At first, we appreciated their services, but over time, the issues piled up: - Inadequate cameras in the play area that don't cover the full space, leaving us unsure of what really happens. - "Pawgress" reports included photos of other dogs, not Crosby, making us question if she was even getting the attention we paid for. - Fearful reactions--Crosby started shaking and whining at drop-off, which she never used to do. - Unfulfilled services: Multiple times, we paid for grooming (including Furmination) only for her to come home completely untouched, despite wearing a bandana like she'd been groomed. Staff apologized and promised refunds, but nothing changed. The final straw? After her last "grooming," Crosby came home filthy, stinking like creek water, and with thick layer of loose fur--proof she hadn't been brushed, let alone Furminated. When I complained, they offered a refund (still not received). It's heartbreaking to leave after three years, but PetSuites has repeatedly failed our trust. Crosby deserves better, and so do you. See the photo--this is how much fur came out after her supposed "groom." Unacceptable. Do better, PetSuites. Even then, we won't be back.

They've been there for training for my dogs as well as foster dogs, they've been there for grooming, they've been there to help deter bad behaviors, they helped me administer medicine to a sick dog, they're there for reliable doggy daycare, one day they even went to my house to help me out of a bind. The team over there is lead by Oscar and I'm so grateful to them for everything they do for me and my pets.

I found Ruff Tales while searching for someone who could properly train my high-energy pit bull…read morepuppy...and choosing them turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made for my dog...after reaching out...they quickly set me up with a consultation...that's where I met the owner...Oscar...from the moment we talked...it was clear he's extremely knowledgeable and genuinely intelligent when it comes to dog training...he walked me through exactly what would be worked on...set realistic expectations...and answered every question I had. I decided to leave my puppy with Ruff Tales for a 3-week training program...and the results were incredible...my wild little puppy came back a little man...he still has work to do...but Oscar gave him an amazing foundation that I can continue building on at home. I'm beyond pleased with the progress and the professionalism shown throughout the entire process...I already plan to bring my pup back for a follow-up in about four months. If you have a rowdy...high-energy puppy and don't know where to turn...do yourself a favor and bring them to Ruff Tales...highly recommended.

I understand that this is part of the risk of doggy day care, however, what is concerning to me is the lack of attention to the fact that my dog was bit. They didn't even know he got bit, I pointed out because I noticed it when I got home. I called back and the younger girl (the receptionist) said she didn't think it happened on her shift and would ask and call me back. No follow up was given. I emailed the facility with pictures and video and NO follow up, no email back. Luckily my dog did have a dental scheduled with his vet the next day so my vet did look at it, she did say that it was pretty deep but thankfully is already healing. My dog has a scar from this now, and a cowlick in the area where the injury was. If I place my dog in your care, I would expect some sort of communication or even acknowledgment of injury. There was none. I haven't been back since, and this was a few months ago.

My main worry is who is watching these dogs? And how no one was able to give me a straight answer on why and how my dog got hurt. Poor baby was anxious and scared the whole day. Went back to cancel the doggy day care plan that I had purchased, once again the girls at the front desk were understanding and cooperative but i just wouldn't risk bringing my dog here again.

Doing our research, we went to Pet Suites and found these rooms much more at home rather than keeping our pet in a kennel barking under fluorescent lights. Her room was a good size, well kept and clean. We usually don't keep her with other dogs and they made sure she could stay separated when having the outdoor play time and using the bathroom. Play, feeding, and bathroom were included. Very grateful for the fantastic/attentive staff and reasonable care. We would definitely book again in the near future.

As first-time dog boarders, we were anxious about leaving her, especially given her background. Mary at the front desk was incredible--she gave us a tour of the boarding area and completely put our minds at ease. While we were away, they sent us regular updates and photos, which was so reassuring. It was clear that the staff genuinely love and care for the dogs they board, going above and beyond to make the experience great. Northwest Paws Retreat will definitely be our go-to for all future boarding needs, and I can't recommend them highly enough after such a positive experience. I'm sad to post a bad review.:( we have been boarding our dog here for over 3 years and it has…read morereally gone down hill. I used to recommend Urban Mutt and now I will not bring my boy back. I'm not sure if management changed or what? The facility used to have longer hours (6:30am-6:30pm) and gradually the hours have shifted (7:30am-5pm) which isn't as convenient when you're traveling. This also makes a longer night alone for my pup:( this last visit he came home so thirsty, very stinky and exhausted. He slept for 2 straight days. Urban mutt used to post videos every day and there was not 1 post over the 4 days he was boarding. They also seemed short staffed. For these many reasons, I will be taking our dog to a new facility.

They always review all of our options with us and they treat our animals like they are their own. They have also euthanized a few of our sweet babies and handled it with such love, care and kindness. I have never had such a calming and peaceful feeling about bringing my animals anywhere until I came here. I trust them 100% with all of our 28 barn cats, 5 indoor cats and 7 dogs. Two vets missed a heart murmur in my dog…read more After prescribing cough medicine for a very serious cough, it did nothing for my dog, they then needed me to do a chest x-ray on him. I had the x rays done after his symptoms progressed (episodes of passing out and loss of bodily control) and they were still confident it was lungs, though I had mentioned a previous potential heart murmur diagnosis from a year ago. X-ray shows enlarged heart and now they need an echocardiogram to be CERTAIN it's heart disease. While deciding to move forward with this vet and give them more money or find a second opinion, (a week and a half?) my dog went downhill quickly on a weekend. The emergency vet immediately heard a murmur and could say after an x ray, with 90% confidence that he had heart disease. He passed away 4/13/25. I am to blame for putting things off while trying to navigate money and these decisions with this vet who I was questioning after going back and forth with for a span of 2-3 months. I still don't understand how TWO vets miss a severe heart murmur. Fine enough vet for vaccines and what not, but if somethings going on with your animal, maybe find somewhere else. Hank was the best boy and lived a full and long life. RIP
