Fantastic, professional, inexpensive service. Only $35 to take a family of 4 and 7 suitcases from Waikiki to the airport at 4:30 AM. Was promised a mini van to handle all the luggage and a courtesy call 15 minutes prior to pick-up. Our driver, Chris, called to let us know he would be there a bit ahead of schedule and described his van. He was courteous and helpful, even though we were running a bit behind schedule. I HIGHLY recommend A8 airport shuttle service and will certainly use them again when we need a shuttle in Hawaii. Forget Roberts or cabs - use A8! read more

Call taxi service about an hour before we had to be at the airport because our ride fell thru and they gave a quote over the phone . The driver was early call us to confirm pick up location and even though there was an accident on the way he still got us to the airport on time and the fare was still as quoted. My first experience went well. The shuttle arrived early which was very comforting since seeing some of the other negative reviews of taxis, shuttles and Uber. The flat rate from Manoa to the airport was $35. We didn't make any stops to pick up anyone else. The driver Chris was pleasant and professional. I called late on a Sunday evening for a 530am pickup. I was afraid everything would be booked, but A8 Airport Shuttle answered right away and began the reservation process. Our street address has been changed, but GPS and Internet Map Services have not been updated. I gave the reservation agent both addresses and explained the situation. Sometimes this is a confusing process, but the reservation agent was very kind and detailed while processing the information I provided. The next morning without any issue the driver was right on time - Not early and not late (which I believe is important when departing for a trip). A8 Airport service provided a van in excellent condition and their driver was professional and courteous. Definitely saving to my favorites - I recommend those who travel to and from Oahu often do the same. read more

I Loved them!! They were professional and on time for both pick ups. The first was a pick up at Honolulu Airport on May 12. I had spoken to George and he was our driver. As soon as I landed there was a text message for me to call him once I arrived at baggage. I then called him and he gave me instructions on where to meet him which was a few steps from my baggage carousel. It could not have been easier. He was a great driver and avoided traffic. On the return I called George one day before the pick up for a return. Another driver was sent which he had advised me about and he also could not have been nicer or more professional. I called several hours earlier for transportation from Waikiki to airport. It is flat rate. George, the driver called us half an hour earlier prior to the scheduled time and when we came down, he is already there waiting for us. He helped with the luggage and drives smoothly. Fantastic service! I called the day before we flew and spoke with a friendly man who booked the pickup with ease. No money down or credit card number needed. He said to call when we were at the luggage pick-up and they would be waiting with a private vehicle. When we arrived I called and the same man I spoke with the day before was there waiting. He even walked in to meet us at the luggage carousel. He took us to the pick-up area and led us to a minivan which had another driver. We got to the hotel quickly with no issues. The flat rate was reasonable and there was no Taxi Meter "guesswork" so less stress. The flat rate was $35 for 4 people and $10 for an extra person. This is comparable to other services I checked. I maybe could have saved a $3 or $4 dollars with another service, but the reviews were not as good. One review said there was a charge for credit cards so I made sure I had cash. We used them again going back to the airport and had an equally satisfying, prompt and pleasant experience. The vans were clean and we felt at ease during the rides to and from the airport. Great service! I needed a ride to the airport with my two toddlers. I called this company the morning of my flight and Chris the driver was very nice and friendly. He arrived on time to pick us up and was helpful with all I was caring. The price he charged me was vary fair considering he pick us up at home and took us straight to the airport. A week after I ask him to pick us back up at the airport to go back home, this time there was one more passage for the same price. read more

A-8 is great ! I read the reviews and called them for a pick up at the Honolulu airport. Very professional. I called when my flight arrived and they were in the area and ready. Ray, our driver, was pleasant and offered some suggestions on restaurants and places to go. Its a dedicated pick up so no other passengers. When we left town a few days later I called then again. For years had used another shuttle service until poor service last year. Decided to try A8. Emailed them about two weeks in advance. Receive a prompt reply but did not notice the part about confirming the trip. So no one was at HNL when we arrived. Called A8. Said he was sorry and would have someone there within 20 mins. George showed up and quickly got us to our hotel. On return to HNL again had George. He showed up 10 mins early. Cost a little more but will use them again next year. read more

A8 is great! They should be renamed A1. They are polite, professional, and reasonable. Our driver, Ray, waited patiently for us for over 40 minutes to deplane. The airlines reported that we had arrived, despite the fact that we couldn't deplane because the gate was occupied. Ray was pleasant and helpful. We used this company both ways between airport and Waikiki hotel and are completely satisfied with them. It was easy to book, pick up was on-time, and driver was kind and friendly. With the flat rate ($35), it can be cheaper to use this company than any other shuttle if you have more than three people in your group. The best part is you don't have to wonder if your ride would ever show up or how long your ride would take for picking up and dropping off other people who are sharing your ride. Called at 8pm Hawaii time the day before arriving. Was told no problem and van was waiting for us when we picked up our bags!! Very nice driver and got us to our destination quickly. $30 for 2 from the airport to Waikiki hotel with no headaches. The return to the airport was booked with them. They were too busy so they arranged a cab for us who arrived 10 minutes early and waited patiently for us to get our stored bags. Same price to airport. Pretty much research everything before a trip. This company was highly rated. We found that to be true. They are prompt, courteous, very professional. We booked the pick up at The Honolulu Airport a day before the flight and leaving Honolulu the day off since we had the night owl flight. Their response time was great. Confirmation was within 15 minutes. Ray picked us up both the times. He is very knowledgeable, gave us a brief history of the Island as soon as we got in the car when we landed in Honolulu after asking us the question if it were our first time. It was our first time so we truly appreciated it. It was not a ride share as well so he took us directly to our hotel. When it was time to go home, it was like shooting the breeze in the car with our island experiences with Ray. We highly recommend this A8 period! Don't even second doubt this review, we are not in anyhow related or friends personally with anyone with this company. Just dial them. You get people that answers!
