Unfortunately, I have had to get auto body repairs for three years in a row. I am not a great parker. The repairs needed have ranged from extensive to minor. Each time, A 1 did a great job, and, as important to me, treated me respectfully and professionally. This a first class place. I hope I don't have any more accidents but if I do, this is where I will go. THey are lovely people including the young man who drove me back and forth from my house while the car was in the shop. read more

I brought my car in for auto body repair after an accident. I was told the car would be ready in a week. A1 ordered the wrong part and said it would take another week. They explained the insurance company told them to order off market parts and that the part didn't fit when it came in. So, they had to order the part from the manufacturer. It actually took ~2 1/2 weeks for a very minor repair. They blamed it on the insurance company. However, they were not telling the truth. The insurance company said A1 would have to pay for the additional week of car rental because of "their" mistake. We picked up the car and the work seemed good. However, we got a call from the rental company a week later saying we would have to pay for the extra week because A1 told them to bill the customer. The cost was erroneously charged to my credit card. The work was good, but now I am in a position where I have to take them to small claims court to recover the funds charged to me unless this is resolved. BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN USING THIS SHOP!!! read more

I had a great experience at A1. I went through USAA and A1 is a preferred shop, and they made the experience very easy and did a great job. Enterprise is right down the road and convenient to access a rental vehicle. My only complaint is that they did not tell me they removed our car seats in the back; they were reinstalled but not exactly as we preferred. However all in all for a body shop it was a great experience, I would highly recommend A1. read more

Buckle in for my story with A1 Auto Body. It's not too interesting but it's disappointing and weird. I got in a minor car accident a couple months ago and needed some repairs. The place was chosen by the insurance of the person who hit my car. Immediately, it was clear that the office staff was too frazzled to deal with me; they handed me someone else's documents, had me run back and forth to my car to get things for them instead of just doing it when I left, etc. (They did, however, give me a cool pen.) I assumed I caught them at a busy time (they had just 2 customers there, including me) and I can't hold that against people, so I didn't care at all. It soon became clear that this is simply the least organized and professional business I've seen in a long time! I made an appointment (at a specific time/day) to drop off my car, and asked how long this would probably take. They said they wouldn't even *look* at it for a few days (to give an estimate of how long repairs would take). It probably would have taken minutes to look at what the problem was (a really general ballpark guess would have worked too) but it took several days to even start looking, and I'm not sure why I needed an appointment in the first place if they weren't even going near the car for days afterwards. Just... strange, and inefficient. I called often for updates, since it was taking longer than I expected, but nobody seemed to know what was going on. In fact, I was met with bizarre rudeness. Once, I called asking for the status of the repairs, and the woman simply said "I'm sorry, my brain is in like a million places right now, I'll just call you back", hung up, and didn't call me back. Another time, I called with a question, the woman on the phone said she'd call me back, and didn't- I called again, she said she forgot. Eventually I was told my car would finally be ready that evening or early the following morning, and so that morning I called again to ask about the status. The woman on the phone said they were cleaning the car, so I asked, "When will it be ready?" She said, sarcastically, as if I were annoying her: "Uh, when they're done." It was like a middle-schooler being intentionally dismissive and sarcastic for the purpose of just being a jerk! What??? Finally I got someone to give me a vague estimate so I could plan to come get my car, and I was told I'd get a call at that time to say it was ready. Well, that time came and went and I wasn't contacted, so I called them myself, yet again. The woman who answered the phone again was clearly pissed that I was calling, and snapped at me that "I already told you that someone would call" and so on (nobody had). It's quite uncomfortable when there's such a bizarrely angry person on the other line. I don't think I was being very difficult, but I felt like I was asking too much for just wanting to know the status of my vehicle when no one was telling me. Eventually I somehow got them to tell me the new, much later, projected time. I showed up to complete a small additional payment and get the car (the same woman from the phone told me she couldn't accept my method of payment, but when I asked someone else, they confirmed that indeed they could accept it. Disorganized and weird but I was able to pay and get the hell out of there). Also, it took around 6 weeks when there wasn't much damage to begin with, which seemed like quite a long time. To be fair, they had to order a part, and it's possible that's what took an unusually long time. The car seems fine, and clean, which is nice. No complaints there. I don't think I've ever been to a business as disorganized and unprofessional. It was pretty uncomfortable and annoying to deal with the secretary/whoever else was answering phones. The good news is that they actually did the job and fixed the car. read more

When someone crashes into your car it's traumatic. They made it as painless as possible, between dealing with my insurance (USAA) which they're a recommended shop to having the rental car dropped off at the location. They made it easy - I even received regular text updates, and now can't even tell that there was a bump in my side panel. Highly recommend! read more

My entire experience with A1 was impressive. The place itself is very clean and modern. The owner was visible and talking to customers when I dropped off my car. They work directly with Enterprise, which makes things super easy when you need a rental car. I picked up my car a few days ago and it looks amazing. I was actually strongly considering getting a new car, until I picked up my current one from A1. The bumper and rest of my car look great. My car felt like brand new inside. They must have detailed the entire car. I would highly recommend bringing your car to A1. I've never written a review, but the professionalism and quality of work provided by Dennis and the team of A1 Auto Body really necessitated one. I got in an accident a few weeks before graduation and my auto insurance recommended A1 Auto Body. I had a tight time frame between the accident and moving out-of-state and Dennis worked quickly to get my car in and returned it in incredible condition. The damage was corrected using quality parts, the car was detailed inside and out, and the staff proved incredibly kind and accommodating. My Fiance tore up the bed on my 2014 Silverado LTZ and I needed extensive repairs done for it. I saw a review from someone else that was using USAA and decided to go with them. I had my car repaired at A1 after a car hit my rare bumper and was recommend here from Amica. I had an awful experience. I was told I needed a rare bumper which wouldn't take a long time to repair however it took a week and a half. When I called to check on the progress I was told it was a heat wave and the employers were taking it slow. I was then told that the price was doubled from what I was originally told which is total BS for just a bumper. Talk about scamming the insurance company. When I did get my car back, all was well until 2 months. Service lights started coming on and off, brought it to my dealership and they said a rare right sensor was disconnected, and my blue tooth was not working. This is a 2 year old car and it's first accident. A1 either never fixed the problem or caused it when they were repairing the bumper. This place is such a joke, I would never recommend anyone to go here unless you want them to open a can of worms! read more
