I went to Studio Smog yesterday and Vic took good care of my car. It was fast, quick, affordable…read moreand hassle free. Vick knows his job well and was very professional, approachable, personable and friendly. It only took 15 minutes, and not only he did a professional, smooth job on my car, he noticed that I had a leak and highly suggested that I take my car to a mechanic and get the leak fixed which is coming from a water bleeder. My car is old, and I wish he could have fixed it. He said, if he could, he would. They only do smog check and that is about all. Place is CLEAN, few chairs to sit, and work is done/complete! He made my day and I left the shop feeling fulfilled and happy. Thanks Vick. Will be back a year after; since as we all know smog check is required every other year!!

I went in for transmission fluid change earlier in February in my Toyota Camry 2018. I bought OEM Toyota transmission fluid and asked Joe to help do drain and fill.The drain and fill was completed. After that there was a rough driving issues started. I went back to show my car to joe and he drove the car he told me he don't see any issues. I wanted him to check transmission fluid port on if there is low transmission fluid he didn't agree and told me I might be overthinking. I went to different mechanic in April and he checked. I paid $100 to reopen the port for transmission fluid and what we saw was no fluid came out from the primary port. He added 0.5 quarters left. The issues I have had for rough idle and need to have higher RPM on slope went away completely.According to him you have to keep the car running when you drain the fluid and you need to have it at the right temperature he said the drain and fill wasn't done correctly that's why there was still room for fluid. The viscosity of the fluid makes a difference in how much you can fill and drain. He double checked for leakage and there were no leaks either. When I went to joe and asked about don't you have to keep car warm to see if temperature is right? He said you only do it when there is a leak. I don't think Joe knew enough about mechanics of New car. I wasn't overthinking when I went to ask Joe for help and asked to recheck the transmission fluid. I paid $260 for labor only( $160 to Joe and $100 to another mechanic) for same job. It's really absurd. Overall this could have damaged my transmission. I think for future the customer advise should be taken seriously. I know my car well so I know when it's not acting good. I have been driving it from 10 years.

He's very trustworthy and doesn't overcharge you and he's very very good. Never once had a repair gone wrong with him when we take it in. Last year he did the timing belt and axles on my moms 99 Accord. When we couldn't do it due to not having time and did a lot of repairs to get it passing smog. I'd highly recommend him to anyone.

Not sure if it's because of the change in location but that price is significantly higher than anywhere else in the area. Opted to go elsewhere and spent less than $50. Leaving this review because I do remember the great service, but the price hike unfortunately sent my business elsewhere. There seems to be a reason for no price ranges listed anywhere.
