My car left us stranded in Salome, AZ over +200 miles from home. We had no clue if anyone could tow the car all the way back home or if we needed to rent a car. We call AZ highway patrol and they sent the request to A TOE TRUCK to pick up our vehicle and made it a priority. Anthony met us at the Pilot gas station we explained our situation with needed our car towed back home and he advised his dispatcher would work with AAA to be sure we would be covered to the extent of our membership. Anthony was great at helping us with our situation and getting our car seats out of our vehicle. He was kind, professional and exceeded our expectations. Sigh of relief when we saw our Driver (Johnny) A TOE TRUCK pull up to save our day!! 10/11/2025 Start of our driving trip Vegas to Havasu in an electric car from rental service co. That was the hiccup. Not knowing much at all about EV cars we just jumped in it after looking it over a bit though NOT noticing the fuel/electric gauge. Well we made it off 40 onto 95 straight into the terribles parking lot with 7 miles to spare. We called the rental car road emergency help line....What a joke 3 1/2 hours waiting...finally called our triple AAA and they had A TOE TRUCK (company) out within 30 min. Can't tell you how professional & helpful Johnny and his dispatch were. OMG just so relaxing and worry free they made us feel. We were panicking before he showed up. He got the car up on flat bed with no issues. Took us to the Nissan dealer we found online while waiting...which had public power strip. "No! No! This Can't Be Happening To Me!" That's what I found myself saying as I flew down the 95 in Havasu City--right before my BMW threw a transmission fault code and rolled to a stop. I managed to get it to a safe spot, called AAA, and that's when the magic started. Jonny, my driver from A Toe Truck, called me right away. His calm, reassuring voice instantly put me at ease. "I'm on my way--you're in good hands," he told me. And he wasn't wrong. Upon arrival, Jonny helped me troubleshoot a few things before loading my BMW onto his truck. my dad broke down in Parker and had to be towed back to California. We arranged a tow the night before through AAA spoke with Natalie at the tow company and everything was good to go the next morning. When my dad got in the tow truck, he was told that he would be dropped off in Indio where another tow truck would be waiting for him. Mind you it's 110°. My dad was sitting waiting for a tow truck for three hours. 70-year-old man they left in the middle of the desert a truckstop after they took the tow to take him all the way home. I have contacted. The company asked to be called back by management and have been completely ignored.. I wouldn't trust a senior with this. this was very unprofessional. My also a tow and when they contract to take a long are supposed to take it all the way from start to finish not leave some man in the desert by himself to sit and wait. My experience with A Toe Trucking was a nightmare!! My 25 year old daughter was taken advantage of price wise paying $1200 to tow her car 100 miles to the closest dealer because her car broke down in the middle of the desert! I've spent less to move a car across the country!!! To further add to the problem, the driver made an unexpected stop to pick up another car stranded on the road (who we know didn't pay nearly the same for the same distance!!!!). As a result of this unexpected stop, we we arrived at the dealer just after closing causing us to miss getting a loaner. A few days later, I called a manager (Rob) to express my concerns and he was nothing but rude and condescending. They quoted me two different prices on two different days then would not honor the cheaper price I was quoted. This tow company wanted to charge me for the mileage it would cost them to reach my vehicle before any tow was started.. not even sure this is legal. They had the rudest employee, Mariqua, on the phones I have encountered maybe ever in my life. She didn't want to tell me her name when requested and when I asked to speak to a supervisor she didn't want to let me at first. Then coincidentally the supervisor wasn't in the building, then she was busy... after giving them my number for the supervisor to call me back I still haven't heard back from anyone. I'm not holding my breath. I would never give a dime of my money to this place. I'd rather pay a different company more money for the same job. With this customer service, this place doesn't deserve to be in business let alone associated with AAA. read more

These people are INCOMPETENT, FRAUDULENT, CROOKS out to take your money. They take your money before the guy shows up. My 2019 international did not start back up due to a battery. We told them what kind of truck we had and they sent out a driver who was very nice. He brought the wrong equipment and failed to jump it. The guy said that we would get a refund but when I called, the manager MORGAN said they attempted the service so we won't be getting a refund. Boss truck stop got there in 15 min and jumped it with no problems since they're SMART enough to bring the right equipment. Plus Boss truck stop only charge $79 opposed to $150 from A Toe Truck. Now I'm out $150 because MORGAN, who was extremely RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL refuses to refund me because she's on her little high horse as a little manager. Stuck on a main street in the middle of the City at 8:31 I called AAA (Roadside service) who regretfully dispatched the call to A Toe Truck. During my initial call with them (at 9:04am) I spoke with an [albeit not friendly] person who said someone will be there within 30-40 minutes. At 9:42am I called back and connected with the above lady who said, "We have a truck down and it's going to be 60 minutes before someone can get out there" and then she was gone! Rather than call her back I got help elsewhere and figured I'll call them after I get home; however at 10:05am I received a call from a very nice young man (Creighton @ HO Truck) who said he's been looking for my truck but can't find it to which I explained above. At 10:07am I called back A Toe Truck to say what just happened and they said they were going to call me but they were too busy. In the end I had to call them to find out that after nearly :40 minutes they're going to be ANOTHER HOUR and still no ever called me to say someone is actually on their way and will be there in less than :10 minutes. Bottom line you are VERY LIKELY best served by contacting a different tow company as this was failed on many levels with me. read more

