I have been going to Jenny for years and she always does an incredible job. She takes the time to listen to what I would like done and my color always comes out flawless! In fact, my stylist took as much time as I needed to discuss my haircut and what I could do with it to make improvements. Valeria, my stylist, was extremely knowledgable in hair, giving me tips and tricks as she went along. It was clear that she knew what she was doing when we discussed the cut I wanted. Unfortunately doing the exact style I wanted, wasn't going to be possible due to my hair not having grown in enough in the front, and she was honest with me instead of plowing along, knowing that it might not turn out well. After some discussion, we finally settled on a style that would look good and that I liked. She made the process painless and easy, and I actually relaxed! She is engaging and fun to talk to. It honestly felt like I was talking to a friend, and I almost asked her if she would like to hang out sometime, but luckily reigned myself in. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst salon experiences I've had…read more I arrived with an inspiration photo of the hairstyle I wanted. My stylist, Alicia Coleman, barely spoke to me before immediately taking me to wash my hair. I actually had to stop her so I could show her the reference photo. She gave it a quick glance, said, "I got you," and that was the extent of the consultation. As she styled my hair, she kept turning my chair away from the mirror so I couldn't see what she was doing. Every time I tried to look, she turned the chair even farther away. I found it very odd because I wasn't able to see the styling process or offer any feedback. Had I been able to watch, I could have pointed out that it wasn't going in the direction I wanted before she finished. When she finally turned me around for the "big reveal," I was shocked. It looked nothing like my inspiration photo. She had curled all of my hair toward my face instead of away from it, and the style was completely different from what I had requested. I wanted a side part with hair softly covering part of my forehead. When I asked if she could fix it, she told me I had too much breakage to achieve that look. I was already running late and didn't have time to stay, so I left extremely disappointed. When I got home, I had to completely wet my hair, blow-dry it all over again, and curl it myself from scratch. I was able to recreate the look I originally asked for with no problem. Paying $50 for a blowout that I had to completely redo myself was a total waste of money. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
