I received a fill manicure today and I am so unhappy with it that I made an appointment at another salon for tomorrow morning for them to try and fix it. I had a bad feeling right away and became quite nervous when my tech Victoria was on her phone several times during my manicure while I was just sitting there. She was very rough overall and used some type of handled clipper to chop my nails short and square! There is no way to even adjust how short she is cutting or see that they are even! Never saw this type of clipper. Next she filed them such a long time that I was getting even more concerned they would be really short. Next the tech used a regular vacuum to remove the dust from my fingers! I actually had to put my fingers in the vacuum hose ? Never had this done before with a manicure. Well the vacuum must not have removed all the dust because there are hard specs and bumps in my polish. My tech applied the polish so sloppy and uneven. The sides are uneven where she missed them completely. The worst part of the entire experience was how the tech chopped my cuticles! She was fast and rough I have again never had my cuticles chopped at like this ! I felt like she couldn't see as she leaned back and cut at me. I am bleeding from 4 or five of my fingers from this procedure. The final result is a thick ,splotchy ,uneven manicure with several bloody cuts on my cuticles. To preface I have never written a yelp review before but this experience was like no other. I went and visited AA nails 3 days ago. It was genuinely the worst experience I have ever had. I wanted a new set of nails and had my old nails taken off. Instead of soaking the old nails off (as most do) she decided to shove a metal tool in between my real nail and the acrylic at the top. I expressed multiple times as she was doing it that I was in pain but she continued with force. When she got to my right thumb she shoved the tool up under the top of the nail with enough force to crack my real nail under the acrylic, it started bleeding immediately. I was going to get up and leave right then and there (and should've). She assured me she could fix it and apologized. 3 days later just setting my drink in the cup holder in the car the BRAND NEW SET broke off exposing where she cracked the nail. She also had other problems during the service, I asked for black French and after 30 minuets of attempting to do so and constant drilling under neath the nails I eventually just wanted to leave. I told her to just put a top coat on and I'd keep the pink base coat. I wish I knew her name as I have heard great things about other artists at this salon. (They also made me pay for my service before she did the set so I paid for what would be a French set and tipped before all of the issues occurred ) I do not ever break nails and am very cautious with them as I have acrylics regularly. My nail is genuinely ruined and I will have to wait months before being able to get my nails done again. read more

I've been here a few times. Was always happy. Went in on a Monday. The normal woman running the place wasn't there and the manicure ( gel) was over charged. I asked for three coats and kim was upset with me. Couldn't see the real color til the third coat was on. After that Kim agreed it was a great color? Her pedicure was awful. Polish all Over my toes. Then at the desk she told them To charge me extra for the third coat. Not even a French manicure. Just the basics and it was 65 dollars and then tip. I'll go look elsewhere next time. It's too bad. I've been to this salon twice. And while the staff is friendly and efficient, both times I was cut. The first time I was having a pedicure. She cut my cuticle and I bled. She didn't apologize but I truly believe she thought I didn't notice. No big deal. Mistakes happen! The gel lasted for over a month and I was so happy! I went back last week to give this place a second chance. I had both a gel pedicure and gel manicure. I had the same woman. I was cut at minimum 5 times. Twice during my pedicure and 3 times during the manicure. The pedicure left my toe sore from being cut in the same location. Again, she didn't realize that I noticed and did not apologize. For the manicure, pretty easy for me to see and she did apologize profusely. Like I said, mistakes do happen but even at the end, when putting lotion on my hands, she picked up the tool and cut one of the same spots again! And again, more blood. It started to feel intentional. At the end of the day, I still gave her 20 cash on an 83 dollar bill (which didn't really add up, but I was ready to just leave). A little over a week later and the gel on my hands is peeling. Very disappointing. read more

Finally. A pedicure in a salon! It wasn't the best but it'll do. The gal gave a great leg and foot massage but her work was sloppy and I had to keep saying something but there was a language barrier. Please cut the toes straight across. Please don't dig into the sides of the nails. Please don't cut the sides of the toenail otherwise I'll have an ingrown toenail. Please clean up the polish around the cuticles. I finally gave up. $25 for a pedicure!!! I pay $21 for a manicure AND pedicure in San Francisco. The saving grace was I had a $2 off coupon and got to sit in a spa chair. read more

I quietly asked for a women for myself and my young daughter. Was mocked for it. Everytime I go I end up with the older gentleman who is so rough and my nails are always sloppily done like he is in a hurry, I try not to try say anything about him hurting me because he gets mad. Hence why I went back a 2nd time around..... I went back for a dip manicure today and had a completely different experience. My nail tech was frantic and rushing through my manicure and didn't do a good job. I have the dip powder all over my fingers left over and she was so rough It was not enjoyable at all. Came as a walk in for mani/pedi and was taken care of within 15 mins. I had the privilege of having Chris do both my mani and pedi and he did a fantastic job. Listened to what I wanted, and is a perfectionist, which was appreciated. My real nails have a beautiful gel polish that will last me through the holidays :) Very happy will return! read more

She told me classic for $15 and $20 for deluxe and then told me the extra $5 was "definitely worth it" Long story short the classic is $25 and deluxe is $35 BIG DIFFERENCE. I said " I know, but I can't afford that right now. The gel will be fine". What do you think she did? SNS! When I checked out it was $50. One time before that I had a pedicure that she did. I asked her to file down to nails. She said "no, they don't need to be filed". I said "I should have done it myself before I came in". Reluctantly she did what I asked. I had my lips fully tattooed by Neon last week. My natural lips had all but disappeared. Neon chose the perfect color and did a terrific job. Neon did my permanent eyeliner several years ago and it still looks great. I can't recommend her enough for any permanent makeup. read more

This place is great. Came in as a walk-in for a pedi while my friend got a full set. I opted for the AA deluxe pedi because my feet needed it so bad. This option also includes a glass of wine ($55, worth the price 100%!). The woman who did my pedi did not speak much English, which is totally ok- she was so attentive and kind and did an amazing job making sure my feet were perfect by the time I left. If you're like me and have a lot of callouses, sometimes getting a pedi can be a let down when they barely do anything to make sure your feet are smooth and callous-free.
