I came in for a smog check that should've been quick, but a small delay put me at risk of missing my dentist appointment. Instead of brushing it off, the owner immediately handed me his Mercedes keys and told me to take his car so I wouldn't be late. Who does that anymore? My appointment ended up running almost four hours, but when I called to let them know, they told me not to worry and to take my time. When I came back, my car was ready, done right the first time, and they even asked how my appointment went. That moment showed me this wasn't just about business it was about genuine care. They're not only some of the most honest and humble people you'll meet, but also incredibly skilled at what they do. Everything about their work reflects professionalism and pride. This is hands down the best smog and repair shop I've been to. From the moment I called, they were professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful. I've been here a couple times over the years, since smog is required every two years for my vehicle. I knew Dave from another shop I used to go to and once I found out he was working here, and it was literally just down the street, it became my go to smog shop. Pretty easy and efficient service and if something needs to be adjusted on the car to pass, they have mechanics on site. The prices are pretty standard and fair. read more

I have been coming here for a few years. I have always dealt with Jon as I ask for him personally. He is always professional, gives me detailed answers I need, is always prompt and always, very courteous. It is always a pleasure to deal with him hands down. You can tell that he truly does care about his customers. I will not take my car anywhere else to get my smog test done and highly recommend to my friends and neighbors. I just wanna start off by thanking Chris and the mechanics here. They helped me out a great deal with my car situation. I needed to have my car undergo a vehicle safety inspection so that I can get a salvage title from the DMV. This type of serous hard to come by and not offered in a lot of places. So I was very happy that they were able to help me here. I had mentioned that I was in a tough spot and most likely would not be able to go back to that area with my vehicle and they were very understanding and did not turn me away. I was so thankful for that because otherwise I don't think I would have be able to find a service like this around my area. The value of work and time put into the vehicle inspection they do is great and well worth the price. You get a peace of mind knowing your vehicle is safe and certified to continue the salvage title process. I would definitely recommend coming here if you need a vehicle safety inspection or other work done because the people here are good hard working people. This place is a scam I would recommend no one to come here please. I came for a break light inspection which they charge 200 dollars and after 20 mins the guy comes out that one of the rear lights are not working, I said ok cool I can go change it, but the catch was it's 75 dollars more if he has to reinspect it and 30 to change one bulb. And last time I came for a light check they charged me 140 read more

Went in to do a smog check and the men from smog recommended I have a tune up. So, I went to the mechanical guy next door for a tune up. Usually a tune up will come with Replace belt, Oil change, Air filter ,Spark plugs ,Coolant, Liquids, Brakes etc. I came to find out that Mike the mechanic did not do anything to my car and only did an oil change. As a person who knows nothing about cars, they took advantage of me and charged me $250 for a tune up that only consisted of an oil change. read more

Came in, no one greeted me, I think the guy doing the SMOG check was smoking weed, I saw a lighter and container next to where I was sitting. I was charged $60, which I thought was expensive. Got the job done, but I am not going back there. read more

I gave this place 5 stars because of how well mannered everyone was here. See Jon he helped and explained what i needed to do to complete my registration after the smog test was complete. I didn't have to even go back to the DMV because he sent over the smog test electronically directly into the DMV system. read more

I will be using Mr. Smog Stop for all my future smog checks. I was in and out in probably 10 minutes and everyone was super friendly. I highly recommend this place! Its also at a gas station and very clean. I prefer this type of location over some of the crowded "mechanic malls" I have been to in the past. read more

I stopped by and was seen right away. The gentleman who greeted me was courtious and smiled. Right away he started to help me. I was lucky too because I came at around 6:15 I have known places to turn you away if you come on close to closing time. Very friendly quick service! Will return! read more

Just stopped by for a smog check on my vehicle on 10/3 and it was a flawless experience. Very professional and quick. I paid 80 for the smog check. A little pricier than quotes I've gotten from other places, but it was well worth it for the convenience. Would stop by again! read more

Last minute smog was needed I came in with no appointment. The service was excellent and the shop was cleaner than most shops I've seen. I was out of there in 10 minutes! I will NEVER consider going anywhere else. Cool seeing Jay Leno get his Corvette smogged there too! read more
