UPDATE: I eventually got my deposit back, but I had to get my attorney involved and it took over a year. I would give this company 0 stars if I could. Ariel (owner) and his crew did a horrendous job with our concrete project and are a nightmare to work with. Not only did it take 1 year to complete this project (permit delays due to incomplete paperwork and no-shows by A&A Concrete Solutions), but it was also done poorly. Ariel is very quick to collect deposits and will smile in your face and say the right things. But will give you the runaround, odd excuses, or flat out ignore your calls/messages when there is an issue. There are DOZENS of cracks 2 months after the concrete was poured, edges were left unfinished, & the sealant was applied poorly and uneven (see picture). Ariel agreed that the work was done improperly and he would have it fixed. In addition, he made decisions at his own discretion and did not install the drain we discussed. Now there are pools of water every time it rains. When we pointed this out to him he said in order to fix it we would have to tear up the concrete completely and start all over. It was clear he was not at all involved with the project nor supervised his employees. We have spent the past 3 months trying to coordinate with Ariel to fix the work and the items we discussed. Even after agreeing on dates and times to fix the work Ariel and his crew either wouldn't show up or would show up a different day and time where we couldn't supervise or sign off on the incomplete items. Until this day we have been trying to contact them and they have ignored our calls and text messages. Due to their lack of response it looks like we will need to hire another company to fix A&A Concrete Solutions. We are in the process of submitting a complaint to the DBPR and discussing the best next steps with an attorney. We will not be going away until this is resolved. If you have been affected by this company negatively I urge you to share your experiences on all platforms (Yelp, google, Facebook). Do yourself a favor and hire someone else. We had our porch area stamped concrete, we asked for wood like cement and received a whole different print. We met with Ariel and we were disclosed that the work order did say wood like however, due to their own miscommunication among their men and work order they did a different print. We were told that the only way of fixing it was to dig up the concrete and re do it. We asked for a discount and were told in the event we would like to do our drive way they would be able to apply discount to that section. After weeks of waiting for an estimate on sandblasting and recolor of drive way we've received no response. The driveway was left discolored due to how messy they left the area, the walls were pressure cleaned removing paint from the walls and cement was splattered all over the front door. No coverings were used to cover any area of the walls or doors causing paint damage and ultimately leaving residue that is not removable. Very unfortunate this company handled themselves in that matter. Very unprofessional. read more

I bought a house almost 2 and a half years ago that had a driveway and patio done by AA Concrete Solutions. Ariel has NEVER CLOSED THE PERMIT. The previous owner, an 82 year old woman, came to me in tears yesterday and shared every communication they had over the several year period. She may have lost $10,000 that was held back to close the permit. There is NO EXCUSE to not follow through and complete the job. I have the texts with all of his promises to get it done. read more

But two months ago we contacted you to report a crack in one of the concrete slabs and even though you have answered my texts and called me back, you have failed to pass by and inspect the damage. Reviews for driveway companies are few and far between, but this place had one, so we decided to give them a try. They came in under several other bids, took care of the permitting, and did a very fast job (although the final sealer was a bit delayed when it rained for a week straight). Adrian was very nice to work with and was easy to get in touch with when I had questions. They even came out and put sod around the driveway which I didn't expect. It wasn't professional landscaping quality, but I really appreciated the extra effort! I would recommend them! Ariel came to my house explained my options to fix a botched job from a another company.
