Several years ago I located his practice after retirement, when I no longer had VSP coverage, and my vision care provider at the time, a major UC affiliated clinical practice, which was current with Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) refused senior medicare insurance. Dr. Ensor is among a very small number in the bay area, who is well versed and equipped in monitoring and in available treatment options for AMD, being on call 24/7 for emergencies in vision changes, and his office accepts medicare and other related senior insurance plans.
