We are extremely disappointed with the work done on our home. Since the project was completed, we've had to bring in both an electrician and a plumber to fix multiple issues. The new pantry's wiring kept tripping, and when the electrician opened it up, he was shocked at how poorly it was done--incorrect, unprofessional, and a major fire hazard.On top of that, we had to hire a plumber to reinstall a leaking toilet, and we still cannot use the bathtub because the faucet was installed improperly.This entire experience has been frustrating and costly. We trusted this company with our home, only to be left with ongoing issues, unexpected expenses, and an overall disappointing experience. Would never do work with this contractor. It's been nothing but a headache. It was problem after problem. From being late to inspection causing major delays, to constant errors and finally the cheap work done on the roof causing leak, new water damage and MOLD. After mold testing was done and inspections were made the city pulled the permit due to the roof not being to code and he never came to fix (not that we would want him too since clearly his work is not good) Save yourself and get quotes from someone who you can trust. read more

We wanted a deck built in front of our cedar hot tub and after looking for a contractor to build the deck, we hired H2O Construction located in Santa Clarita. Rich and his team completed the deck in two days. Nearing the end of the project I wanted trim to cover the end of the planks but nothing was commercially available that would look good. Rich created trim moulding on the job site to complete the project. Rich and his crew built a real nice solid and sharp looking deck. Probably some of the slowest workers in the business. My neighbor is almost at the end of week 4 of an approximate 15 feet walkway with two pillars. Some minor work in the backyard. Comical watching how slow they work. Can only guess what the neighbor paid for this. Client on the last day was having to tell the workers to hurry up and finish. Richard is great!! He repaired some outdoor electrical at my home and did a great job at a reasonable price. Came to the house on-time and worked diligently. He corrected one problem and installed a new outdoor socket with a GFCI outlet. About 2-3 months later, the GFCI socket tripped/faulted and would not reset. I contacted Richard who responded in a very timely fashion with some suggestions. When those didn't work, he came to my home immediately, replaced the GFCI and everything is now working correctly. When I asked him what I owed him, he shrugged his shoulders and said nothing! That is true customer service and integrity. I must say the GFCI socket itself was the problem - rare for them to fail but they do on occasion - it was not anything that Richard did that was the problem. Regardless, he stood by his work even when he really didn't have to. There are not enough keys on my computer keyboard to say all the good things I could say about Richard. Rich and his team did a fantastic job for us! This is the second time we have used H2O and we will use them again without hesitation. In the backyard, they added a new pour in place concrete cap to our existing firepit and added mosaic tile facing to it. They built us an amazing new bench for our firepit, which includes pour in place concrete caps, intricate mosaic tile work, and built-in lighting. They also installed a new flagstone patio and re-stained our concrete patio. In the frontyard, they built us a new paver-lined walkway from the sidewalk to the house and constructed two stone pilasters with built-in lighting. We are extremely happy with how everything turned out! Rich and his team have an incredible eye for detail and they did everything they could to make sure we loved the results. They are also incredibly professional. They were punctual and kept a very clean worksite and they were always friendly. Working with Rich and his crew was surprisingly easy- I've always heard that working with a contractor is a complete headache, and Rich was the complete opposite. He did four major projects for us- a complete reroof, a countertop replacement, three rooms worth of flooring, and installation of chair rail throughout our home. He helped us with the design of each project and kept us informed of his project plan. The work was done efficiently, to schedule, and most importantly- beautifully! The service we receieved was personal and attentive. Rich kept in good touch with us and answered all of our questions. I had a subpar contractor do my fire pit. It was leaking fire around the rim. I called Rich out and he assessed the situation and gave me a very fair price to fix it. While here he recommended fixing the posts for my overhang so I would not end up with dry rot. He is a very conscientious contractor and works very neatly.
