You could barely hear the singing and the guy played a recorder and you couldn't hear that at all. Not even a little. Also not one bartender was polite or smiled. They were all pretty rude. I felt like none of them wanted to be there. It was like I was unconvincing them to order a drink and asking for a straw. Low key offensive behavior. I am a bartender of 18 years and I also bartend at a concert hall in Memphis. So, all of these factors were a disappointment. The most polite people working there were the folks at the door. The Hall needs to step it up.

Well, I landed late, it took me longer to get my rental car than anticipated, I checked into my Airbnb and finally got here on a Thursday at around 4:30 pm. With HIGH aspirations I set out to do a mosaic of a bird. The girl (I think her name was Rose , my apologies if it's not) at the front gave me my options, explained how everything worked and the set me up at my very own table. She pulled out all of the containers, taught me how to use the tile/glass snipper and explained how to glue the pieces to the board. Cool. Easy. Let's do this! Well, I spent the first hour trying to "make" my pieces of my mosaic bird. I purposely did NOT glue anything down before figuring out what it was going to look like. Rose kept coming back to ask how I was doing and if I needed anything. She was excellently attentive. She even complemented me on my progress. I had to give her a side eye though...at that point my bird DID NOT look like a bird! Hahahah. So I decided I needed to pivot, geometric shapes it is, let's just make this look halfway decent! In my last 30 minutes I put something together, got 98% of it glued down and was satisfied with my pivot. Rose came to me at 5:57 pm, and said we're closing soon, but no rush. I'm from Los Angeles, when they come and say that to you they usually mean, hurry up, I need to close, I've got dinner plans at 6:30! Bless her heart....I always wanted to use that phrase. She was amazing, she really didn't rush me and helped me get packed. She brought everything I'd need to finish my project and gave me some directions to read the directions on the grout cover. I highly recommend this spot for DIY art. They're super helpful and very polite. All of the necessary tools are right there. Great for a small group or individual. There's lots of free parking right out front on the street.

The only thing I am upset about is that I will never know when I will be able to eat this again. Because even the few other Shakes across the country (yes, I looked) don't seem to have this option. Today was my first time at this establishment. I wanted to try a facial, seeing as I've never had…read moreone before, and the prices really can't be beat. I called at around 9am to schedule an appointment, and they got me in for 9:15am. I was seen quickly after checking in at the front desk & filling out some paperwork. I was given a skin consultation, and the student recommended a "relaxing facial" based on my current skin condition. Getting situated to get the facial was quick & easy, and the facial itself was amazing. This facial also included arms, hands, neck & shoulder massage which was so good! The process lasted about 1 hour, and at the end of it, the student went over with me a couple skin imperfections she noticed under close examination. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience
