My wife and I have been going to EyeLab for about 8 years for regular glasses, computer glasses and sunglasses. -The service from Pete is always great, even when my optometrist made an error, Pete remade the lenses at no charge. -EyeLab has a great selection of frames, but if you have your own, Pete can put new lenses in them. -Pete can show you the difference betweeen polarized lenses and un-polarized. Polarized can make it hard to see screens in vehicles. -EyeLab can make computer glasses which help reduce my eyestrain a lot. -Prices are less at EyeLab than 2 other places I checked last year. This is the only place I trust to make my prescription lenses. Pete (the owner) is an amazing human being. He's friendly, helpful and a master lens maker. I've had a tricky and severe prescription for a long time and it was near impossible to get lenses that didn't distort my vision. With Pete's expert guidance over several years we were always able to get it done correctly and help me see clearly. Pete educated me more about what all the numbers on a prescription mean more than any optometrist or even ophthalmologist I've seen. He has been an absolute life saver. And his prices are always reasonable. Also, I recently had cataract surgery. Pete went out of his way to tell me what to expect, possible complications, what lens implants I should get and also what my prescription would be after the surgery. And as you can probably guess, he was spot-on on about absolutely everything. Post-surgery I still require glasses, and Pete will remain my go-to guy. I came here to get a pair (or two) of glasses adjusted. I've gone to other places, but I like the availability and hours with this location. When I came in on a weekday, the guy helped me immediately. He was patient and worked with me as we further fitted my glasses. I was really happy with his patience and diligence. I would definitely recommend. I did call ahead and he did tell me no appointment needed, walk in okay. This is shared with the cvs/safeway complex near the Starbucks. There's plenty of parking but sometimes parking directly in front may be taken. I didn't have an issue too much with the parking. read more

What a great find. This guy is a true craftsman who knows his field and takes great pride in his work. He makes lenses himself and has an awesome array of high quality and stylish frames. His prices are a surprise too as my eye glass insurance disappeared and he came in far less than I had paid with insurance. Peter is awesome! I found the business on Yelp awhile back and was impressed by the reviews. I have a pair of vintage glasses that I purchased a few years ago. One of the arms was broken and misplaced. I went to several places searching for a repair and was turned down saying that they couldn't be fixed. These were one of my favorite glasses so I held on to them hoping that someone would help me. I walked in to EFO last week and was greeted right away. Peter told me that he would try and fix them and to come back the next day. Amazingly he called me 2 hours later to tell me that he fixed my glasses! I was shocked and so excited. I had two eyeglasses that needed repair. One had a missing nose pad, and the other had its hinges damaged. I was interested in going to the Eyelab Factory Outlet because of its close proximity from my home and its excellent Yelp reviews. I called before I came in to find out their hours of operation, their prices to fix my eyeglasses, and how long it would take to repair them. He answered all my questions and I found out that his name was Pete (the owner). I only had one of my eyeglasses to repair that day, so I figured that if he did a satisfactory job, I would bring in my 2nd pair. When I arrived, I was able to meet Pete and he was able to repair both of my nose pads in about a minute. He even gave me the option on what size of nose pads I wanted, mentioning to me that if I wanted a different one, I can always come back in on another day to replace them at no charge. At the end to repair my nose pads, he charged me $10 as he quoted me over the phone. I was satisfied. A couple of days later, I brought in my 2nd pair of eyeglasses which he was able to repair my hinges. He didn't charge me anything for that. I was definitely very happy with his customer service and I will come back here again the next time I need any other repairs. The service we receive here at Eyelab Factory Outlet is outstanding. This business sells glasses new and repairs glasses that are out of alignment or need to be fixed. Custom clip on sunglasses can be made while you wait. Usually these Mom and Pop shops do not have fashionable or up to date glasses styles but this is not the case with Eyelab. They have a really big selection of new and fashionable glasses. All you have to do is bring your prescription in for new glasses from your eye doctor. They do not accept insurance -FYI. The prices at Eyelab are great. The price for a new set of glasses might be cheaper here then billing your insurance depending on what type of insurance you have. My 6 year old son is very tough on his glasses. We come in Eyelab to get his nose pads replaced and his glasses realigned. The cost to have this done is $10 which is reasonable in my book. I'm happy with the service here and will keep returning in the future. read more

Pete is such a nice guy. My glasses was missing a screw and it keeps on loosen up. At first look at the glasses he said that he try to find something that fit since it was a special kind of screw. After five minutes he was able to find something and made the glasses tighter. I asked him how much I owe him for the service and he said free of charge. You can't find any type of this service anymore. I was excepting maybe like something like $10 dollars at least but he insisted it was okay. The store has a lot of different type of glasses and I will for sure go there next time for my next pair of glasses. P.s. he also cleaned my glasses without asking. I was greeted by Pete who was absolutely fantastic! He helped me right away and was able to pick frames out like he knew exactly what I wanted, when I didn't even know what I wanted as far as style. Less than 24 hours later I had glasses made with my lenses that he had shipped overnight, protective film and in the frames that I picked, ready to be picked up. He said he couldn't get started until that evening and asked would that be alright? I was floored - yes of course it's alright! I didn't even think they were fixable!
