I have to praise Rami, who came to look at my garage door today. He looked at the door and the first thing he asked if my door had been repented paint. I told him yes. He told me that was my problem. My garage door had a bunch of cracks in a few panels from a family member backing into the garage. I had united garage doors replace the garge door as well as install a new gargae door opener and they did everything fast and professional. I wish there were more stars to award United Garage Doors, Inc. They were perfect! I phoned a few companies I found on the Internet and their prices were all over the place, to include a service call charge AND trip fee from a single company. Their prices would depend upon the weight of the door, my zip code, you name it. When I spoke with Rami at United, he gave me an upfront price for my torsion springs replacement, which was less expensive than buying one (1) spring from the competitors. And, United didn't charge any service fee, gas fee, trip fee, etc. "Mo" arrived within 2 hours of my call and did a terrific job replacing the torsion springs, explaining everything to me along the way. We are so happy we went with a family-owned establishment that has been in business for over 30 years here in Central Florida. read more

I called United Garage Doors yesterday afternoon, along with 3 other garage companies. From the get go UGD was very honest, detailed and was not hesitant to give me pricing over the phone. The other 3 companies where very hesitant to give pricing. UGD came out the same day and fixed my garage door. The tech was very knowledgeable, he showed me the broken parts, took the time to explain and show me what he was doing. He even when out of his way to adjust other things my garage door needed with out me asking. Companies like UGD are one of a kind, you can tell they take great care of their customers, use quality products and are not just about making money but about doing the job right. Quick, friendly, and reasonably priced. Needed service done to my garage door due to a self inflicted incident. Called the company right when they opened and they were at my house that morning. They diagnosed the problem and stated the price before they fixed anything. Reasonable price so we went ahead. He fixed the garage door within an hour. Runs smooth and he gave us tips on maintenance and preventing certain issues. Very very impressed and would definitely use in the future for any other issues. read more

I had them install a new garage opener on one door and new springs on two doors. They are extremely over priced. Their cheapest opener is $325 (1/2 hp, chain) compared to $150 at Lowes. Their springs were $140 compared to $30 at Lowes. I take it that some of the cost is labor built-in, but they also charged me an additional $65 for labor. I regret having them fix my garage door now. I will never have them come out again and would never recommend them to anyone. If you subtract the difference in price of what the comparable stuff at Lowes costs, that means $185 (opener) + $220 (springs) + $65 (additional) = labor was $470. The technician was there for 2 hrs 15 min. Do you think that time is worth $470? I don't. That's more than a doctor would make per hour. Next time I will find a cheaper company to go with. My garage door spring broke, and at 7 a.m. I started to call around for quotes. I received three quotes that were over priced on last attempt I called United Garage Doors and I was a great price to replace both springs, and he told me he can be at my house in 45 minutes. I went home to meet him and once he looked at the broken springs he noticed that Inhan shelves above the garage that did not allow enough clearance for him to replace the springs. He ask how long would it take me to remove the shelving, I told him I can remove it after work. He scheduled a return appointment for next morning. Once he arrived he was able to replace the broken springs, he even made some adjustments to arm bracket without any extra charge. When it comes to great price, great customer service and professionalism I highly recommend United Garage Door Inc for any garage door service. read more
