**Triple check the pricing**. I received an itemized invoice before service and selected the…read morerecommended service, and declined additional work. I received a grand total including tax and misc. fees. I called before approving the final total and the staff confirmed that invoice would be my *final* total and the document I signed was not an estimate. I was told no work is done without approval. So I e-signed the invoice as a binding agreement. Later I received an updated invoice, with an additional 90+ dollars. I called and was told that the mechanic "un-declined" services for me. I was calm and respectful and requested clarification. The mechanic I was handed to accused me of trying to make him work for free. I expressed to him that I had been told I had the final total, and I would not have been able to agree to if it had been any more expensive than I was quoted. He was very frustrated with me and told me he should have charged me $270 more, and I should be grateful he gave me a discount. I do not understand how I went from receiving "transparent" pricing which I confirmed, to being accused of being a malicious person. I was not rude and I do not know what I could have done differently to have gotten the information I needed to make an informed decision. For those reading the response, I have an invoice with a final total that shows I did not approve the $270 repair. I edited my review because the owner responded with a lie. Notice there was not an apology for the way I was spoken to, just the owners dismay at my having pointed it out. I spoke with an associate on the phone to confirm my total. I was then charged for something I can prove I declined. I won't worry about proving it to Yelp, I'll be filing the appropriate reports to governing bodies. I have copies of all three invoices. I had hoped it was a mistake but it doesn't seem that way.

Today, I went back because I started hearing this awful squeaky/grinding sound coming from one of my front tires/brakes. Emmanuel (Owner) put my car up on the lift, took off tire, examined it, and was able to find a small rock caught between the tire and the break. He showed me the rock and where it had lodged itself. After putting everything back together, he handed me my keys and sent me on my way-no charge at all, even though he spent a good 40 minutes fixing it!!! I'm so thankful for his help, his labor, and his precious time. Most importantly thankful for his honesty. He could've easily said I needed new parts, but he didn't. This time, I didn't even have to leave the shop. ( made an appointment yesterday) He took care of my car as soon as he became available. The only thing I didn't like was actually the customers in the small waiting room on their phone playing games with sound on and talking on speaker phone. No etiquette. :( Recommend by my friend who used to get service from the previous owner of this shop who also was an honest man. I will definitely continue to come back here.

Went for an oil change & to look into a relatively minor check engine light. Both were resolved…read morefine. While that was going on they sent a quote for a bunch of other maintenance items, which I refused. Fine, lots of other shops do this kind of thing. But they wanted quite a lot for engine air filters, so I decided to do that myself. Today I get into my engine and discover the hose from the air filter box to the engine is completely loose. There's two of these on my car -- one was properly tight, the other was so loose it had a gap letting unfiltered air into the engine. This is the only shop that's touched my car for a couple years, and if they were recommending an air filter replacement I have to assume they actually looked at them. Easy fix, just tightening a worm clamp after swapping the filters. But my car was in this state for a few months. Reader, this silly mistake could have destroyed the car's engine, and very well may have damaged it. It does not take a lot of unfiltered debris to permanently score cylinder walls. I'd need to go get a compression test to know for certain. I came to this shop for oil changes & maintenance because I didn't want to feel the need to crawl around my car double-checking a quick-change place's work. That is apparently not the level of service they are set up to provide. For what they charge and the "vibe" they give off, this sort of thing should be on a checklist a second mechanic runs through before delivering the car. Real basic "humans are capable of making mistakes" type of controls.

Exact same service experience: a focus on upselling "recommended" services and not on why the vehicle is there in the first place. Spent $1,500 for NOTHING. Will NEVER GO BACK!!!
