Drivers attitudes. Not helpful. I'm disabled trying to get help loading walker and some food items in car. Argued and stranded me.

The phone line is closed with the mailbox full. My first driver called and was rude when I asked what the vehicle looked like. For my second drive, after already setting up the confirmation with the correct address, they said they would only pick me up a 15 minutes walk from that original address. All the other local shuttles offered to come door to door so I canceled and rebooked. No problems in communicating with those other companies. read more

I booked a pickup for my family from Kona airport on 4/2 for a ride to Waikoloa Village. Upon arrival, they were not there and it took about 45 minutes on a painful series of phone calls to determine that our ride that was prepaid was not going to happen. The lady said it was funny to her. It wasn't funny to my family or to me. Luckily, we were able to get a cab ride from an awesome guy named Ron. Don't use Speedi Shuttle. read more

I have a mixed review to share about my recent experience with Speedishuttle. In general, I found them somewhat unreliable and expensive as compared to uber/lyft/taxi. On the positive side, our driver was very pleasant, talkative and kind. We booked speedishuttle to get from the airport and back on our recent family vacation to Hawaii. Going in I had understood that this was a shared ride service, however, I did not anticipate having to sit and wait on the shuttle at the airport in Oahu for 30 min for other flights to land and depart before we could leave for our hotel in Waikiki. In the end, an uber to our hotel would have been quicker (no wait) and cheaper. For the trip back to the airport in Oahu from Waikiki I received a call from the shuttle service that our shuttle would be 30 min late. Then received another call shortly later that they would send another and wind up being 20 min early. Ride pickup reliability seemed to be a challenge. Next we flew to Maui and again used Speedishuttle for our transportation between the airport and hotel. Our trip from the airport to our resort area in Ka'anapoli was uneventful. Our driver was on time and waiting for us outside of the airport. He was very pleasant, talkative and kind. For our return trip from Ka'anapali to the Maui airport we had a very negative experience. We received a text about an hour prior to our scheduled pickup from a driver or a private vehicle (not a Speedishuttle) that I assume Speedishuttle sub contracts out to as needed. The driver indicated that his Toyota 4runner may not be large enough to accommodate our family of 5 and all of our luggage and wanted to know if I thought we could all squeeze in and fit. He said we'd have 4 people in his 2nd row. Then he said he was still an hour away near the airport area, to which I replied that there was extremely heavy traffic between our resort area and the airport and we would likely not make our flight. He wound up cancelling on me via text and so I reached out directly to Speedishuttle to understand what was going on. Speedishuttle advised they would attempt to find another local/private driver that might be able to pick us up at our scheduled time. As time went by we really started to panic that we might actually miss our flight home, and so we booked an uber driver instead that was in the immediate area. I reached back out to Speedishuttle to request a refund but they refused, which was probably the most disappointing thing. If they had made it right, I likely wouldn't even be spending my time writing this review right now. read more

Driver was lovely. Greeter was not. After experiencing issues at baggage claima and with wheelchair assistance for my mother, we got to the shuttle and only the very back row was available. I just mentioned the wheelchair assistance. After paying extra for the meet and greet so that my family could have a great experience upon arrival, the greeter told me we shouldn't have been late and that's why only the bad seats were left. Once we made it to the back, she said "oh, someone's mad" in a mocking tone. I know how hard the residents of this island work. This is the only time in our 8 day trip that I experienced customer service that was subpar - actually insulting. We will be taking an Uber to the airport for the trip home. read more

Super easy airport transfer from residence in Honolulu. We were travelling and need a way to get to the airport. Yes, I know there are other transportation options, but we needed one that would guarantee they could take 6 large check-in bags, several carry-on bags, a wheelchair, a walker and 4 passengers. Booking online was super easy. Received confirmation a few minutes later. And when I had a question about our reservations, they responded within the hour of email. Mike (the driver) arrived a few minutes early. He was funny and friendly. I booked a round trip so when we returned, SpeediShuttle was there to take us home. I will never use any other service going forward. Skip the other transportation options and go with SpeediShuttle. They were affordable, helpful, accommodating and very professional. read more

