As I was pulling in, someone else pulled in just before me, but because I called he actually took me first. He gave me the paperwork and the price and true to his word, he was done in 15 minutes. My dad (older gentleman) Came in to get a smog and he failed it for aftermarket cat not having the correct carb number said it was "tampered" but the reality is this tech here didn't do his job properly by inspecting the car properly. After failing here I was advised to take to Vallejo smog dog in Vallejo and the technician found the numbers on the side of the cat converter verified that that number was good is in compliance with the year make model and engine family and it passed. The tech at Vallejo smog dog saved us money by doing a through inspection and going above and beyond before failing my car and making me buy a new cat (which I already did but decided to try a more honest smog shop before welding it in.)
