They had closed down u-pick by the time we got there, even though my mom had called and spoke to someone, we didn't know it closed at 1 on Friday. Everything was just okay. Not great. Not awful. Not eager to go back.

We bring our baskets back every year to get our discount, and I always bring a larger woven basket so that I can put two of their plastic baskets in there and it's easier for me to carry I don't try to get more than I can handle. I don't overfill the baskets, but she was adamant that I could not use it despite my handicap of not being able to carry two baskets at one time without help. She kept smarting off and saying rude comments to me as I walked off after leaving the basket at the station. I had a nice gentleman that worked there. He didn't speak very good English, but he was happy to help me and collecting which strawberries we collect as we make preserves for the Children's Hospital here in Augusta and the nurses and doctors. So need to say we buy an abundance of these every year. We go to the counter and realized we did not have enough cash and asked her to hold them and she gave us an explanation of where we could go ways from here to find an ATM to get cash and she has never accepted cash and we should've known that by now. We went less than a mile down the road to a gas station and were able to get the cash for the berries, came back, paid for the berries and continued to get a lecture about how we should've done things differently and been more prepared. Afterwards, she sat a box on top of my iPhone and busted it Without saying sorry I can't believe she did that. Not apologize or nothing but she told me I needed to get my phone off the table. I was not give me a receipt and put my change on the table didn't even hand it to me and said goodbye. Below are the pictures of my month old iPhone crushed.

I love Rosewood Market, and it's really a staple of the local community! I love shopping here due…read moreto the fact that the vast majority of items are locally and freshly made, making it easier to support state farmers and local businesses, and ensuring that your produce wasn't sitting in the back of a truck for weeks before you buy it. They also have a lot of niche items that you can't find at your big-box stores, making it great for specialty-product lovers (in my case, coffee!) like myself! My only gripe, and the reason for four (4) instead of five (5) stars, is that it's VERY expensive. Let me reiterate that I like to support local businesses, and I completely understand that items are not going to be quite as cheap as the major grocery chains; but, some of the products are so expensive that I can't justify spending that much money on them. As such, I can only go to Rosewood Market to buy an item or two, and can't shop there as much as I'd like to. Anyhow, I do love Rosewood Market, and would encourage everyone to at least stop in!

It's such a cute shop located in downtown Columbia. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They have so many alternative food options and herbs to choose from. There was a wall of some of the best herbs out there and their vitamin/supplements section had so many different and rare options that you don't normally see in stores. They also sell local items which is always nice to see and a preference for me when shopping. There is also a hot food section with some really delicious options. Perfect for a quick lunch break. I tried the vegan meatballs which were made with pea protein and were so delicious. They had the perfect meatball texture, seasoned really well, and the sauce that came on it was so good. You also get 3 sides and a house-made sauce, so I choose spaghetti squash, potatoes, and broccoli with the spicy mayo sriracha as my sauce. All the sides had really light flavors in terms of seasoning, but were all still really good. The sauce was also really good. They really fill your plates up so you definitely get more bang for your buck. They provide an outside seating area as well as utensils so you can eat and enjoy your food. Don't skip the desserts by the deli, there were so delicious options that provided gluten free and some vegan treats. I also saw that they offer free yoga every Sunday at 2pm and Wednesdays at 6pm! I will definitely be by for yoga and back to shop more and try more of the deli meals!