They said that they monitor all arrivals, apparently they are not. They said they would wait for us in the baggage claim area, and now they told us we have to wait outside in heat. DO NOT BOOK THESE PEOPLE!! SpeediShuttle / Worldstar. They are partnered with Southwest. Southwest flights, great. This shuttle service is crap . I booked this shuttle for our family to transport from the airport to the hotel, and the return from hotel to airport. The transfer to the hotel was decent. The driver was nice. However the transfer back was non existent. The small print said that the driver will pick us up 3 hours prior to our departure. (11:10am) which means they would be in front by 8:10. The fine print also says please be ready 15mins prior. Which is approximately 7:55am. At 7:30, I get a call from the front desk informing me that the driver was there. So I had asked them to let the driver know that we will be down shortly. We scrambled to get every last bit together and made it down to the lobby by 7:40. We went to the drop off area and there was no one. By 7:50 I went to talk to the clerk, and they were surprised that the driver had left with out a warning, or saying a thing about being back. The clerk gave me a number to call which went to voicemail, it prompted for a text message. When I had left my information, I was told they had no reservation under my name. 7:55 I called for an Uber. I had wrote an email with my itinerary booking number, asking 1) why didn't they call me directly 2) why weren't they clear about pick up time when they had dropped us off. I had asked for a partial refund, since they got us to the hotel, OR pay for the Uber which I included the invoice so they could see what I had paid. And no response. DO NOT BOOK THIS SERVICE! I booked through Groupon for my boyfriend's birthday because he's never been to Hawaii, and I wanted him to be welcomed to the island with a lei and some local hospitality to start the trip. I called a few days before we got here to confirm the reservation, yet when we arrived, no one was waiting with a sign for us at baggage claim. I had to call, and was told to wait where we were and our greeter would come to us. The surprise for my boyfriend was completely ruined at this point. When the greeter walks toward us, she's on the phone carrying a box, extremely unprofessional. As she gets closer she tells the person on the phone "Hold on one sec." She then gives us the leis, doesn't really greet us in any way, and asks us if we have a rental car. I told her that I booked the shuttle, so I was confused as to why I would need a rental car. She then tells me that what I booked through Groupon was just the greeting and not the shuttle service. Listen, I completely understand that Groupon can be a bit misleading sometimes, but this post was borderline lying. When I booked, they even asked me what my destination was and I had to put in my hotel information. But even still, I'm willing to accept the fact that I messed up by not reading the extremely fine print, and seeing that it was just a greeting. My bigger issue is that it was the most pathetic greeting I've ever seen. There was no real greeting. And after she tells me I don't have the shuttle, she tells me to take an Uber because it's better anyway, and that the shuttle would take around 2 hours to get to my hotel because of all the stops. Horrible. The shuttle service was scheduled to pick us up at the Ilikai hotel on 6/4/21 to go to the airport. Didn't come. We waited at the front pick up area. Neither I nor the hotel valet saw any shuttle come by. We tried multiple times to call the company, no answer. We emailed the emergency reservations contact. No response. Finally after 45 minutes, we decided to just take a Taxi (which was cheaper). I filed a grievance with the customer service team for a refund. No response. Bottom line: this is a horrible company. Don't bother. I would recommend a taxi (readily available in the city, and cheaper). For airport shuttles, use Honolulu Airport Shuttle if you want something scheduled. Avoid this company at any cost. Save yourself (and your wallet) the trouble. We used Speedy Shuttle based on their partnership with Orbitz/Expedia which we thought would mean we could trust them. They were SO helpful when it came to setting up the service and of course, taking our money but when it came to actually receiving the service, we had the worst experience ever. I'll talk about the worst part - We set up the service to pick us up at our hotel in Playa del Carmen at 11:50 (at recommendation from David who helped us set up so we wouldn't be late to the airport). We were told "you should definitely do 11:50am because any time after noon you'll be pushing your luck and make sure you're not late because they have a schedule to keep up with." We were fully checked out and sitting in the lobby by 11:45am so we wouldn't miss the van and then sat there... For FORTY minutes and the van literally never showed up. At all. I called at 11:55am just to make sure they were on their way and the guy told me they were stuck in traffic and on their way in 10 minutes. I called again at 12:15pm (20 minutes later) to see if they had a status because it was cutting it close for our flight and they treated me like I was an idiot and told me "he's going to be there in seven minutes, you need to be patient"... Mind you this was 20 minutes after I was told they would be there in 10. Even at this point I was being super nice hoping the van would pull up soon. Not only did the van never show up and we had to ask the hotel to find us a taxi (at 12:30pm - 40 minutes after pick up time) to not miss our flight but when we called for the last time to let them know we were leaving in a taxi because we STILL didn't see the van, they were SO disrespectful and condescending. They were some of the rudest people we have ever had to deal with and said "if we didn't want to use their transportation that was on us"... 40 minutes after we sat waiting for them to show up. On top of that, they said they wouldn't give our money back and if we tried to claim it with the bank, the bank would make us call them and they would tell us the same thing. Jonathan and Ricardo have no place in customer service, they were so rude, kept interrupting us and raising their voice like this was our fault. And you can see we aren't the only ones with that same experience from reviews on TripAdvisor and Yelp. If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. Ironic that the name is SpeediShuttle. The day before we received an email that our shuttle would be at the airport at 9:50am. When we went to the SpeediShuttle pick up point, the representative told us that our shuttle is about an hour away. AN HOUR. What is the point of booking a time if you're going to be an hour late? In addition, we booked and paid for 2 carseats when making reservations on their site because we were traveling with 2 infants. The kids were already tired from being on the plane for 5 hours and we just wanted to get to our hotel. The rep told us that they are not providing carseats due to covid. I don't know what kind of bullshit excuse that is. Why make it available to book on your website only to cancel it the day of our scheduled ride? We called the company and they recommended that we take a Taxi. My husband was already furious and said I can't put 2 kids in a taxi without carseats. Her response was "oh don't worry, the police here won't pull you over for that because they don't care." We were shocked. It wasn't about being pulled over, it was for the safety of our children! I will never ever use this service again. The customer service was piss poor and the shuttle was over an hour late. Had we had known that they wouldn't be providing us with carseats, we wouldn't have booked through them and would have found another mean of transportation. read more

