We were completely wrong. We walked in and were immediately ushered into our separate rooms. It was incredibly dark and there was no real greeting or conversation about what any focus areas should be. Then I I noticed that on the bed was all but a small towel that was to be used to cover myself while the massage was going on. Did I mention it was also dirty and stained? The masseuse comes in and just starts the session. He does a lot of pressing while the dry towel is on me but no actual massaging. Eventually, he draws back the towel, adds an excessive amount of oil and hardly massages. It honestly felt more like a back rub. I could go on, but ultimately it was a terrible waste of $70 ($60 + $10 tip) and 60 minutes. All it gave me were additional knots and funny stories to share with my boyfriend who was in the next room having a similar experience.
