Afik was one of two who returned my call. He was the only one who actually came to do an inspection. I had originally requested the crawlspace to be dried out and a vapor barrier installed. Afik arrived on time, inspected the area himself, and advised only a drying treatment was needed. Afik was incredibly helpful with our mold issue, which turns out wasn't much of an issue! I called Afik to get a second opinion after another mold remediation company scared me into believing I needed thousands of dollars of work done on our house, and he took a look at some pictures and assured me what I was seeing was just something that was superficial and could be removed with a little cleaning. When I mentioned I had small children in the house, he could tell I wasn't fully reassured, so he offered to come take a look, even though he knew we probably didn't need any work done. When he came, he was super helpful and let me know the best way to clean it, and reassured me there was nothing to worry about, especially since our mold testing report came back clean. If I could give these guys more than 5 stars I would! I hired A2Z to clean up moisture damage in the floors of our second bathroom. Afik, the owner, was great throughout the process, explaining everything and making sure his team had all of the proper instructions for the job. They were able to save our bathroom vanity and kept the wall tiles in tact. The crew members were very considerate and careful about saving all of the fixtures they had to remove and the job was completed on time. They even had to deal with the extra chaos of the major repaving of my street and our narrow driveway. Water damage in your home is a nightmare. We had a pinhole leake in a hot water line under the house that created a mold and mildew problem in the substructure as well as between the floors and moisture barrier (the moisture barrier can only do so much and is not effective against sauna conditions). Afik is a true professional in remediation and a pleasure to work with - he really will have your best interest in mind. Afik knew exactly what was needed and was great with the insurance adjuster, who was in agreement with him from the start - a huge relief. I have been wanting to install a crawl space moisture barrier and after reading all the Yelp reviews I decided to give A2Z Restoration a call. My crawl space suffered from some moisture issues that lead to some fungus issues. It wasn't horrible, but I wanted to have it taken care of to avoid future complications. Afik came out for a free estimate and showed such gratitude for the opportunity. He was very thorough and told me what needed to be done, but did not try to sell me on extra fluff. The other estimates I got were okay, but I felt like the people were in a hurry to get elsewhere. The price for the remediation was great. The lowest estimate for the highest quality work! We experienced a mold situation that no one should ever have to deal with and we finally found Afik after two attempts at mold remediation and third time was a charm. We recently had a hot water pipe burst in our kitchen which caused significant damage.  After interviewing three remediation companies, it was clear that A2Z was head and shoulders above its competition. It was an easy choice to select them. 1) A2Z is respectful of your home.   - Omri, the project manager, was wearing a mask for Covid safety.   - Unlike other contractors who often reuse shoe coverings or put them on the wrong way (putting them on while standing outside the house, thus tracking dirt in), Omri had new coverings and took care to put them on the right way. - Omri was equally careful with the protective gear to go into the crawl space.  He had a new plastic suit.  When he was done examining the crawl space, he took off his gear while standing in the crawl space and bagged the protective suit before coming out.  Other contractors just climbed out and removed their suits on our kitchen floor, flinging dirt everywhere. - Two guys were here doing the remediation, and they were wonderful.  The damage affected a wall of cabinets which needed to be removed.  They removed the cabinets very carefully and left the counter and sink intact, enabling me to use my kitchen once they were done.   2) A2Z is knowledgeable about water damage and is thorough and meticulous.   - Omri's examination of the damage was the most thorough of the companies we interviewed.  He was the only one who bothered to test the kitchen cabinets and walls in our pantry.  His assessment of the damage was the most accurate.   - They created a very secure containment zone shielding the rest of the house from mold and noise.   - They work directly with our insurance company. - They have a third-party company test after remediation to confirm all mold is gone.   3) A2Z is fast. - Post remediation, the mold test came out late Friday afternoon. They were at our house Saturday morning to remove and clean up. - They had the final report prepared and submitted to our insurance on Monday.   For water remediation, A2Z is the only company you should choose. read more

Afik and his team were amazing! They were at my home within 30 mins of the initial call that we had potential water damage. Afik was direct with me about what was to come and did all of the initial coordination with my insurance company. We found extensive water damage and mold damage, but Afik not only made sure that it was completely contained and remediated, but reassured me that everything was safe and I had no need to panic. I would highly recommend A2Z restoration. I found them to be highly professional, attentive and prompt. I believe they charge fairly and don't cut corners, which is the last thing you want when dealing with the issues they deal with. I got Afik's number from A2Z restoration from a friend after having a terrible experience with a different company. You see, I discovered a lot of mold in our bathroom walls and felt completely defrauded and stranded by the other provider. Afik stayed on the phone with me for two hours while HE was on vacation.
