We used another company prior to switching to Best Self Self Storage and was unhappy with the other company's service from persistent billing issues to cleanliness of the property. Best Self Storage is immaculate, not just the individual units but the entire property and their staff are truly nice people. Upon moving my property out of the unit, signing the vacate notice, leaving the unit empty and clean the regional manager "Sam" charged my account for the storage fee the following month after I vacated. I called them to make them aware of the error. They were pleasant at 1st and reimbursed my money that morning, however that afternoon they again charged my account for the storage rent. I spoke to them on the phone through out the week as well as went to the business to try to resolve the issue. The manager " Sam" became very rude and nasty. He said " I reimbursed your money, why would I need your money I have a 35 million dollar business." I showed him my bank statement where he double charged my account in 1 day. He became extremely obnoxious and said " Lady I told you I make millions of dollars a year, I don't need your money, I'm not reimbursing you" he refused to place the money back into my account. I'm paying for empty unit 7113. I'm sure he's robbed other's to make his millions. Pathetic!

She personally drove me to my unit in a golf cart since I was worried about getting lost. When I realized I was going to need a bigger unit she happily helped me get a different unit that same day. All around a very relaxed and welcoming experience. The price is the best around too.

They moved things incredibly fast and were very careful with our things. 4. They didn't charge us any extra for the 2 big things we added to the move despite us telling them upfront that we were willing to pay a bit more. 5. They were super courteous and willing to move things twice at our destination when I was not sure where I wanted things to go. 6. They got done really fast, got rugs to lay down to protect our carpets from tracking and saved us a bunch of money. All in all, I would highly recommend them and would use them again if I ever need to move.
