Incredibly friendly staff! I came here on the most urgent whim knowing my registration was due at the end of the month, and this was my only free day. I drove up with no wait at all. The men working here were very quick and made sure I was out in less than 15 minutes. Fantastic local spot and great price as well! I am very happy with my smog check service, and I will be sure to come back in the next two years! Thanks guys for all your help and getting me out quickly. In and Out smog always does such a good job smogging my 1999 Subaru Forester. Not every smog place has the equipment to smog a car that old, but they do, and they always get us In and Out (lol) in twenty minutes or fewer. They have a pleasant waiting area outside in the shade and make the whole process as stress free as possible. read more

I recently paid off my car and was preparing to sell it when I realized I needed a smog check to transfer the title. I called around 10 a.m. on a Saturday, gave them the make and model of my car, and was told it would be $60.20. The shop was only five minutes from my house, so I drove over. The process took about 10 minutes total. The gentleman who helped me, Coco, was extremely pleasant, friendly, and made the whole experience seamless. I was in and out in under 15 minutes. Amazing. From pull max in the lot to pulling out: under 15 minutes. Zero wait. (2:45 pm on a Thursday) Cheaper than 2 other places I checked out. Great customer service, super organized. My wife and I took in our cars this morning. We were quickly greeted by Raffi. We left our cars turned on while the technician performed the smog check. Raffi offered and brought coffee for my wife. Both cars were done before my wife was done drinking her coffee (10 minutes). Better yet, we received a $25 discount for bringing two cars at the same time (their website offers this online coupon). I had given these guys a FIVE STAR REVIEW over a year ago, and just got an email from Yelp telling me they were removing the review because it didn't say enough. WTF. I had put the word "GREAT!" and Zvone at Yelp said it didn't describe a "firsthand experience." Um yeah Yelp, saying GREAT was my experience. So here you go... now a lengthy post instead. The In & Out Center is very reasonably priced facility, and there's usually a coupon on their site to make it even more affordable. I truly was in and out of there in under 30 minutes. The guy working there was friendly and polite, but really, with a smog test place, you just want it quick and cheap, and you want to know you're going to pass. He knew how to do the smog check to increase the likelihood of passing. In fact, when I called them to make the appointment, they told me to drive the car for a good 20 minutes to get it hot, to help ensure the readings would be in my favor. GREAT! It was GREAT. It was GREAT. I recommend it. read more

The reviews don't lie! This place was great. The staff was friendly. They did their work quickly and with expertise. I don't even think I was there for 20 minutes, and I showed up without making an appointment. Another reviewer mentioned that they offer you a chair in the shade, and they have a powerful fan that keeps the room pretty cool while you wait, and they did that for me, too. Cool guys. I was going to go to Pep Boy's on Olive for a smog check, and they fumbled around, saying their worker was sick after I already made an appointment, and all sorts of junk. I promised myself I'd never go back to Pep Boys. So I gave this place a shot, and I'm glad I did, especially because they specialize in smog checks...if that's all you need, why go anywhere else? I never shopped around much for smog check stations, and typically went to whatever was close to my house and had a coupon. I was in a hurry to get a smog check one late afternoon after work, and In & Out had good yelp reviews and was in the area, and still open, so I decided to give them a try. I've been a repeat customer ever since. The experience is exactly what it should be for a routine necessity like a smog check. Convenient, FAST, friendly, comfortable, and easy! Yelp reviews are bought at this business for a 10% discount which is why the ratings are high. I did not know about the discount when I was a customer. I was unhappy with the pricing which is why there was an original 1 star review. Even with the 10%, it's higher pricing than nearby businesses. Nearly double. I got an immature response from the manager so I'm updating it with a 1 star still. I still remember my experience on this day with them so I stand with exactly what I said before. I won't be bought off for a review and this is a "real" review. read more

Superb in and out service. There is no time wasted here. Just 2 service men on staff when I was there. They shuffled every customer in and out very efficiently. They are polite. This is not a fancy looking shop and there's no air conditioning but you can sit in the shade. The $10 savings is great, too. But they are worth their base price for efficiency alone. Highly recommended -- unless you require a plush air conditioned waiting room. I'll forgo that for this level of service. :-) read more

this place has to be the best smog check station in town out of town you name it... i pulled in to get a smog check and the gates were closed i was in dyer need for a smog and these guys were so nice to open back up just for me.... i don't care what anybody says that's excellent customer service i would recommend this smog check station to everyone ... the gentlemen were very nice and quick... this had to be the most painless and quickest smog check I've ever had. These guys are amazingly fast professional and very precise with there time limit they said I would be IN & OUT in 15 minutes but it felt like I was out in 10 minutes... super friendly staff smiles from ear to ear i'm definitely coming here for my next smog ... for all my smogs for that matter and will for sure be recommending this place to everyone I know. I had my daughter's Honda Civic VP 2010 smog last 08/13/16 (about 8;39 am). Vic immediately greeted us gave us details about the process and had the car pull in. After about 10 mins or so, Vic said it's done, it passed. Paid it, printed the paper works & copy of smog certificate, Very efficient, it so fast. Great work Vic, great place to do your smog. Wow! This place is awesome! I read the reviews, printed out a coupon and decided to check it out. They were busy today. Two being tested when I got there and 3 more behind me after I pulled in. They were fast and the two gentlemen working there were nice, and polite! I highly recommend getting your smog test here! I will definitely go back next year for my other vehicle. read more

I've been coming here for years. The guys are real quick, thorough, and less expensive than the competition. Your test results are immediately uploaded to the California DMV while you are there. Parking is a challenge. You may have to park in the residential area until it's your turn to test your car. I highly recommend this business. read more

So theres a new law in California that says you need to smog check your car when you sell it. Pain. I came across IN & Out Smog Test via my iphone app and read that they give you $10 off when you mention yelp! The service was really fast and very friendly and fairly priced. Absolutely nothing negative to say. read more

I have had several vehicles smog checked here and have always been satisfied with the service received. If a car did not pass I was given a suggestion or recomendation on what the problem could be and passed on the next attempt. Ed and his crew are super friendly. read more

Pulled up at 1:00 PM on a Monday. Drove right in, and ten minutes later my car was done! Friendly atmosphere and a clean shop. Plus it's the cheapest smog inspection ever. Go here, and nowhere else. read more
