Milt's garage was fantastic from the moment we called on the phone to ask about the cost of getting a repair done. Jazz was wonderful to us on the phone, and you got the feeling that these guys were proud of what they do and they were genuine people, not a shop trying to scam you out of your hard-earned money. They were honest and straightforward in what they did to our car. We have a 2010 Honda CRV and the AC compressor needed to be replaced, which is a very expensive job. We knew it was going to be expensive, but we also wanted someone that we could totally trust so they didn't charge us another $1,000 more. I had a good feeling when we walked into the waiting room. Jazz greeted us right away, as well as the mechanics walking in and out; they all greeted everybody in the room, telling them hello. You just don't get that at normal places. We have never been here, and because of the wonderful reviews, we thought we'd definitely want to give them a shot. We do not regret using them to repair our car. When it all came down to the total $$$, Jazz was able to save us another $300 off the initial cost because he was able to source a slightly less expensive AC compressor for the car. They also follow up with you a week later to see if everything is okay; you get the feeling that this is run by some really good, honest people that don't want to rake you over the coals like some of the other shops. I would highly recommend giving them a call and talking to them if you're hesitant about it. You'll probably have the same experience I did. I recently relocated back to California and had a service engine light come on and when I called they immediately had me come in to inspect my 650 grand coupe. The owner Keith was amazing. Went into Milt's because I failed my smog check down the street. Didn't think I would get the issue fixed since I was coming in midday. They did not have the part that I needed so he called Honda to see if the part was available and it was. I went and picked it up and they were able to change out my PCV hose free of charge. Customer service here was amazing. I usually go to Jiffy Lube for my oil changes and tire rotations, but I'll be coming to Milt's instead!!! 10/10!!! read more

Low budget shysters. Took specialty car in for pre-purchase inspection. Cost more than $300. The results were They stated the obvious - nicks and scratches on body, transmission is making noise, and worse, included "tech that test drove says performance not as good as not as good as others he has driven and feels sluggish". 1) The transmission noise is a given when the failure prone, OEM clutch and flywheel are replaced with aftermarket equipment. 2) The body panel scrapes are obvious to anyone looking at the car. 3) The tech is no expert on this rare model vehicle. The performance is the same as any from that model year. Without any specific measurement, It's a qualitative statement from an unqualified person. 4) They charged based on a vehicle computer scan. And yet, they provided no details on what the scan might have or not have found. This is not a reliable, professional shop. Go elsewhere. read more

Took my car in for inspection of exhaust leak. They did a FREE inspection and determined that a flex pipe connection to the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. We were referred to Milts by our previous mechanics when we were having recurrent spark plug issues (not because they couldn't handle the job but because they were at capacity at the moment). I am so glad for the referral because Milts has been nothing but easy and honest. They are very efficient with the phones, getting you in, and the check-in process is so fast. So we ended up having to get our engine replaced, and they were knowledgeable and extremely upfront about it all. It was pricey, of course, but labor isn't cheap. We have been going to them ever since. They send you an itemized invoice upfront, and provide you with a detailed invoice at check out. I brought my 2008 VW to Milt's Service Garage because the buttons on my steering wheel stopped working. Although they specialize in BMWs, they did their best to diagnose the issue. In the end, they recommended taking my car to a VW dealership for proper computer programming, as only the dealership could ensure it matched my car's VIN. I really appreciated their honesty. I was only charged for the actual time the technician spent diagnosing my car, not the full hour. Jazz, our customer service rep, was knowledgeable and honest, and I valued his feedback. I have had my car in once for a tire rotation, which they called and said they weren't going to do because I needed new tires. Each time I go in they review what is needed and why.
