If you are looking for excellent quality, great service, at an affordable price look no further. After reading the reviews and looking over the pictures, assuming these are cars Travis has worked on, I decided to give him a call. I explained my situation and asked for an estimate. My car's high-end so when people see that they bill me accordingly, not Travis, the man gave me a legitimate price for the complete package car stereo with Bluetooth and a new antenna. I asked about GPS as well and this is the great part Travis did not try to oversell me he told me the pros and cons about the GPS system and let me decide, no sales pressure. When the work was complete Travis took the time to go over the system with me. It was not slam bam thank you ma'am here is you build give me the money and good luck. Not at all after the bill was paid we talked for about another 15 or 20 minutes. Before leaving Travis told me about a mechanic that I might like to talk to about restoring my car. Travis is Phenomenal! I bought a GMC Sierra with an alarm in it and I did not receive the Key Fob with it. I must have brought it to 10 Alarm Installers who all said either they would not even touch it or that the only thing I can do it rip it out and put in a new one.... I refused to accept this as an answer, so I brought it to A1 expecting the same response.... not even close. Travis, on his own time on his day off, was in the office and took a look at it and said "yeah I can fix this, I'll order you a remote" and he did just that. Travis rewired half the alarm, reprogrammed the entire thing, linked a remote, and got the truck to not only unlock remotely but to remote start and everything I could possibly want. Travis even fixed an issue that he noticed without asking me for a dime extra. I would recommend this shop to ANYONE who wants to get ANYTHING done for the right price. Travis will take care of you.... very few people care about customer service any more, not the case here. They will treat you as you are family and will not let you leave with any issues! A1 stereo is by far the most honest professional audio shop I've ever dealt with in Broward County and in the past I've been to many of them!..I had an issue with an amp that stopped working.after talking to a few other Audio shops in Broward that couldn't see me for a couple weeks, I called a1 stereo and talked to the owner Travis who told me to stop by anytime during business hours and he would diagnose the problem for me.the next day I stopped by and Travis had my amp fixed, up and running within 15mins in and out!...a1 stereo is now and forever the only audio I will use...they carry only top of the line products, they don't bs you,and are super nice..trust me after 15 years of being into car Audio in Broward County and I've been to 12 or more audio shops in those 15 years and you would be unwise to go anywhere else but a1 car stereo!....thanks a lot Travis to you and your team for taking care of me super fast!..see you in the near future my friend! read more

I had a complete stereo system installed in my Mazda MX-5. Travis recommended an excellent system with a Pioneer head unit, 8 speakers, and a subwoofer. Travis made a custom bezel, which makes the unit looks like it came from the factory. The speakers and subwoofer are perfect for my car. The system has made the car complete. I can't say enough about the quality of work. After installing the system, Travis wasn't satisfied with the sound. It sounded good to me, but Travis completely disassembled everything, found the problem, and buttoned it back up again. I doubt many other installers would have gone to that much trouble. I also feel like I got a great deal on the system. Every component is top-shelf, name brand equipment. The labor charges for installation were very reasonable, and as I said above, my job was done to perfection. read more

I have been to A1 Car Stereo three times, the most recent yesterday. This is a great place, they stand behind their work and don't rip off the customer, what else could a consumer ask for? Complimentary lattes and croissants? I had a problem with the radio in my daughter's car that Travis had installed. The problem was a manufacturers defect (cheap screws) and yet Travis and Don replaced the cheap ass screws with better quality ones, spent an hour of their time taking the dash apart to do it, and would not take any payment! Had a great experience with Travis from A1. He listened to my concerns and delivered perfectly. He took my stock new Lexus Premium system and made it sound 100x better with absolutely no modification to my car, and keeping everything looking and functioning stock (except the sound of course). The work was done on schedule and with great attention to detail and quality. Update 5/19: Just picked up my new Accord Sport and used Mr. Travis again. I was NOT let down. He even was able to schedule me to have my alarm installed while I wait.
