My rear tire on my 2022 Nissan went flat due to a nail. I put on the spare and took my rim/tire to this establishment. They sold me a new tire, and after the cost of the tire and installation, it was about $275. I advised the service person who assisted me that I was turning this leased car in, in approximately 5 months. He continued to tell me that all my other tires were "terrible" and that I should get every tire replaced because it's likely that the leasing company will require it or "ding" me if I turn the car in with bad tires. Mind you, there is only 33,000 miles on this car, and of the 10 vehicles I have leased in the past 20 years, not once have I ever been dinged for tires or required to replace the tires. Throughout his consult with me, the service attendant kept trying to get to me get all new tires...I mean, come on guy, read the room! I don't want or need all new tires for a car I am going to turn in soon! He told me that they would get the tire on and have me out in 30 minutes, and that they would put the spare tire back in it's holding cavity underneath my hatchback floor and I could be on my way. They did indeed get me on my way in about 37 minutes. About a mile from leaving the establishment, my tire pressure monitor tells me that the new tire has 26 lbs of pressure in it. However, the other three tires on my car are set at 35 lbs of pressure. Huh? Why didn't they fill it to 35 lbs to match the other tires? That evening, I stopped at Kroger to purchase groceries, and when I lifted my hatchback to load them into the back, there it was: the spare tire and all of its parts and screws, not put back away as I was assured it would be. Frustrating! Come on people, deliver what you say you would deliver! Good points about this establishment is very courteous customer service and speedy service. Bad points are described above. My car drives noticeably rougher and I need to investigate if I should fill my "new tire" with 35 lbs of pressure to match the other tires. read more

I have been back there with 3 different flat tires over the years, and they have never once fix a flat. Always have an excuse why they can't fix it. They always say, you need a new tire, so I plugged the last one 2 years ago and it's still holding air with no problem. read more

I needed to put air in my tires now that the cold weather messes with your psi's in your tires. I was expecting to ask and put air in the tires by myself. Instead, these guys held an assembly line accepting 2 cars at a time to fill tires with air. That was the best thing I've experienced offered from a Auto Shop. I felt great after that. I ordered a set of tires from TireRack.com and had them shipped to Discount Tires for installation. I made an appointment for first thing in the morning. Derek greeted me when I arrived and answered all my questions. He was very friendly and helpful. He said I would have the car back within an hour. 45 minutes later the car was ready to go. The tires were balanced perfectly and the lug nuts were torqued to manufacturer specs. Afterwards, I recommended my grandson take his car to Discount Tires to get his tires rebalanced. The other big name tire store in town had done a terrible job balancing them and they vibrated like crazy. He took my advice and went to Discount Tires and came back smiling. I came here to get a tire patched. I pulled in at 1:15 and was told that the wait would be an hour and a half and I have to stay in my car and wait there. So I waited..... and waited..... they didn't even start on my car until two and a half hours later. No one came to check on me to give me an update. I'm literally here right now while they work on my tire. Really slow service. It seems like this location is severely understaffed. I asked the guy when I first got there if I could leave and come back in an hour or if they just call me I will come right back. He told me that I had to stay there to hold my place. I could have gotten all of my errands done and come back with time to spare. At 4:00, I am still here! The only reason why I gave this Discount Tire two stars instead of one is because their tire patching service is free. But even customer service to acknowledge the wait/give me an update was lacking. I've been to this shop for years and they have new staff clearly. Went in because there was a nail in my tire and my wheels are under warranty. In their phone recording they said "If you ain't happy with the tires you bought from us, bring them back so we can fix the issue." So, I felt ok bringing back 4 snow tires I had bought previously for the wife's car. She dreaded driving her car at expressway speeds as the tires whined so bad. That is typical of all snow tires. I took the car back. They put on 4 regular tires, a bit more expensive, but both times I feel I got a very good price and they did it without question. The wife loves her car again and I dont hear any more whining from her or the tires! (joking) I would have gave them 5 stars but I had to take the car back (same day) a couple times to fix a wheel noise issue which they kept trying to find and finally did! I was pleased all around with them sticking with the issue and fixing it. Everyone was kind and polite in making this situation work for both of us! I will go back again. read more

I would be very cautious of what they tell you. I honestly think I was lied to by one of the employees. They told me that the only had 1 of the tire sizes I needed for my car. So instead, they offered to have me get a different size but in order to do that, I had to get all 4. After I accepted the offer the employed said "that was easy". Which made me suspicious. Going to order and have installed a set of Michelin tires today. Saw ad for $70 discount as well as $50 rebate if Discount Tire credit card used - great! While applying for card noticed the high APR (29.99% - is that even legal???), but know we've never had any credit issues in past 45 years. Until today, when the vendor Discount Tire rack uses "referred" our credit card application, making us jump through various hoops which came off sketchy as all get out. Why would a seemingly decent company like Discount Tire use a credit card company like that???? Yeah, it was only $50 off an $800 purchase, but I'd expect to be shown a bit more respect by a company that was interest in my business. read more

I visited Discount Tire for a tire rotation on 1/6/21 at 9:30 am . I arrived on time and was greeted quickly by staff. I was inform it would be 45 minutes before I got in at or around 10:15 I drove in the bay. Touchless service was preformed as scheduled. I had no idea they rebalance each tire as it was removed. The TPMS were reset and off I go. I THOUGHT THE Service was 5 star and interactions priceless. Once my Wife needs tires I would return again. read more

I bought tires about a year ago from discount tire and had a less than great experience. I got tired that were supposed to get 45k miles. I am drive across country and this morning I came out to a rear tire that was really low so I stopped in to this location with a bad taste from last time still lingering. After thanking to Cody he said all of my tire are 3/10 after 19k miles. So he switched the tire brand showed me what the tires ratings are and how it should perform (WAY MORE INFORMATION THAN LAST TIME). I said yes and with the last tire not getting half the life I'm getting all new tires for like $285 vs the $800 is was going to be. This was great as road trips are expensive and they really took care of me. Once more I had to leave and go check out of my hotel room so he made sure to give my back tire air so I could make it and when I got back 5 mins late there was a bay ready and waiting and he pulled it right in and started work! I had a nail in one of my tires. They came to me after a substantial wait and informed me that they were unable to repair the tire and offered to sell me a new one but it has different letting. I asked him if he would drive his vehicle with two different tires, he looked at me speechless and I answered for him and said NO. Put the tire back on and I will never buy a tire from Discount tire.
