I have been a client of Walk in the Park since it launched almost 15 years ago. For many years they walked my dog 6 days a week -- today, they are always on call when I need someone to fill in for me to walk and/or feed the dog. I have stayed with them so long because both the owners and the walkers really care about our dogs. When I moved with an elderly dog from our house of many years to an apartment, they made every effort to send walkers the dog knew to help reduce the dog's stress. One of the owners visits new clients to learn about both the dog and the owner's preferences; to see the lay of the land and understand the dog owners' preferences. All this is in a folder that every walker brings when coming to walk our dog. An experienced walker or one of the company owners accompanies hew dog walkers on their first day. So you can be totally comfortable with the dog walkers who are entering your home. After the walk, you get a full report in writing from the dog walker. I have recommended Walk in the Park to a number of friends and neighbors over the years and all ended up swearing by the company. I think you will too. read more

I had a last minute long weekend trip and A Walk in the Park couldn't have been more accommodating or have provided me with better service. I have two rabbits, one of whom has a chronic health condition, and A Walk in the Park took perfect care of them. They fit me in for a meet and greet on short notice and provided an easy to use portal for me to enter the bunnies' needs beforehand so we could discuss it in person. I especially appreciated being able to record Sherman's special routine in detail. Every day I was gone I had a message in the portal from the pet sitters about how Sherman and Grant were doing -- one day I even got pictures! -- and when I came home they were both in great shape and very happy. I was just thrilled and am so relieved to know that for future trips I will be able to call A Walk in the Park and know my bunnies will be in good hands. Highly recommend! read more

AWITP is Amazing! They've been with us for over 20 years, and over the lives of 3 precious labradors. They provide amazing care, playfulness, and lots of doggie love -- and their team becomes part of our extended family. I can't say enough about AWITP at every level. Cute story ... a few weeks ago one of the AWITP walkers took my dog for her daily walk. I was out at the time and got a call from the owner (Noelle) to say that her walker found a golden walking down the street with no collar. I have a fenced in yard, so the walker brought the golden to my house so that he could be protected and safe while we found his family (two doors down, new neighbors, dog got out when delivery folks dropped off new furniture). o was so touched by the way AWITP handled this situation. A Walk in the Park has been walking my Standard Poodle for a several months now and I continue to be gratified and amazed how they go above and beyond the primary task of walking my dog. If I accidentally leave a door to the outside open, they close it. If UPS leaves a package for me, they bring it inside. In addition to their thoughtfulness they are absolutely reliable, caring and trustworthy. NO, we are not in anyway related and they have not compensated me for this review. A Walk in the Park is an outstanding business offering reliable pet sitting for true peace of mind. We've been using a Walk in the Park for several years and can attest to the attentiveness of its staff and the peace of mind they offer. We first started using the company when our pet sitter passed away just a couple of days before a vacation. They graciously agreed to help us on short notice and have been a godsend. With their team of caregivers we never have to worry about a contingency plan if an individual pet sitter can't get to the house due to an unforeseen emergency. We have been using A Walk in the Park for about 4 years now, previously called Royal Pedigree. They are absolutely wonderful and our kitties can be a little skittish with new people but love their visits. We have used them for cat sitting when we take out of town trips and they keep us updated with every visit and send pictures. We usually opt to have 2 15-25 minute visits daily so they can eat at their usual times twice daily and have some human contact. They also bring in mail, open blinds, turn on/off lights, etc. We have only had a wonderful experience and will keep using them! My English Setter dogs and I have been super satisfied clients for 16 years! These trustworthy and reliable animal lovers and care-givers have played an important role in my dogs' lives, happiness, and wellbeing. The dogs are happier to see the walkers when they arrive than when I get home from work (and hey - I walk the dogs too!). I've had 5 dogs (two dogs at a time) since we started the service and the walkers have bonded with all of them over the years. I have been using A Walk In The Park for 3 years now. They have always done a great job taking care of my cat Charlie. They send you updates after every visit with pictures and a checklist of all the services received. They leave the litter completely clean and take all litter out of the apartment. They will pick up your mail and water your plants. They are dependable ,reliable and trustworthy. Love this business! Local, family owned and operated. They have been a blessing for my family - from coming multiple times a day for a whole service operation when my family goes out of town to coming on short-notice when we have to stay late at work. They offer common sense full service - they change my cat's litter or give my dog her medication when required, as well as feed, walk or throw a ball in our backyard with our pets. I can't say enough good things about a Walk in the Park. We have a rescue dog, who is big and strong, pulls heroically and is fearful of all things, sounds and most people. He fell for 95% of the walkers we saw everyday. They taught him to walk reasonably every day for them 5 days a week.
