From my experience in the Flatiron showroom to the delivery of the tile to the customer service afterwards was nothing short of HORRENDOUS. Made an appointment, started 20 min late. Salesperson (Laila P) was late, was so frazzled and disconnected she provided zero guidance when looking at tile. I think I knew more about the product than she did. Follow up emails to her about tile questions were 100% incorrect ("our tiles are ceramic, non-porous tiles. They are NOT natural stone."). That is UNTRUE!!! Delivery was a joke. Per contract, delivery was with a pallet jack. They arrived with an enormous forklift that could not get down my street (or any NYC street). See image. Dropped it 150 ft from my home. Had to carry 1,350 pounds of tile 150 ft into my apartment. Customer service after that was short and rude (Sedina O). Contested delivery fee with credit card and won. Finally tried to return tiles and they refused because I reached out to them 46 days after delivery (policy is 45 days). Really??!! Go somewhere else where you can buy the same tile for less money. They charge extra so they can pay for their MASSIVE showrooms all over the world. The sales people there are useless. Good luck getting any support from corporate. They are non existent. read more

Gerry and the staff at this location were really quite wonderful and I give them five stars but the delivery was so incredibly awful I am taking off two stars. The delivery was the complete opposite of everything else we experienced with Porcelanosa. Screw the delivery garbage for a second and let's talk about this Porcelanosa location. I had a neighbor growing up that worked in this building when a Christmas decoration company was here. I love the building. This showroom is multilevel (there is an elevator) and has a wonderful selection of tile at reasonable prices considering the quality they're known for. I'd love to tell you what I'd like to happen to the delivery service people but it would probably violate the Yelp TOS. read more

High Prices, Negative Service My wife loves the design and we needed a custom vanity so we willing to paid 7X what a bathroom vanity costs. You won't believe the service! 1. The product came and it has different dimensions than what was advertised. My contractors had to push my wall back costing me thousands more in labor. 2. The stone counter was cracked. 3. The p-drain is too small to fit the drain. Even at the discount furniture stores, the expectation is the store would either deliver a replacement or refund right away. First, Porcelanosa said they weren't confident they can deliver a replacement without damage. Why sell an expensive product when you cannot be sure to deliver the product undamaged? Second, they said the faucets, which matched the broken sink, can be used for other vanities so cannot be refunded. Then Procelanosa said they think they can deliver the product undamaged. However, they would only deliver the replacement and if it is damaged again, no refund. Too much risk with that much money so we opted for the refund. You cannot mess up a refund right? They charged my credit card and then refund just the vanity. All the items above took weeks of followups and calls. It took up time that I will never get back. Your first experience with a brand impacts you. My first experience with Porcelanosa was terrible. I would never buy from them again and I don't know who would. read more

While I received excellent support from Fernando for the initial part of my order for a bathroom renovation, I ran into an issue where the contractors were slight under on one set of tiles. I followed up with Porcelanosa on Monday and they located tiles in Florida that could be shipped here, but the agent was completely dismissive on the urgency to send them to New York. The order was placed on Monday, payment was processed on Tuesday, and I have yet to receive tracking info on shipment (it's Friday). Kelly was completely blasé about my request for expedited shipment and just told me to expect tracking number next week. Meanwhile, my whole project is in standstill when faster shipment should have been brokered with me. Its unfortunate because I was ready to praise Porcelanosa to my friends until I had this awful customer service. They have great materials, but in the end they didn't prioritize service. In addition, when my initial delivery arrived, the delivery guy just left the full pallet outside my apartment building and expected me to unpack everything and truck it all into my apartment. read more

