Omar and his crew did a great job on my back yard and front yard. He was always available to answer any questions and explained the construction process whenever I got curious. He accommodated a few last minute changes that came to mind including adding more outside water spigots, adding more trees, extending my side garden to add raised garden bed, and changing my yard after they got it ready for turfing. His team even offered to assemble my raise garden bed and shed. His team gave fantastic design suggestions and kept our project within budget. Everything was communicated promptly and clearly. The cement pour, grading and workmanship was top notch. The retaining wall and the stucco on it matches my property beautifully. My turf front yard with the trees is the amazing. The lights adds a pop to my front and back yard that I could admire for days. Omar's team was here everyday of the week except for Sundays to get the job done. I hired AA CALI Construction for a full backyard renovation, including redoing my pool. While the project initially seemed fine, we quickly ran into serious issues with the pebble tech finish. The surface was extremely rough and actually caused cuts--especially concerning for my kids who use the pool regularly. Omar, the owner, acknowledged the problem and agreed back in October to have the pool refinished. Unfortunately, since then, it has been nothing but frustration. Despite numerous follow-ups, he has gone completely silent. What makes this worse is that even his own vendor--the company that applied the finish--agreed the work needed to be redone and was willing to come back. Omar repeatedly said he was "following up," but never actually coordinated anything or responded afterward. At this point, we're left with a defective pool surface and no resolution. Communication has been extremely poor, and accountability is lacking. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Update: I wanted to provide an update on my experience with AA CALI Construction. They did come back to address the issue with the pool finish and polished the pebble surface, which made a noticeable improvement and resolved the concerns we were having. I appreciate that they ultimately stood behind their work and took the necessary steps to make things right. The end result is much better, and we're happy with how the pool turned out. I am adjusting my rating and only taking off one star due to the delays in communication and the time it took to get the issue resolved. In the beginning of the process Omar did a great job explaining the different financial options when building out the plans for my backyard with multiple cost options within my financial budget.
