They sold me a new tire, and after the cost of the tire and installation, it was about $275. I advised the service person who assisted me that I was turning this leased car in, in approximately 5 months. He continued to tell me that all my other tires were "terrible" and that I should get every tire replaced because it's likely that the leasing company will require it or "ding" me if I turn the car in with bad tires. Mind you, there is only 33,000 miles on this car, and of the 10 vehicles I have leased in the past 20 years, not once have I ever been dinged for tires or required to replace the tires. Throughout his consult with me, the service attendant kept trying to get to me get all new tires...I mean, come on guy, read the room! I don't want or need all new tires for a car I am going to turn in soon! He told me that they would get the tire on and have me out in 30 minutes, and that they would put the spare tire back in it's holding cavity underneath my hatchback floor and I could be on my way. They did indeed get me on my way in about 37 minutes. About a mile from leaving the establishment, my tire pressure monitor tells me that the new tire has 26 lbs of pressure in it. However, the other three tires on my car are set at 35 lbs of pressure. Huh? Why didn't they fill it to 35 lbs to match the other tires? That evening, I stopped at Kroger to purchase groceries, and when I lifted my hatchback to load them into the back, there it was: the spare tire and all of its parts and screws, not put back away as I was assured it would be. Frustrating! Come on people, deliver what you say you would deliver! Good points about this establishment is very courteous customer service and speedy service. Bad points are described above. My car drives noticeably rougher and I need to investigate if I should fill my "new tire" with 35 lbs of pressure to match the other tires.

Installing lifts and all of the other modifications are challenging and the parts cost quite a bit. Diversified Truck-Auto & Off-Road IS the best balance. As a business, I look at the years they have been providing quality work, and we need them to survive and thrive as they provide a livelihood for their staff, and they help to build our community; so when they are looking at the balance of work, they are doing their best on pricing, timing, and complete satisfaction (I can see that in the future plans we are discussing for Retrax Eq and a Bed-Slide, among other work). Today I took my 26" rim in to have a new tire mounted to only leave once again completely disgusted, feeling violated, and angry as hell after the unprofessional comments of their so called sales manager frank. They had a 65yr old man changing the tire who put the rim on the machine face down and was moving it around and turning the table and completely destroyed the face of my rim. The older gentleman told frank how it happened and franks response to me was " I DONT KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU" , this coming after I even went in and questioned him about trying to mount the rim face down on the machine and he assured me " THEY DO IT ALL THE TIME, ITS FINE! HE OWNED HIS OWN TIRE SHOP IN FLORIDA FOR YEARS, HE KNOWS WHAT HES DOING!" Clearly my concerns were validated as they did in fact destroy my rim by doing exactly what I questioned frank about and tried to get him to prevent from happening. After confronting frank with the damage to the rim and him telling me I don't know what to tell you and we've never had this happen before he then continued to push me off by saying hed call management and get back to me later, of course as of now i havent heard from him. Next step is calling Detroit to talk to owners myself and if no progress is made there I'll be obligated to file civil litigation in court due to their negligence. To save argument I agree to pay dealer cost, at $111 and he ordered me a new tire for the following Saturday, today. Show up and this guy sold my tire to another customer and informs me after I drove a hour to get the tire, then proceeds to try and put a used tire on brand new rims and tires I just bought.
