Dino is very easy to communicate with and more importantly transparent regarding the amount of work required and pricing. There were no tricks, no bad surprises. I was initially skeptical because I had never used a "mobile repair service" and the color of my car, habanero orange (I did not choose but the car looks pretty good), is not the most common. Which is why I called a few body shops. Needless to say that the estimates were higher except for one shop which however lacked in terms of communication skills. And I am fairly sure that the price would have gone up after I showed up. Additionally, none could perform the work the same day. Which is one of the extras that Dino can provide. He announced about 1h30 worth of work but the job lasted for almost 3h from the time he showed up at my building's parking lot. That does not account for the time it took him to get the equipment and the paint. The price I paid was well worth the time he spent getting the tools and dealing with the repair. Although I am not a professional, I believe that he could have done the job in 1h30. But the guy is a perfectionist and prides himself for diligence. He stayed until the paint dried up and he is sure that the color matches the original color. I will let you judge by yourselves from the photos. The man is also a very decent individual. I stayed during the entire time, asked all the questions I wanted to ask. He did not seem to be bothered. We had a great conversation. Got a large dent in my SUV after some poor maneuvering around an oversized cement parking barrier in a crowded lot. Didn't want the hassle of a body shop and being charged excessively (when I'm purposely avoiding the insurance route as I felt like the repair would have cost the same as my deductible). Sent A1 Dent Tech an email with photos of the damage and Dino replied giving me an estimate of repair (very reasonable) and was able to arrange a date where he would come to do the mobile repairs. All he needed from me was the paint color as he would do his best to match. Easy convenient, while I was working from home, he worked in my driveway and did the much needed repairs. He was able to pull out the dent and did an absolutely amazing job as it looks as if it was never damaged. You can tell Dino is an artist / master at this craft as his attention to detail was superior (my dent follows into the rear tail light assembly, the quarter panel had to be straightened out and painted properly along the light assembly edges and made to fit properly again). Dino did an awesome job on my car. His preliminary estimate came extremely fast once I submitted a picture of the damage. He quoted a price based on that picture and I hired him to do the work. When he arrived at my place next day, he noticed more damage that was not visible in the picture. He explained the differences to me and what the additional effort would be to fix it properly. He gave me options and what I considered a fair revision in price before I gave the go-ahead to perform the work. We had Dino from A1 Dent help us replace the bumper and a dent above the bumper. Top notch work quality, quick and a great price especially when compared with local autobody shops. Everything including painting was done within 2-3 hours. In my past experience with autobody shops you have to leave your car there for 3-7 days.
