need to work on. We also got to drive around a lot of nice places which was fun. read more

Horrible, HORRIBLE SERVICE! Not only did I have a lot of anxiety before learning how to drive, but my instructor CHRISTOPH MOORE aka CHRIS did not make me feel any better about driving. First he asked me if I ever drove before, (I tried once but got scared) and I told him kind of. He was giving me like "oh gosh she's never driven before" vibes and wasn't really nice about it. This man was supposed to teach me how to DRIVE, THAT WAS THE WHOLE POINT OF ME PAYING. Not only that, but he kept distracting me from driving, like talking about the most random things. In my opinion, it was so off topic from driving that he wasn't really trying to educate me for the purpose of driving school. This man will try to make you seem like he gets that you are nervous at first, but he doesn't. And guess what?!?!? He is the son of the people who run the company A TO Z Driving, which means you can tell he only does it for the money and doesn't really help his student at all. Chris expected so much from me, that he got disappointed and yelled at me that I wasn't doing it right EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. So unprofessional, he tried to make me feel so stupid, and shouldn't be employed to do a job to teach people if he gets annoyed real easily. If I were to rate my driving prior to starting with AZ. I would give myself a 6 out of 10. I did have experience in driving but not enough to be confident I'd passed​ my driver's​ test without​ lessons prior. I knew I needed the training. In comparing​ the surrounding area. AZ costs are a bit higher​ but considering that I booked 6 hours of training. (2 hours each day). I didn't have to use my own car. I was picked up from my home for ​each lesson. I was taken through residential neighborhoods​, regular streets, homes on the hills ​neighborhoods, extensive up and downhill​ drives and on the freeway. On the day of my DMV test. I was picked up an hour before it. I was waited on. I was lucky I had a pleasant DMV instructor​, and I passed. :) Every​ dollar I paid was worth it. One of the best investments I ever made. I was speaking with Cindy from their office some months prior just before I passed my written test. Cindy is very kind with great communication. She was able to help me schedule my lessons back to back and closest to my behind​ the wheel test. Seeing how organized and flexible she was. I didn't consider looking elsewhere for driver​ lessons. I had Chris Jr. ​from AZ as my driving instructor. My first 5 minutes​ after meeting him and sitting in​ the car. I knew I would be comfortable with him. Chris is patient​ and his energy is calm. He's knowledge​ in his business and entertaining to talk to. He made driving simple. I was pleased with the size of the car we used. I was able to maneuver it perfectly. Chris shared with me his story behind​ his family's​ business. It's very touching and I've always support small businesses. Anyone who lives in northern OC should definitely consider AZ. My experience was beyond my expectations. Parents and family can teach you how to drive but it doesn't beat the professionals. They're able to give you their focus and patience.