Broke down 133 miles from home and I have AAA they said I was covered for the tow plus my trailer. I got a ride home from a friend and got home at 6:30 the tow truck did not arrive until 9:30 he stopped in searchlight to eat which is 38 miles from my house. When he arrived he told me the trailer was not covered for over 100 miles and they charged me $12 per mile over 100 for 33 miles which came out to $396 with out any warning ..I would of picked up the trailer in searchlight while he was taking his time to eat lunch so save $396 if I had know they were going to rip me off at the time of arrival. I had no choice but to pay or they would impound my trailer. No customer service and a complete over charge of $12 a mile. If I had know upfront I would of figured out something else. read more

This company has a contract with the Moovale keys HOA on the river. We rented a Place for 5 days. We've done this several times a year for for over 7 years so we know the drill. With the rental comes the rights to store your boat trailer in a trailer yard on the Keys. When we went to leave we noticed our trailer was missing. We went to the rental office and found out our trailer was impounded by these people. We asked why and they said that the A Tow Truck company said there was no sticker on the trailer. We put the sticker on the trailer that the real estate rental office gave us and it was there when we parked it. Someone removed it as evident by the adhesive that was left on the trailer. We went to the impound yard and found that they impounded it on the afternoon before we were leaving. If we didn't have the sticker on it why didn't they tow it the day we parked it? At the yard was a sticker that they put on that said the date of impound and "Your license number was recorded." Well if they had the license number why didn't they do their due diligence to see if was with someone that was paying $575.00 a night for rent that included rights to store the trailer in the trailer parking? The rental agency is right next to the Keys and they had to go by it to tow the trailer. Why not check? We found out they are in with the HOA to increase fees. That is what the rental agency told us. They charged us $273.00 for not even a half day storage. It's quite obvious after talking to the rental agency that they are taking advantage of renters, towing the trailers and removing the stickers to get the fees. From a long time businessman to the owner of this company, you are defrauding people because you know they are from another state and it would not be worth the time for anyone to take you to small claims court. You know that we had to get the boat out of the river and return home and that is why you waited until the last day to impound our trailer without any due diligence. I am exploring remedies to this fraudulent practice. Beware to anyone using this company for anything. read more

I had Rich come out and fix a flat tire on my car and he was the nicest man was very efficient fixed my Flat.

My car started lurching and putting out blue smoke just after leaving Quartzsite AZ. I promptly did a u-turn and limped back into quartzsite. i was in a safe location so I had to wait my turn while another call was taken care of. I have AAA roadside assistance and am a premier customer so my m/c and r.v. is also covered which includes a one time 200 mile free tow. Depending on which rep picks up at AAA roadside, it could take awhile longer but when an escalation manager got involved things went quicker. So call and keep calling... After about 75/90 minutes Javier in trk#76 showed up. He promptly had my vehicle loaded, got the drop off location and we headed down the road 192 miles to San Bernadino. Javier is personable and the conversation was good, I enjoyed the trip all things considered. Unknownst to us until we arrived, the drop-off was in a dark area, no cameras, Javier recommended another area closer to the freeway in a well lit location which i did and waited for a different tow company for the second leg of my trip home. BEWARE!!! I know you are probably stuck right now and stressing out, but I would recommend you look elsewhere. This company is great if all goes well, but SUPER SHADY if they damage your car. Quick recap of my experience: I am driving my RV in federal land on the California side of Parker in the evening and I got stuck in some sand (my fault for not checking the ground hardness). I call them and they are able to get a driver named Rob within the hour to help us. He does a fantastic job for the first 45ish minutes. He attached our RV to a wench on his Truck and is gently pulling us out of the sand, do this over and over again getting us closer to the road. All was going well until he decided that instead of using the wench for the last 50 ft, he was going to attach us to the back of his truck and drive us up to the road. He said he would be very gentle and slow, but instead this guy yanks me back very fast while I am yelling stop (I am in the driver seat stearing) and pulls me into a tree. I WAS TERRIFIED HE WAS GOING TO FLIP THE RV IN THE MOMENT. I pull forward and am able to get back onto the road myself from this point. We look at the RV but don't see any damage, unfortunately it was dark and I was in shock. AFTERMATH: the morning after this happened, I go check the back of the RV again and it is cracked behind the bumper. I immediately call the main company line and they are very responsive. Asking me to send them pictures and that the boss would get in touch to sort this out. I asked for their insurance as a backup, but they refused to provide. This happened 2 weeks ago, I have called multiple times and have provided them everything they asked of me. I have never received an email or call from their boss or insurance company. I will be filing a police report and contacting the Better Business Bureau on Monday if I have not heard back by then. I am sorry you are stuck right now, but I promise you, you will be better off if you go with a different company if you get unlucky like me. read more

Our family of 4 plus a dog were stranded with car trouble on our way home from our vacation home in Lake Havasu on Memorial day. The owner came by with his personal vehicle and picked three of us up along with our small dog and dropped us off at the Best Western Parker Inn. (Which also gave us great service. See my review for them.) The tow driver was nice enough to make a pit stop at the hotel so we could off load our personal belonging from the bed of the truck before taking it over to the Ford dealer for repair in the morning.
