We came here for a tournament. It's a nice facility but I'd pay an extra $5 for admission if the air was turned on.

The AGTTA is located in Norcross, Lucky Shoals Park. They are open Tuesdays (7 p.m.-10 p.m.) and…read moreSundays (12:30 p.m.-5 p.m.). The facility has 18 tables which makes it #1 in GA. I started going there a little over a year ago and I am glad because I actually have a hobby now (and a work out- yes, the sweat is dripping after 10 minutes, so whoever thinks it is not really a real work out then you are veeeery wrong)! On Sundays they have free coaching with their best players who can really change your game. On Tuesdays there is a league (you are rated by the coaches, so it is not the real USATT rating, but fairly close). If you do not want to play the league, you can choose the open play. You will find many great players with ratings up to 2250, I believe (Go, Petro!). Usually the rule is that you "call" a table and then the winner stays. Lately it has been getting pretty crowded, so we have to "call" tables and wait. I am a member and pay $60 per year (juniors- $30, family- $80), but instead of paying the regular price of $5, I pay $2 for open play and $3 instead of $6 for the league. The parking is huge, so you will have no problems with that. The place is associated with Paddle Palace, so they offer discounted Nittaku Premium 40+ plastic balls and other things. The USATT tournaments in GA are held there (I think 3 or 4 per year). I started last year at the GA Games USATT tournament. Not bad for a rookie, but still, I was crashed by a 10 year old- no shame. Ha. It is well organized (Thanks, Brian!) and it feels like "home" to me now. I actually get up from my bed on Sundays (well, not always) and drive there with a smile on my face. This is pure love! My game has improved a lot since I started playing there. I always choose the toughest opponents and they usually kill me, but that is how I get better. I have met lotsss of great people from all over the world who share the same passion as myself. I just wish we had more female players since I am one of maybe 5 I have seen there. Sometimes I need to yell at the guys because they think they do not have to play with me their real game since I am a woman (it is frustrating, I must say ha). Overall, it is my happy place and I think everyone else there feels the same way! Thank you, AGTTA.

During peak hours it can get pretty hectic. There's no sauna like other locations and the gym space is very small. Other locations are better if you're looking for a large gym space.

I have yet to visit a spa, but that is on my list for the future! This Peachtree Corners location is no exception. My son and I traveled to ATL for the PPA pickleball championships this past weekend and we pretty much spent every waking hour at this facility from Thursday when we arrived until late Sunday night when the tournament was over. We spent the majority of our time either playing pickleball or watching pickleball (both on the indoor and outdoor courts due to some rain), but the facility did a great job (along with the PPA) in navigating the large crowds and keeping the tournament going. We enjoyed some food from the cafe, the locker rooms, and of course the courts and the rest of the grounds as well. We were lucky to be traveling with a friend who purchased VIP Parking, so that was a nice touch... and medaling in some of our events helped make the experience even more fun too! Shoutout to Suzanne on the Life Time pickleball staff! If I lived in the area, I would definitely be spending time here more often - likely taking advantage of open play... We hope to be back next year!

This review is for TOCA which operates inside D-Bat…read more Our family has had a mixed experience at TOCA Marietta. When we first joined, sessions started right on the hour and ran smoothly. Over time, though, the start times have drifted -- sometimes beginning 10-15 minutes late and wrapping up early before the next session. It's frustrating not knowing when the actual instruction time begins or ends. Another issue is the inconsistency with the coaching. The coaches seem to rotate frequently, and there doesn't appear to be a clear, consistent curriculum from week to week. Some coaches focus more on warm-ups and running than on skill development, while others (like Odell and Ronaldo) do an excellent job teaching technique and engaging the kids. Unfortunately, we haven't seen them in a while, and switching days hasn't helped us find them again. We've also noticed that while the club doesn't require cleats or shin guards, several kids wear them, which gives them an advantage during drills and scrimmages. It would be helpful if TOCA clarified equipment expectations so all players can participate on an even playing field. Overall, TOCA Marietta has potential -- especially when led by strong coaches -- but the inconsistency in scheduling, coaching style, and structure has made our experience uneven. With more stability and clearer communication, this could be a great program.

Onelife Fitness Perimeter is truly my home gym. While it may seem like there's "not much to review" when it comes to gyms, I genuinely believe not all gyms are the same. Onelife clearly takes pride in their space. The facility is clean, the machines are well-maintained and up to date, and they pay attention to the little details (which I definitely notice). The personal training rates are also very reasonable, and overall, the vibe is exactly what I look for in a gym. You can tell most people are there to actually work out--not just hang around, socialize, or hold up equipment. I really appreciate being in an environment where people are focused, respectful, and using the gym for what it's meant for. If you're looking for a gym that feels welcoming, well-run, and truly built for people who want to move and improve, Onelife Fitness Perimeter is it. I'd also like to give a shout out to the general manager Kamera, she is an absolute ray of sunshine.

Just gave off the vibe he didn't want to be there.
