I want to thank AA Same Day for their quick and efficient service.

Very poor communication, and poor service! Garage door springs broke and they said it would be better to replace with one spring. Guy was on his phone speaking another language the whole time he was here doing the work. Now two months later the garage door won't close again. It was the weekend when I called them again, so they said it would not be a warranty call unless I waited till during the week. So I disconnected the spring so I could at least shut the garage door for the weekend, it would not shut at all. So when they finally came during the week, they said the garage door was broken, they could not fix it, and charged me a $85.00 service fee for reconnecting the spring, but would not fix the door so I could open it again!!!! They just wanted $900.00 to replace it! I talked to the manager to try to get a different answer or at least not have to pay $85.00 for them to tell me it was broken, but got NO WHERE!! I try not to ever leave a bad review, but this was ridiculous! I called another company, texted them pictures, and they came out that same day and told me they could fix it. Next day he came and did the repair, offered a one year warranty, and now it works better then when AA originally "fixed" it! Try Pedro & Sons, he was way better, very professional, and saved me $400.00. Again. Do not use AA Same Day Garage Door Svc - tremendously poor service and zero quality. Service date May 21st, 2021. AA Same Day Garage Door Svc replaced a door spring on a small garage door (8' wide by 7' tall, single spring door). Immediately after the tech left, I opened the door to test it, the door opened and closed, but didn't see normal. I opened the door again and attempted to close. The door made a noise and jerked out of alignment as the cable came off the right side drum. The door shuddered closed and wouldn't move after that. I called AA Same Day Garage Door Svc and made them aware and requested the tech return to remedy the issue. No doing, for some reason this was considered warranty work and had to be scheduled for a later date. At this point I requested service the following day, 5/22/21. Again no doing, this was a Saturday and AA Same Day Garage Door Svc doesn't perform warranty work on Saturday. AA Same Day Garage Door Svc said if they send a tech out on Saturday, they have to pay the tech an emergency service fee. I explained it was an emergency for me as they worked on the door and I paid in full and their repair didn't last 2 complete close cycles. Got the run around at this point "I can't promise the tech will be there tomorrow, but I'll call you later to confirm" and "if the tech doesn't show tomorrow, he will be there Monday, I'll call later today to confirm". Never received a call and the tech didn't show Saturday or Monday. To date, I've had no follow up on their responsibility to complete the repair on my door. To end the malarky, I completed the repair myself. The right cable drum was removed and replaced by the AA Same Day Garage Door Svc tech when the spring was changed. The cable drum wasn't properly positioned and the right cable was loose when the door was completely open. I corrected this deficiency and then re-tensioned the spring. AA Same Day Garage Door Svc had adjusted the spring tension so the door would slam closed from half open position if disconnected from the door closer. This is an extremely dangerous condition that AA Same Day Garage Door Svc exposed my family to. The door should actually stay in a half open position. A simple spring tension adjustment made by myself, the homeowner, corrected AA Same Day Garage Door Svc improper and unsafe installation and adjustment process. To date, a representative from AA Same Day Garage Door Svc has not contacted me to complete what they call warranty work for the repair I paid for on 5/21/21. Michael Benfer read more

I had an appointment set but technician never showed up. I called and a guy named Carlos picked up and said that someone set the appointment incorrectly, which was odd because I received an email confirmation and I made sure I had someone home waiting for them to show up. It's sad that there is a lack of professionalism and ownership to errors from this representative. The job is Customer Service which means that serving the customer is the one job. Great & honest service. I had a very old wooden garage door and I brought out 4 different companies to look at replacing the motor- the first three all said great prices for a motor, tried to sell me on tracks too (which needed to be done anyways). When AA Same Day came out- they were the ONLY one that said to me "hey we can replace the motor but we're going to be out here in 6-12 months again- your problem is your door, it's way too heavy. So either a really powerful motor or a new door...or keep replacing light motors because the door breaks them." A few calls to contractors, handymen and family and it was confirmed: AA Same Day was being 100% honest. I appreciated that so much. Their pricing was also remarkable. Anthony and Jhavante just finished the installation of my new garage door and motor. It was a custom order and arrived in the time it was promised. The door is extremely well built. The installation took about 2 and 1/2 hours and the door runs and fits perfectly.