Hello all. First of all I wanted to say about the pick up on Sunday July 25. We had to wait about 30 minutes after we arrived to wait for our SUV shuttle to arrive. Why did we have to sit outside of the airport for an additional wait until or ride came? That is unacceptable. Once the SUV showed up Anthony our driver was great and made the ride comfortable. Our departure date of Friday July 30. We got a message that our private pick up was not going to be available, so we had to share a shuttle with other families. I payed the extra fee to have a private shuttle for my family and I to get to the airport. With the current situation going on this was not managed properly. Will I be getting some kind of reimbursement for the private shuttle that I payed for? Overall I think you need to get your schedules handled appropriately so that your customers don't have to wait longer than they are expected. I came in on a Southwest flight yesterday that was delayed two and a half hours. When I initially made my reservation, it was last minute and I spoke to a nice woman who made me feel better about the other reviews on here. I think her name was Allegra. The dispatcher - Darlene, was incredible. So ATTENTIVE and caring. She called me twice, as soon as I landed, was very clear about where the shuttle would be (prearranged 4 and there are signs from baggage claim about how to go down and into the parking lot) and when I called back she stayed on the phone with me til I found it. Rommel Hidalgo was my driver, super sweet, professional, informative and fast. This was a better experience than the taxi line, and if sometimes things go wrong, I have experienced that these are very kind people who are truly trying their best. Shuttle driver began calling at 12:15, said he could only wait 10 minutes. RESERVATION WAS FOR 12:45! The company policy states they will wait 10 minutes past reservation time. Got to curb at 12:45 and NO VAN, no further contact. Customer service did not send another van or refund $70 (including tip!) They gave me an email but they never responded. This review is mixed because it really mattered who you worked with. *When I first purchased, the counter staff were super friendly and seemingly helpful. I asked advice on when to arrive at the airport for the first interisland flight of the day on a Sunday and they were adamant that I needed to be there two hours early if I had any hope of making my flight. The airport didn't even open until an hour before my flight and even then they weren't busy. TSA and security officers both told us that was poor advice *I was told to meet Ashly outside and she would help me get on the shuttle. She was rude and condescending to customers. One customer approached her because several people in line after him got on a shuttle before him and she proceeded to verbally attack him. She told him how busy she was and that he obviously wasn't paying attention to check in. The gentlemen respectfully bowed out of the confrontation and proceeded to check his phone. Ashly continued her verbal attack and this poor customer who wasn't even replying or trying to argue with her *the driver was friendly, I'm sorry I didn't see his name tag *I scheduled my return shuttle so that I would be at the airport by 1:30pm but the shuttle was doing continued drive arounds to pickup customers that weren't at the meeting locations. I didn't get to the airport until closer to 2 which left me with little to no time grab food before my flight *during a hotel pickup we witnessed a man beating the crap out of his teenage son including punching him in the face several times, kicking him, violently pulling his legs. I worked on gathering the police phone number and determined I had to call 911 if I was to make a report. The driver tried telling me that hotel staff would intervene if it was needed and it was just the culture of the family in the domestic dispute. It is NEVER acceptable to stand by and watch someone let alone a child get physically and repeatedly injured by another person. This was an inexcusable display of poor judgement. They made us walk to the entire other end of the airport, then said they would call the dispatch only after we had walked all the way there. At that point said it would be 15-20 minutes. After 25 minutes we called again and the person who answered was totally surprised we were at the other end of the airport instead of the baggage claim where we started, but said to wait there and someone would be over in 5 min. 15 min later we called back and they still had no idea when someone would be there. I booked this round trip service from/to the airport. When we arrived, we ended up having to wait in the shuttle for 30+ min, which isn't a big deal but a little frustrating. The one star review is because of the return trip. The service called the day and moved the departure up by 15 min from when I booked, which again is a little annoying but okay. I booked a shuttle for 7 passengers from The Westin Maui to the OGG airport. I got a call a few