Before I called Pacific Coast Driving Academy I had tried getting in touch with other driving schools in my area and let me tell you that was an adventure. Outstanding instructor! George is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, easy going, and a terrific instructor. He has an impressive resume in driver education and training. My son connected with him in the first meeting and always looked forward to his lessons. George did a great job of going above and beyond what the road test required, which resulted in a very confident student driver. George was recommended to us by a friend, and we in turn have been recommending George to others. It's not always easy to find someone who loves what they do and cares about their student. George was very helpful and knowledgeable, he taught me many good points in just one hour and without him I would've failed the test right away. He knows the routes and the small details you have to do in order to pass. Even for me as an experienced driver (just moved to US) it was worth every penny paying for the instructor. He was very punctual and his car was very nice and clean. It drove very good. He made a huge favour for me and booked me on a day which he had special occasion in order for me to be able not to loose my appointment for behind the wheel test. I took one lesson with George back in February and in that single two hour lesson he was able to assess the exact areas that I needed to work on and give me a how to plan to correct those areas. He was honest, kind and a lot of fun to learn from. If you are learning to drive, I highly recommend that you do it systematically. I got my license just yesterday, almost two months after I saw George. George has a plan to give 24 lessons for around 900.00. I would have done that plan had I the time. George has a sympathetic tone and systematic learning approach. George stresses safety, and making good decisions while you drive, not just skills. I highly recommend him as a teacher. read more

A very great driving school to attend. Never thought that I would have been able to get my driver license due to me having a fear of driving but thanks to my instructor, George, I was able to get away from that fear. His encouragement helped me push on and learn how to drive safer as well as get comfortable of sitting in a car and actually driving. What can I say about George and Pacific Coast Driving?!? An absolute professional in every way, but George is also fun, engaging and really cares about his Students! I'm an International Driver and needed some tuition in California before taking my test. After a few lessons with George I was more then prepared and passed with only a couple of minor faults. I called Pacific Coast Driving Academy as soon as I passed the permit test so I could get my hours of driving needed. George took me on all 3 sessions and was a great instructor. He pointed out all my errors and explained the correct way clearly. He is very friendly and helpful when making appointments. I passed the behind the wheel test on my first try at the infamous Santa Monica DMV with only 5 errors using George's practice vehicle, which the examiner enjoyed.
