I let the owner know what happened, and he had just fixed my neighbors garage converting his Wayne dalton system to a torsion system. Apparently the Wayne dalton system doesn't last long, you get what you pay for and builders love to use that system because it's cheap. Eric said he could either replace my current system for less, or convert the system to a more reliable one. Everything I read online matched what Eric said. He didn't have availability until the next day, 11am but I let him know to please call if something opens up. He called saying he could arrive an hour early which was fine by me. When I realized I could use my home warranty to hopefully replace the opener, he graciously understood and said he would do the same thing if it were him. One of them was no longer working and we thought it might make sense to just replace them both at the same time.