hours later cancelling my reservation because they said did not have the availability to transport all 7 of us. My first complaint is that I was able to book online then they cancelled because it wasn't available. My second complaint is the man who called me said he would be cancelling the transaction because I had already paid and he stated that it wouldn't post to my account. Well.. today the transaction has posted! So I called and now for my final complaint. The so Am told me it was cancelled but the payment was not going yo be refunded for 7-14 business days! Waited over an hour for a shuttle from the airport. Three groups were boarded before us even though we checked in before them. We were told we were boarded according to drop off location. We sat in the front We were then told to move to the back because luggage needed to be put in the front. We moved and 7 more people were boarded, two of which were allowed to sit in the seats we were told to move from. People need to understand that culturally, when a white person tells a Black person to move to the back and then gives the seat to White people it doesn't sit well. There went everybody's tip. I'm highly disappointed in the service we received. I came with my parents, son and foreign exchange daughter to Hawaii for an unforgettable vacation and their vehicles and employees are less than desirable. While our first driver was friendly and gave good recommendations even she had a bad attitude when we tipped her $30 dollars, rolling her eyes after counting it. That is an approximate 24% tip so it's not like we were cheap. Standard is 15-20% or 4 to 5 dollars per person so we were above standard either way. I received notice that our private shuttle was waiting for us at the Honolulu airport when we landed. The email I received specifically said not to go outside, yet the text said to come outside so that was confusing. When we came outside I approached the lady with the Speedishuttle shirt on and she said to me , "What, who are you?" I told her and she then said, "Fine sit over there," then she walked away. 10 minutes went by then another 5 and then she said, "Your shuttle isn't here yet, you'll just need to wait." We continued to wait another 10 to 15 minutes. Finally our shuttle arrived. I did order the personally package so we didn't have to ride with anyone else as there were already 5 of us and we each had 2 bags and our carry on. The driver didn't offer to help with any bags only opened the back of a less than Par white van and toss our stuff in. She was friendly however so that was nice. Next came drop off. We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki. Now you are the service that they advertise on their website. They shouldn't do this as we were dropped off, not at the reception area where others were being dropped off by cab, taxi, limo and others. No we were dropped of in some weird garage quit some distance from the hotels reception desk and made to walk there with all our luggage. The day before we returned I received a confirmation call for our pick up. Let me tell you, that person should not be making calls if they know nothing. When she called, she wanted to confirm a pick up time of 9:15, my email and scheduled pick up time were 9:30. When I asked her to confirm this she snapped at me, " I said 9:15 not 9:30." She then said pick up was at Hotel Grand Island. I said we are at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki. And she said, "So? We pick up at the Hotel Grand Island." I said to her, "Excuse me, so we need to get ourselves to another hotel is that correct?" She said, "Ma'am I do not know, I only know that sometimes we do not pick up and drop off at that same location, you'll need to ask your front desk, is that all?" I said okay I will find out from our front desk. I was very offended by her rudeness and tone. She should not be making reminder calls if she is unsure how things work. The thing is that it is not another hotel it is the Grand Islander tower which is a tower within our hotel. It was the same location we were dropped off. The driver that picked us up to return to the airport said maybe 5 words to us the entire way. Fine not a people person, but probably shouldn't have a job transporting PEOPLE. But my biggest problem here was the vehicle. First they sent a handicapped vehicle so the drive hand to lower the ramp for us to even get into the vehicle. It was so hot inside and we had to actually ask him to turn on the air. It got so much better when we hit rain on the freeway and my daughter said mom I'm getting wet and I look back to see the top of the vehicle is dumping water on her. Literally raining in water on her. Are you freaking kidding me. I paid $250 dollars and change round trip for the worst service and now for my kids to have water dumped on them inside a crappy vehicle. Luckily for us my son had his hard computer case not his soft one because his computer case was also wet when we arrived at the airport from the downpour inside their vehicle.
