I had a feeling this would happen. At times I try my best to avoid it, but it eventually happened and I'm deeply pissed about it. On the block where I live, my neighbors have more than a few visitors that park as they please. Sometimes they block my entry into the driveway or other times I have to carefully maneuver my vehicle through the limited space I'm faced with. This time during the maneuvering I heard a noise. I happened to pass too close to the wooden gate. Total shock followed by anger took over me when I stepped out and noticed not only a scratch on the front bumper, but an open tear as well. I will spare you the aftermath of my emotions and fast forward to how I ended up at Gold Coast Collision Center located along S. Dixie Highway. I found this small paint and body shop through Yelp search. I met the owner who was very pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable about the work and labor that has to be done. Since the damage on my vehicle was minimal, I was told to bring it by the next day and the work should be completed within 24 hours. 24 hours later.... I arrived at the shop within two hours after receiving a phone call informing me that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. The owner was not there, but I met an associate of his who took me into the work area to take a look at my baby. I was speechless and very happy at what I was seeing. The scratch and tear was gone like it was never there. They 100% matched the color and the gloss of the paint was exactly how it looked the day I drove it out of the dealership. I really appreciate the swift and efficient work the guys at Gold Coast Collision Center has done. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing paint and body work. Thank you Gold Coast, I had a very minor repair (the door handle came off on one of the rear doors of my Chevy Silverado) I called and inquired if this was too small a job the young lady that answered the phone said not at all bring it in. I brought my truck in along with the door handle and in about 15-20 minutes they were able to reinstall the old handle. When asked cost they said no charge (I tipped him and thanked him). To put this in perspective the local dealership wanted $550 to replace the handle (not reuse the existing) and I would have to bring to a body shop to be painted. The dealership where I purchased the vehicle (further away) said they could make the repair with the painting of the handle included cost $420 and I would have to leave the vehicle. I am still waiting to hear back as to when I should bring it in, the kicker is that it was at the dealership for a 90,000 service and I asked to replace the handle at that time (they did not after sitting for 6 hours waiting). Based on my experience I would certainly recommend Gold Coast. Thanks again. read more

Rip off degenerate owner. Tells a very low price to get you in the door, holds car for 3 days, tells story after story and then hits you with double the price. To start, James and Bob represent themselves as the owner of this business, which they are not. Had my car repaired here a couple of months ago. Had to bring the car back twice for a total of three times. All three times I received the car back, it was filthy dirty inside and out. Repairs were never done correctly. Not only that but they did an area they had to repair because they scratched it wasn't even buffed out and the color wasn't even close to original. Too many other things to bore you with. I decided to sell the car at a great loss rather than go thru the court thing and another repair job, obviously some where else. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP UNLESS YOU REALLY DONT CARE ABOUT IT. I hate leaving bad feedback and remarks about any company, but these guys are the worst and everyone needs to know about it. this keeps you from going thru what I had to experience.
