The parking is a little snug and are separate spots for instructors, since this is a teaching school. Checking in with the receptionist was quick, friendly, and smooth. My massage student, River, was great! Asked what pressure I wanted and checked in throughout if the pressure was good. The only thing that made the experience off was the music. The song was fine, however, it seemed like a 30 sec sample song, that would reset. Other than the music repeating every few seconds, the experience was great! Used to love the place and I drove long distance to get there. The student's always do a great job. But the prices have gone up a lot....so it's hard for me to justify the long drive given the price of gas these days. Also, it seems to me they should give a real discount when you pay for a series. Currently, they take off a buck or two, which isn't significant.....there is no incentive to buy a series. I've mentioned in reviews for other businesses that I can understand a reasonable price hike tracking inflation.....but a 20% (or more) increase seems a bit too much. read more

She checked in with me once in a while to see if the pressure wasn't to strong (she's one strong lady!) and it was perfect. She was professional & friendly, and I'll likely ask for her when I go back. This place is a school, so don't expect a 5-star spa experience. I've been a massage client for over 25 years and recently moved 70 miles away from my regular therapist. So, I know a good massage, and I know how vital it is to my overall wellness. When I saw a Groupon to try the student massage therapists for a really low price, and that they would ask for feedback from clients, I jumped on it to see if I could find just the right therapist for my various aches and relaxation. I've only been once so far, and my first impression is A+. The building isn't flash, and the parking is challenging, but once inside, it's professional and friendly and efficient and relaxing. Each massage area is private but not confining. The student (Samantha) who did my first massage is probably near the end of her training, judging by my visit with her. Her communication before the massage was clear, and she paid close attention to my requests. Her pressure was intuitive and her technique was excellent, especially on my feet and back. I arrived at the business expecting great service. The current chiropractor (Dr. Brian) is fabulous and very knowledgeable in his field. I highly recommend him. The only reason I did not give this establishment 5 stars is because I could NOT relax during my 2 hour massage. I usually choose the 1 hr. option, but I decided to pick the 2 hour session because I wanted to treat myself. BIG MISTAKE. The female masseuse is not the one at fault. She's kind and gives the right amount of pressure on my body. I would go to her again. It's the outside noise that was the cause of my stress. I had to politely ask her to tell the people outside to keep their child out of control. The children stayed quiet for a while. Again, my peace was quickly broken. I can hear them running up and down the hallway. One of then screamed loudly thru the halls. Then, I heard the car horn beeped 12 times. 12. Times. I am gonna have to assume one of the youths grabbed the keys from the parent and decided to have fun with it. I heard one of them rebell after being told to behave. The masseuse did her best to keep me calm in the situation. My precious time that I paid for ruined because someone didn't bother to properly keep their kids in line. After my session, the front desk explained to me what happened. They said that a chiro patient brought in 3 boys. I do not hate children. I hate children who misbehave. So, everyone. I'm currently attending massage program and I'm very impressed with the quality of the work and the instructors, "M Dale Campbell". The materials and techniques we are learning with regards to the modalities of massage are all new to me and I am very much enjoying experiencing these in a class/school setting. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable in their teachings and with their experience. Many of them doing this for more than 20 years. Also, they have adequate amounts of patience with the students answering all of our questions and reassuring us with any doubts that we may have. Yes I have to give 5 start this time for the Chiropractic treatment that I got from Dr. Brian. I have never had him treated me before, and it was my first time. I was actually surprised with his attentive examine. He checked everything thoroughly, and I had some adjustments. He paid attention to my complains and symptom especially my neck that gave me hard time to sleep a couple of days. He was able to make feel better the moment I stepped out the clinic. Was not a good experience at this place. She called me back 10 minutes late, took another 10 minutes to adjust the table. Then had the nerve to sit most of the time doing the massage. I know that it is difficult to find a place to get a decent massage for a reasonable price especially one that isn't asian inspired but I believe I found this chiropractic office to be sufficient. I've been frequenting this office for over 7 years and although the price has had a small leap from the original $27 I paid to get massaged by a student (now $35 i think), it still pleasures me to rate this place 4 stars. I always request a male student. I am a hairstylist and my shoulders need alot of attention. Out of the 40 or so visits I've had, 1 was probably a 1 star and that was only because the student was extremely overweight and much older so it was rather difficult for him to keep from breathing too hard. The rooms are small but clean and it is a quiet facility. I've been very good about recommending this place because of the price. I also highly recommend asking for a male student or I inquire at the front desk who is really good so I can book with them. read more

Dr. Maes is the first doctor to ever articulate exactly what I needed to know, from my condition to what I can expect from treatment. I mean, she recognized that many medical terms are foreign to the average client and it was important for her that I actually understand what's going on. If this alone isn't impressive, her work is beyond any chiropractor that I've seen. I can't stress this enough, SHE IS INCREDIBLE!! In her work and in her customer service!! This doctor is the bestttt. I was referred to her after I had an accident and to say she genuinely cared and took care of me is an understatement. I really don't know how else to explain except to say if you are looking for the full package, she won't disappoint. Apart from her advanced knowledge (she is a teacher too!) she was a pleasure to work with directly. Dr. Maes is simply the best. Not only is she a well competent and exemplary chiropractor, but she is genuine and cares about your progress. I experienced tremendous amount of throbbing neck pain from resistance training. I never experienced such in a way ever in my life. As an avid runner, I knew it was something serious and needed a chiropractor. So I got a referral through Dr. Chen who works at the same office and my acupuncturist for many years. After an initial consultation and x ray examination, Dr. Maes worked on me the same day. It turned out my cervical vertebrae was misaligned which caused inflammation all around my neck especially the levator scapulae, sternocleidomastoid and tightness around my trapezius, rhomboids, and scalene. Dr. Maes did a lot of muscular manipulation, myofascial trigger point release and ART. She dug deep in my muscles and it hurt badly but I had to breathe deeply and remind myself to work through the pain. In the end, I'm close to 100% and even better since my alignment is in the right place. I am still in progress with the treatment and I look forward to years of care with Dr. Maes. This place is a massage school and often times, they give great deals such as $20 for student massages either as a special or on groupon. The original price is $29. I worked with Lisa F and she was wonderful and very professional. She checked in with me on time, asked if I needed water and used the bathroom beforehand. She then proceeded to ask about any medical conditions I had and what my problem areas were and really worked to deal with mostly those areas. I had a horrible massage here by a new intern and she clearly was not interested in giving a good massage. She kept going over to her phone to change the song and volume. She didn't massage my neck, lower back, or legs. She was 20 minutes late and tried to end the massage as if she was on time.
