Meet the new Boss.. ! I feel bad for the J S. review.. I too am a ten year plus customer. Yes, A to Z has another new Technician today, but in my experience getting my 2006 Ford Focus and my 1996 Lincoln Town Car smogged today.. it was a wonderful as usual. It's a Saturday morning, Corona Virus 19 is spreading rapidly across the USA and the World. I phoned the shop early this morning to see how the customer load was.. A to Z says come right over.. nice! Brought the 96 Towncar in first.. it's a more difficult client due to the Trac Lock and early OBDii interface, yet the new A to Z Technician was on top of that one as usual. It's a beast of a car so he has to connect every umbilical cord from the reserves, but he knows his stuff! The Towncar has a thin aluminium hood, and this tech knew that right off the bat and treated it with respect, unlike other shops that dented that for me.... this Technician knows how to respect a vehicle. While waiting I was offered a fresh pot of coffee by the 'Man in The Office'.. this guy is great! We chatted awhile about COVID-19, current and past events, and before I knew it twenty minutes had passed and so did the 96 Towncar.. wow, that was a lot of work for a 20 minute finale. The shop accepts nearly any form of payment and got me back on the road quickly! I returned half hour later with the 08 Focus, and the Technician had me outta there in less than twenty minutes! Dang.. Paid cash this second visit.. they happily accept cash too :-) I'll be back next SMOG cycle! See ya and THANK YOU !! read more

Took my vehicle in for a smog check and the service was beyond exceptional. The staff was so helpful and courteous. The staff made sure I understood the service my vehicle required and also made sure my vehicle actually needed the inspection to begin with. No shady feeling after leaving this place. I'm happy I stopped in. I also got a chance to meet the owner and his family during my visit. Very beautiful people. Seems to me that they love what they do and take pride in their work. Hakim is so sweet and he knows his stuff!! I think he's certified by both Mercedes and BMW for servicing. And he has a broad knowledge that enables him to identify issues in all vehicles. He sold me an awesome Fiat, puts parts on my car, smog, car inspections, etc. Hakim will always try to save you money and makes cost-saving recommendations! They always have coffee and donuts! I am doing a smog check today, there seems to be a new owner. The tech is not the same person. I been using this place for the last 10 year's. The person seems unfriendly, taking a long time to do check, he seems to be under the hood to long and often. They are having trouble with a equipment connected to the gas tank and he said it is a software problem. Another person showed up and the are trying to fix or figure out what is next. I been here for 50 minutes , smog checks should be 15 to 20 minutes. They said the new law takes 25 minutes.They say a new law makes the check longer by pressuring the fuel system as a separate check. They said the pressure test is done 4 times, and I just looked at thier computer screen, the screen said failed emission. I am at 43901 3/4 Divison street. I will report this incident to the state. read more

A to Z smog and test only. I have been to this business several times (most recent on 6/27/2019) and my overall experience has been as good as it gets. Sam is the person that has done the smog check on my truck each visit. I trust Sam completely and I have never had any kind of issue with their service. Their waiting room is clean and adequate with coffee and donuts. I have no reason to take my vehicles to any other smog check station and risk being disappointed. read more
