The guys did a great job on 2 repairs I needed done because or some underground plumbing I had done and sections of my existing floor had to be removed and then pieced back. The salesman was very knowledgeable and the price was fair for what had to be done. Would definitely use them again. You can't even tell where the repairs were done. Great clean up too. We just moved into our new home in San Clemente, and Oscar was extremely flexible to help us pick out our floors over the phone with some help from friends, so we can schedule the work the day after we arrived. We went with the Oasis Rainbow Collection (wheat) and are so happy with the finished product. Yubini was the lead on this project, and his team completely the entire job in 3 days! They completely ripped our the old flooring, installed the new luxury vinyl flooring, installed baseboards around the entire area, and built the skirt and risers on the stairs (their suggestion) that came out fantastic. I sent out a mass quote request for vinyl flooring. Beach city flooring was one of the first responses, within minutes I would say. I sent some photos and I was able to get a quote. I needed one set of stairs and two bedrooms to have the carpet ripped out and be finished with vinyl flooring. I received multiple quotes, and this was one of the most competitive ones. What really made me choose this company for the job, aside from the reviews, is that they were extremely responsive and ready to start the job immediately. After reviewing the quotes, they were able to schedule me for installation the next day. The workers showed up on time and worked for nearly 12 hours straight. They were able to tear the carpet and move our furniture. These guys were determined to finish the job before leaving, they worked so hard. The floors look fantastic! 100% do not hesitate to hire them to do your floors. We live in Talega and just used them to install 2800sf luxury vinyl flooring. We went to their showroom a week ago, Yubini gave us a quote that day, demo'd our entire tile flooring downstairs Wednesday and had the entire thing done Saturday (7 days from when we first met). Beach City Flooring is awesome! We worked together for my client in Tustin and they were an absolute pleasure. They provided my client with large samples of engineered flooring to view in her own home and she was able to really see the color and texture of each sample. They replaced the flooring and baseboards in the entire 3,250 square foot home, including the stairs, tiles in the bathrooms and laundry room and it looks wonderful! Yubini and his crew are hard workers and take pride in their work. They work fast and efficiently. Edward is my go-to man! Where do I start? On install day they showed up with enough carpet to do one of two rooms. No problem, mistakes happen. More carpet was ordered and the installation of the second room was scheduled for a week later around 10:00 am. Got a text that morning they needed to reschedule to 3:30 pm because carpet still needed to be picked up. At 3:30 I received another text telling me they had the carpet, but the installer had an emergency and he would not be able to make it. Rescheduled for the next morning. When they arrived they were annoyed that they had to move a bed and dresser, even though I was told pre-sale that all we needed to remove from the room was the little stuff. When moving the dresser my wife asked that they be careful and was rudely asked if she wanted to move it. Once the install was finished I was asked if they needed to move the bed and dresser back because they didn't have time to do it. My answer was yes! I can accept their error and need to reschedule, although frustrating, but I don't accept their inability to complete the job that was agreed to and paid for. Don't make the same mistake we made and find a company that understands the meaning of customer service. read more

Worst Customer service and follow up I have ever experienced. Jorge came to our home to give an estimate on 2 bedroom and walk-in closet carpet and tile replacement. He came unprepared with carpet samples, which we requested at time of booking the appointment , we gave color and style choices. He claimed he was never told we wanted samples, he took measurements of both rooms and a sample of our Tile we had left over for the walk-in closet. He said he would come back later that day to leave carpet samples for us to review and chose. He said he would have a quote prepared by the next day and send to us via email. So basically he left us with nothing at this appointment. He never returned to drop off samples and when I called Beach City on Monday to ask about our samples and or a Quote, Yubini answered and said Jorge would be in later and he will have him contact us with our quote. When asked how he would be able to quote us with out us choosing a carpet or padding and with out knowing about the tile he said he will send us a generic quote as a rough estimate then once we choose what we want in carpet he will redo the quote. Personally I never heard of such a thing. So I when asked Yubini about the samples Jorge was suppose to drop off, he said come into the showroom and look there. I asked, so Jorge is not coming back with samples, he said he will ask him once he comes in. So I was basically told you will just have to wait. Well 3 days later crickets, not a peep. The guy took our room measurements and our tile sample and we never heard from him again. The WORST! read more

