The estimate was very reasonable, and the quality of work = excellent! Miguel's Painting Service was able to schedule us in quickly, and the guys were prompt every morning at 7am and ready to go. We were able to hit up a Dunn Edwards ahead of time to get some paint samples ourselves so we could let him know which color we wanted and they would have the materials ready to go. We have a lot of high ceilings and walls to cover. They painted EVERYthing including bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry room, living areas, kitchen, and dining room AND sanded and painted a detailed staircase - ALL in 4.5 days! Some rooms were super dark before, and they were able to do multiple coats on them, no problem. My husband and I were so happy to see everything done. Now everything looks brand new. These guys are awesome! They protected, covered, moved, replaced everything after all was said and done. We especially appreciated that they listened to our special instructions, for example like the color pattern we wanted on the stairs. Just from this one experience, right away we can tell Miguel is a genuine guy with a good heart, and is committed to follow through and deliver 100%. His team was also friendly and polite, and the hard work they put in truly shows in person. What a world of a difference paint makes inside your home! The quality, as promised, was lacking where the high gloss paint was used, and not done to our satisfaction. Yes, there was a problem, but there was also a happy ending! Based on past experiences with other companies, we figured they would push back against our complaints, and move on without rectifying the situation. Luckily, that was not the case. One of the most important qualities in any company's owners, is integrity. The owner here stood behind his work, and had a very experienced painter come back to completely redo the high gloss areas that were done incorrectly. It looks beautiful now! He also explained that since this job, they have taken steps to change some of their practices to improve in the future. Every company should take advantage of learning experiences, take accountability for mistakes, and put the customer first. Stubbins Painting is one of those companies. Dave and the crew showed up exactly when they said they would, and kept in constant communication with me throughout the process of painting my home. These guys did a beautiful job on painting my home. I did a color change, and I have multiple pop-outs and eves. They were very efficient, had a strong attention to detail, and went above and beyond in making sure that my house looked incredible. Dave, the owner, was easy to contact and stay in touch with. He would provide updates and let me know when they said they would be there--and they were there at those times. If I had a question, he would quickly respond with a substantive answer or give me a call. I appreciated that. Miguel and Medina are a fantastic duo and they worked really hard on the details and ensuring the job came out right. I was very impressed. They are also very friendly with a lot of experience.
