Quick response and the driver was friendly and helpful in explaining certain issues to watch for. And it was a decent price too.

Do not work with this contractor…read more I hired them to perform site work for a manufactured home. The owner/principle argued with me at every step. His methods of performing work are unorthodox, to say the least. The company is in need of cash flow, and they bill whenever they need some, unlike most reputable contractors I've worked with who bill monthly. His crew does sub-par work. The do not know how to pour concrete in wet, cold weather. He will argue with you that the concrete is fine as you watch the entire surface spall night after night, the edges crack, and melt in the rain, causing the aggregate to loosen as the un-set cement dissolves. The curtain wall they set will be crooked, and only halfway mortared. He will not do what he says. You will have to pester him and pester him. He will say he will call you back, but days will go by and you will have to keep calling and leaving voicemails. Then, when your project is nearing completion, and you require him to perform work that has been un-done for weeks, he will argue with you, but under duress, agree. He will then call you back five minutes later, say that actually he's NOT going to do it, and just quit on you. Chuck Westfahl at Coast Construction is not a reputable man, and he runs a disreputable company. I have had nothing but trouble and deeply regret contracting with Coast Construction of Ferndale, Washington.

At the time, he said he had a small truck, which he did, and that he would have to make two trips. I knew that meant it would cost more, but, I thought I could help out a new guy. Then it all changed: I called after he'd built his new store to repeat one of those minor tasks, and he tried to charge me $300 for a job he'd done before for $25. Then I noticed he bought new trucks, both of them small. So, the small truck excuse is just a scam to charge unknowing or kind people twice what it should cost to pump out. Not only will this guy over charge for anything he might offer to do, it will be far in excess of what the competitors will charge, and you'll only get mediocre results. Stay away from Envirotek

(I really wish I had come to Yelp first to see these poor ratings, that would have saved me some…read moremoney and time) 1. Poor communicators. Unresponsive, requires multiple follow-ups to get a response. Still waiting on questions from our inspection, although that's a moot point now. 2. Will put things on the inspection report that are questionable at best to scare you into paying for their just big enough to be tough but doable scope of work. The hope being that the homeowner doesn't know anything about septic and won't question it. I don't want to run through the whole narrative of the poor communication, because it's not as relevant as #2 here. After our inspection we had three "Deficiencies" filed with the county. I wanted these resolved to be in good standing, but based on some of the language in the report, and the easy self-fix on one of the deficiencies (something that if I were the inspector I would have simply fixed on the spot), I had some questions and I sent those back. Instead of getting an answer to any of my questions I was sent an estimate ($2200) to fix all of the deficiencies and to do a portion of the recommended work. We sent a follow up email saying that we needed our questions answered. They sent another reminder to approve the invoice. None of it felt right, so I called up several other local service providers and described my hesitancy. Without me having named who I was working with, two of them called it out immediately based just on what I described. Basically, this company has a reputation for fleecing the people of Camano. The new tech came out and walked the whole system with me. He confirmed that the deficiencies and all but one of the recommendations were either nothing, or something very easy to fix that they would have just fixed during the inspection. The service call cost a fraction ($400) of the estimate from Envirotek ($2200).