I gave the exact wood name, number, etc and exact measurements including a drawing of the floor of the closet. Every business just replied to give them a call except Beach City Flooring. I am relating my most recent experience with Beach City Flooring which was a disaster. MAKE SURE TO PUT EVERY DETAIL IN THE CONTRACT SO YOU DON'T GET RIPPED OFF! Things started out well and I really wanted to patronize a small local business. Our sales rep was knowledgable and personable. We were going to have LVP installed in the entire downstairs of our home with the exception of ceramic tile to be installed in the laundry room. After providing measurements, I was quoted a flat price of $700 by the sales rep in the showroom for my small laundry room which included materials and labor. Additionally, I was told that all sq. ft pricing for LVP included tax. When the rep came out to our home to measure, we again verbally confirmed the laundry room pricing as well as the need to lay plywood in a small office to raise the floor up before the new LVP was installed. We were told they would just throw in the plywood item for the quoted pricing of the LVP since it was a quick & easy item. Additionally, we were told it is customary to purchase 10% overage of material in the event repairs were necessary in the future or some items arrived damaged from the supplier. Okay, I get the overage thing. I received the first estimate by email which charged me over $450 for tax separately and charged me labor on the overage of material! Additionally, the discussed and agreed upon fee for the laundry room was listed for $700 but no reference to the laundry room was on the estimate. All along we had been discussing the laundry room pricing of $700. I contacted the rep by phone to change these items by email and went in person to the store to discuss it as well. He agreed that it was his mistake, he would correct it and that he was in a rush when preparing the estimate. He emailed the new estimate out with all the changes discussed except he didn't fix the item about listing the laundry room on the estimate. I went into the store today to correct the estimate and put our deposit down. I was informed that the sales rep no longer worked there (he was there less than 24 hours before when I was at the office). The new rep who was trying to be helpful called the owner and told me that the estimate didn't include the tile material for the laundry room and it would be an extra $320. I insisted that the laundry room needed to be listed across from the $700 line item. When I disputed this, I was told not to worry because we all knew what we were talking about even though the laundry room wasn't specifically listed on the estimate. When I stated that it was a requirement for me to have the laundry room listed on the contract, I was asked to wait for the owner to arrive who was coming in 5 minutes. I waited over 30 minutes and when the owner finally arrived, he was incredibly rude. I was told the $700 charge on the estimate was for the plywood, not the laundry room and therefore there would be another $700 labor charge for tiling the laundry room. $700 for plywood?? I tried to explain what had been previously discussed numerous times with his prior sales rep that the $700 was for the laundry room, not plywood, but he refused listen to me. So the bottom line is, Beach City Flooring increased their estimate by $1,020 when I showed up to place my downpayment. Needless to say I walked out after having my estimate increased last minute by $1020, being charged labor on overage material and charged for tax when I was originally told it was included. It is ironic that $700 happened to be what they were now charging for plywood when that is the amount that was discussed numerous times for the laundry room. At no time were any charges previously discussed for plywood as we were specifically told it was included in the LVP pricing. I wasted a week of my time on this including multiple visits to their office. I am incredibly disappointed with Beach City Flooring. This place had great reviews but I was told that it is now under new ownership. I am not sure if that is true or not but if so, maybe that explains the recent "bait and switch" experience that I had there. I will be taking my business elsewhere. If you decide to conduct business here, make sure EVERY detail that is verbally discussed is listed in the contract. Don't take their word for it! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Billy and his crew. We did a wood floor in our entire upstairs and a staircase. The staircase is wood with tile risers. During the work his crew was on time, professional and neat. They even were sporting brand new tee shirts to complete their uniform. They originally said it would take a week to complete, but they finished 99% of it in four days. The final product is magnificent. During the process Billy was very helpful and informative with his expertise and guidance in relation staircase design and grout color. 5 Stars all the way! read more

Yubini was very responsive from the first time we did a walk through to the last days on our job and even after our project was finished to make sure we were happy with everything. His pricing was up front and fair and he stuck to the budget. We asked for our job to be done in a certain time frame, and Yubini and his team worked extremely hard to meet it. Really professional work and none of the 'this is extra and you need a plumber to reinstall toilets" etc. They also gave us the cheapest quote. They came in in the morning, demoed the old floor and installed the new one all in a day. Amazing. Paint crew came in the following day and painted the new baseboards. I'd recommend them to everyone. I worked with Jorge Moscoso. He was absolutely terrific! From the initial bid to completion of the job it was less than three weeks which included all Demo, new LVP floors, new tile throughout the bathrooms, all cabinets throughout house painted and entire interior of house painted. I was out of town when the work was done and Jorge coordinated everything and kept in touch. I asked him if he could get it done before Memorial Day and he and his crew delivered. I have worked with so many companies that never made their deadlines and fall short but I am extremely happy with the quality of the work and the fact that it was done so timely with no cost overruns. read more