I purchased a vanity here, a nice looking piece, in 2017. My construction project was then delayed for a long time, and we eventually learned that the vanity was too big for the bathroom space. We tried to return said vanity but with a year gone by, they wouldn't give a refund for it. Fair enough. We then dropped the vanity off at their warehouse in NJ and asked for store credit. This course of action was suggested by our architect who has worked with them before. Our renovation project required a lot of stone and tile, around 25,000 worth and we thought we could buy it from Porcelanosa and use a store credit. Porcelanosa came back and said we could not get any store credit because the cardboard box was dirty and that two holes were drilled in the side of the vanity. No way can the part about the holes be true unless the piece came like that because we never took it out of the box. The real insult was yet to come. They said we had to come by and pick up the piece within the week or they'd throw it out because they couldn't have it lying around. I live in the city and it is hard to get to NJ so I could not make their arbitrary and unfair deadline. They are open on Saturdays from 9-2 and I could not get there in time. During the week I work. So they threw away our vanity that cost $1200. Shame on this company for treating customers this way. I took my tile business elsewhere; I will report this incident to the Better Business Bureau and make sure the buying public is aware by commenting on other review sites. Do yourself a favor and stay away from PorcelanoPlease note I am not one to complain about things without reason or regularly trash businesses. Just look at my other 75 Yelp reviews for validation of a fair and balanced demeanor. Update: not sure if the Yelp universe can see the reply from Porcelnosa. I realize covid has made retail challenging so I was fine calling to schedule an appt. The attitude I received on the phone was ridiculous. The woman I spoke with was not helpful, gave attitude like "why the F are you calling" and only answered direct questions without helping me in ANY way. Only to tell me (after I asked) it would be 2 days to schedule an appt. I'm fine with the 2 days. But no f'ing way after that crappy attitude. Very bad experience. I ordered a Krion shower base a year ago. Then it just cracked recently and the water damaged the lower floor. When i emailed Yvonne, the customer service, about the situation the response was that "The cracked area of the shower tray could be caused by incorrect installation of the tray". They said that without even looking. They basically refused to do anything, especially when the Krion website says it is a lifetime warranty for the product. Wow what a nightmare operation. They have finally driven me to give a bad review. I purchased my kitchen in November of 2017, received the order in June of 2018. They butchered the job. The designer has since been fired because I was not the only one she screwed up (heard this from an employee). It's now Feb 2019 and they still have not completed the job. The remediation guy has been very nice but not able to succeed in their hell hole operation. I hope a representative sees this and reaches out to me. I could write a very long detailed review on the 10 different mistakes that have been made one after the next but I'd be giving too much of my time to these hacks. I'm an Architect & Interior Designer in NYC and Porcelanosa has been one of my top go-to's for tile on client's projects for years. Especially because I have a personal rep there who goes above and beyond to help ensure me, my clients, their projects, and the GC installing them are all incredibly well-served. Saw a couple other less than positive reviews out so wanted to help others avoid some of the frustration out there as their Flatiron location can be an INCREDIBLE experience but YES I do recommend making an appointment so a) you have someone designated to show you around b) you start working with the same rep every time you go in so they understand you, your goals for the project, and can help best serve you throughout the entire process. If you need a great rep to make an appointment with, just ask for Katerina. She's my personal Porcelanosa rep and incredible! Especially love that they always have tons of samples on hand to take with you right away, too (just ask the rep for them as they are currently all on the lowest floor in what's typically a locked room). You can also order samples right online for most items then go into the showroom to see larger pieces and installs of them once you know exactly which ones you want to look at further. Assure you it CAN be a great experience to work with them from start to finish of a project. Good luck returning any unused boxes of tile. The restocking charge is 20% and - on top of that - a $130 charge for delivery back to their warehouse. Effectively, it means you end up paying Porcelanosa even more than the product for the privilege of returning it. This is despicably greedy. You buy a box of tile by mistake, you can forget about ever returning it on any reasonable terms. There are other problems aside from the outrageous returns policy. Porcelanosa will tell you a delivery will be made at a certain point in time and you will find out that, for one reason or another, that delivery date was not feasible. Working on getting a renovation project done on itme...? Good luck with that too. Keep clear of this company. There are plenty of other tile producers. These guys are thieves and liars. read more

