I "shotgunned" out a bunch of Yelp requests for a broken garage door late at night and left a time to be contacted the next morning. I have a rental business and I have used Alex each time the garage door requires any servicing and installation. He has changed the entire system, replaced only the roll-up and replaced door panels and chain links. Today it was a marantec chain link and it is as quiet as a mouse. I was having problems with my garage door not closing or closing only to roll back up. This has been a recent problem and unpredictable when it would malfunction. I called several garage door repair companies only to feel helpless and discouraged. I contacted AA Garage Door and spoke with Alex. I told him the same problem I told the other companies and Alex was the first and ONLY person to hear my issue and advised me when I got home to call him and he could walk me through what may possibly have been a short in the wire. Long story short, got home and Alex ended up coming in person. Lo and behold, he realigned my sensors and did not charge me. If this problem were to become constant and was caused by something other than the alignment, he would come back out with charges of course which would have been and the amount IS VERY FAIR in my opinion. AA Garage Door provides free estimates. I want to pass this on for the outstanding customer service (NO LIP SERVICE HERE). I'd like to thank Alex and his partner (she was also outstanding) and will recommend them highly to anyone that asks. Also, they are a family owned business and I saw the difference in how they handle calling customers.
