They walked me through two options: vinyl vs. PPF. And the way they explained PPF just made sense. It wasn't just about aesthetics, it was about peace of mind. Protection from all the elements this car goes through daily. Longevity. Something that holds integrity over time, not just a quick fix. That mattered to me. The owner was incredibly informative. You can tell there's intention behind everything here: not just the service, but the design, the experience, the way they think. As a designer, I pick up on that immediately. It doesn't feel random...it feels considered. And the front desk, she was amazing! I wish I remembered her name. But you know when someone's vibe is just genuine? Not performative, not transactional--just kind, attentive, and actually caring about helping you? That was her. It makes a difference. What really surprised me was the turnaround. Same day. I wasn't expecting that at all! They finished the roof in a black gloss PPF, and it completely transformed the car. It looks like a panoramic roof now--clean, elevated, honestly more expensive. It was such a strong recommendation, and I'm really glad I trusted it. We also talked about window tinting, and after this experience, I'm already planning to come back. The level of professionalism, the clarity, the care--it's consistent across everything they do. When you get PPF you get a followup appointment to ensure everything is curing properly. You can tell they work on luxury vehicles, there's a precision to their standards. But what stood out to me is that they bring that same level of care to anyone who walks in. The workmanship is top-shelf as Danny knows his stuff and is an artisan of his craft, which requires lots of attention to detail. Between Danny and Gena, they run a beautiful shop in SSF with competitive prices on Llumar tint. I recently had to get some warranty work done on my ID.4 as the back window started "rippling" and distorting after only a couple of years, making rearview mirror images harder to see. Gena was able to get the work approved under warranty (it was an adhesive defect), made an appointment and brought the car in and the work was done in about an hour -- I can see clearly out the back window again. I will continue to go to Grizzly Tint with all my future vehicle acquisitions in the future....the best window tinting service in the Bay!

Most of the jobs were for full PPF + ceramic coating of new vehicles, but they've also performed a couple of non-PPF paint correction, detailing, and ceramic coating work on well-used vehicles not eligible for PPF. In all cases, California Detailing produced fantastic results that made the new cars look better than they were at dealer delivery and the well-used vehicles look as close to new as possible. For vehicles that we've subsequently sold, California Detailing's attentive work helped protect their resale value. Even when we don't have big jobs pending, we drop by their shop a few times a year for installation inspections and touch-ups (no charge during PPF or ceramic coating warranty period). In addition to being skilled professionals, California Detailing also have great customer service that easily makes my family and me feel at home during our visits. The car is a two door convertible, so no roof and only two doors to do. The ppf quote came in at $6500. It wasn't the craziest but not the best quote either. Here is the clincher, the ceramic coating quote came in at $2000!! I mean, I thought we got our wires crossed and maybe he thought I meant for a partial ppf or something. Nope, not a mistake. That was a real quote! This guy must be very, very good and applying a ceramic coating. That's to rich and ridiculous blood. Feels like he was trying to take advantage of me. Does anyone, other than someone with a $200,000+ car pay $2000 for a ceramic coating? (For reference, the material requested was for Xpel stealth and Xpel fusion satin).

We had ADS install a PPF wrap and ceramic coat on our brand newly built Porsche last year. Unfortunately, the workmanship has not held up. Multiple areas of the film are being lifted, separating and peeling. Edges were poorly trimmed, sections underneath are coming apart and there are exposed areas where the wrap was not properly applied. These issues weren't something we were nitpicking because they were actually pointed out. ADS did attempt to address some areas on the second visit, but when you are paying thousands for a professional PPF installation, the expectation is that it is done correctly the FIRST time. Having to return to fix basic installation problems should not be the standard. For a premium vehicle, this level of workmanship is unacceptable. When the latest issues were brought up ADS refused to stand by their work. So with other reputable shops available, I urge those looking to skip this one especially if you have a luxury or high end sports car. We ultimately found another shop that corrected the issues properly and stands behind their work.

My partner found them on yelp and with nearly 5 stars, I decided to give them a call. They had the window I needed on hand and could replace it that morning, they work by first come - first serve. I went down there right away and within a few minutes turned over my keys for the repair. They quoted me $155 (out of pocket, without insurance), which sounded fair and honestly unbelievable at first for SF, but I went with it. My sister picked me up from the shop during the install and when she dropped me off she mentioned that she needed her windshield replaced. She got a quote, processed through insurance and replaced the next day. When I get to my car, they had cleaned all of the glass from the seats, cupholders and carpet. They restored my car back and honestly made my crappy day better, quickly. This is not my first window replacement, unfortunately... I have had it happen a few times before, but now I will always call and recommend In & Out Auto Glass. Not only are they the best deal in town for window replacement (insurance or without), but they are fast and will get you back in your wheels again.

Jason had quoted a quick turnaround - 2 weeks for a logo re-design and a total of 6 weeks for the web site to go live. 1/31/2023 - received a quote from Jason at Voco Design 2/1/2023 - I accepted the quote and paid my 50% deposit 2/9/2023 - logo re-design delivered and accepted 3/8/2023 - web site mock ups delivered and accepted 4/12/2023 - invoiced for remaining 50% and paid it The following steps is when everything broke down Between May and June of 2023, either myself or Jason was out of town/country, so we could not finalize. 8/2/2023 - Jason requested access to my web hosting server to start uploading. I have not seen any changes to my web site at all. Since then, I have not been able to get a commitment from Jason or his team. Jason has sent me messages saying he was out of town, medical emergencies, etc which I can totally understand and was willing to wait for him. I had called his office and Tom had responded to look into it, but I have now been ignored by Tom as well. As of 2/1/2024 (one year later!!), I have sent an email to Jason and Tom to just close the project. They can refund me some portion of my 100% paid job, but they have not responded. I have changed the password to my web hosting as a precaution. I am willing to call this a loss and mark it as a lesson learned working with design companies. After calling to ask if I could get my quote, the Owner (I believe) told me that they may "take a pass," on our projects. When I asked why, she said they "do this all of the time." She sent a follow-up email blaming it on their schedule and workload, but I had not even given them a delivery schedule. It was a super disappopinting experience. My advice - if you plan on getting a quote from them for a commercial project, get quotes from competitors as well. Be aware that this company evidently chooses to "take a pass" on projects often.