By far the poorest customer service i ever experienced. Everything goes well, until payment. Once you paid, and you are hooked, you will end up waiting... and waiting... and waiting. The 6 weeks lead time is part of the game. But once you have to deal with the warehouse, this is where your nightmare start. My order was supposed to be delivered home. After being delayed multiple time, I ended up to book an appointment to the warehouse, through my sales representative, to pick up my stuff myself. Once there, I got notified that my order was not ready yet. I had to wait another week... even tho everything was already in the warehouse for weeks. The best part is the attitude they will give you there, even tho it's their fault... I've been stupid enough to re-order one missing tile through Porcelanosa. My luck: they had it in stock. My bad karma: i had to deal with the warehouse again. A week later, tile being already paid, i'm still waiting for a date. It was supposed to be last Friday, then became Tuesday, then today?... got a call from the sales representative that he needs to call them back to see when the warehouse can get a SINGLE TILE ready fro pickup. If I knew, i would have a paid a premium and go to the competition. It is absolutely impossible to plan your project when you deal with such a poor transparency. And I went on three separate floors where the sales associates were at their desks doing nothing and attending to nobody. It was truly an odd experience and felt cold and unwelcoming. Too bad because I love Porcelanosa and remodeled my current home with all Porcelanosa for my bathrooms. I recently bought a new home with 4 bathrooms in dire need of gut renovations. Then, we started having problems with Porcelanosa not getting back to us, after chasing them for 3 1/2 years, and filing a complaint with BBB, we still do not have resolution. Absolutely the single worst customer experience I have ever encountered. A defective sink was delivered with no hole for faucet and that was the good part! No one answers their phones for days. They suddenly changed a delivery date by a full month on shower doors completely stopping a contracted project and refused to refund the money. Several parts in the order were back ordered that were conveyed to be in stock and heres the best part... in a common apartment complex they tried to leave giant pallets with products in a driveway blocking cars of other tenets and just drive away instead of putting the boxes in the empty open closet in the car port! Our experience at Porcelanosa was outstanding! Our primary point of contact, Mathysse, assisted my wife and I throughout all aspects of research, planning, design, and delivery of the items we ordered (bathroom wall/floor tiles, vanity, medicine cabinet, kitchen tiles, and wood flooring for the entire apartment). Mathysse was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions, providing plenty of options for us to choose from, and assisting us with color-matching and pattern matching as needed. This is a level of care that definitely stands out and is one of our reasons for choosing Porcelanosa. Our renovation has had numerous delays (at the time of this writing, the project has spanned about 7 months for a studio apartment and is still in progress) and Mathysse has been extremely patient in continuing to provide us with prompt answers to various questions that have come up throughout the installation process. For example, in one situation, our contractor had questions about which tiles should be placed in which room; Mathysse was able to help us with a prompt response so that the project would not be delayed for even a moment. In another situation, the contractor raised a question about whether or not the vanity could be recessed, and she provided us with a prompt response about that as well. I wish there was a way to give them, more specifically Paramus NJ a ZERO. They oversold me on a huge amount of tile - 400 square feet at $11 per square. Their sales person suggested how much I buy based on my blue prints. And now they refuse to take it back! Their argument - it had been more than 45 days. However nowhere on their receipt any time constraints are identified. This tile is still sold by them - not sure what the problem is. read more

The flagship store on fifth avenue is great - you can see there everything you need for kitchen and bathroom - Porcelanosa is a one-stop-shop. Emille Hofmann was my design consultant at Porcelanosa and she has been fantastic throughout the entire process. She gave me great guidance in which products to choose - and took care of me through the entire process. She was the primary contact for whatever question I had and coordinated all of my requests. I happen to work a block away from Porcelanosa's new, big, beautiful multi story showroom. A year and a half ago I bought a new apartment and was never happy with my bathroom vanity. I was so glad I went into Porcelanosa as within 15 minutes I found the perfect 3 drawer vanity and matching sink. It helped that there was the once a year sale going on. The two people who helped me were fantastic, and although I had to wait about a month for the unit to arrive on the next boat, it was worth the wait. It fit perfectly and makes me so happy whenever I walk into my bathroom and use the sink and vanity. And I have gotten so many compliments on it. The only negative was that there is a $130 delivery charge, regardless of how big or small what you are getting delivered is, in my case two relatively small boxes, and it is only delivered to the street. Fortunately, my girlfriend has a car and we drove about 35 minutes to Ramsey, NJ to pick up the vanity and sink at Porcelanosa's warehouse. There the very helpful staff helped put it in our car and we drove home very quickly. We took everything upstairs and then my contractor came to install everything. I'm from Spain. I grew up washing my hands in a sink from Porcelanosa. But don't think I'm not objective... My husband and I are renovating our new apartment and I was very excited to see the new store open on Fifth Avenue. Their showrooms are absolutely amazing, have incredible natural light and you can really appreciate the colors and also the quality of their products. They carry wall and floor tiles, other types of floorings and everything you need in a bathroom. You can choose from different styles but in general everything is rather modern, lean, "very European" as we like to say here. I was worried about the price, but Emille Hoffmann quickly dispelled my worries. She started working with us, showing us, advising us, researching for us and thanks to her we got an amazing quote together. We couldn't be happier. I wasn't aware that Porcelanosa also did kitchens. We started to work with Jen Nieves and thanks to her help we decided to buy our kitchen there as well. If you are looking for ideas for your home, pay them a visit, it's worth it. read more
