These guys can get out there the same day, very knowledgable and helped with a couple other small things with my fridge that I never would pay someone to come out for. Also did some routine cleaning without even bringing it up. Pricey but every repair company is and they're not nearly as bad as the other guys out there. They are there on time and great about giving you a quote before doing any repairs. Jamie has done multiple repairs for us and we've always been happy with his service. I called AAA appliance repair to come take a look at a refrigerator that wasn't getting to temp in the freezer. When I called they were not interested in the model # of the fridge and said they would send a tech the following day. I was met with a rude tech who came to my house, opened the freezer a few times & said he thinks it's the control board. At no point did the tech pull the fridge out of its cubby, at no point did the tech inspect the fan or wire harness for the freezer, at no point did the tech even look at the control board which he claimed needed replacing, all he did was open my freezer & confirm what I already knew (that it wasn't getting cold) he said he would see if the control board was still available/discontinued & would follow up. They called this morning to let me know the part was no longer available & nothing could be done. I paid $100+ for absolutely nothing, AAA appliance should have taken my model number over the phone when I had first called for service and tried providing it, had they done this they could have come to the same conclusion (parts not available) without scheduling a tech. Beware consumers, this companies schtick is making money off of "diagnostic inspections" which in my instance should've been avoided as it was completely unnecessary due to unavailability of parts. read more

Wish I could give negative stars on this one. Called to make appointment for broken dryer. Website states 24 hour service/same day service anywhere in Connecticut. I called and receptionist asked if I could find someone closer. I explained I tried and couldn't find anyone. She then made me an appointment for 10 days later. Fast forward to ten days later; no call no show. I called, the same receptionist answered and stated that my mrs had called and cancelled. Obviously that was a complete fabrication considering I don't have a mrs.. I am a single dad of 2 that has been going to laundry mat for the last 10 days. She then tells me the next earliest appointment would be in 10 days. If they don't want to service the entire state, they should take off "servicing the entire state of CT" rather than being dishonest! To lead people on, especially a family depending on their word, is wrong professionally and personally. Not a good way to conduct yourself. There is no service in the service industries anymore.. What a shame.. Shame on AAA APPLIANCE REPAIR!! read more

When scheduling the appointment, the company knew exactly what our issue was and the make and model of the washing machine. They came and charged us $95 to tell us that our problem was exactly what we knew it was but they did not come prepared with the part to fix it. Now we are told we have to wait a minimum of 3-5 business days before they can get the part and reschedule the service. This is a completely unacceptable way to do business. read more

They get two stars because they came out when scheduled and because they did call back when I questioned the bill. However I do think the price was extremely excessive and they had the nerve to note that there was a senior discount applied. My mother had a washer that needed repair. The gentleman came out but did not have the belt that was needed. It was a Kenmore and not very old so I'm not sure why he didn't have the appropriate parts. Just for that visit it was $95.66. They came back a week later with the belt that needed to be installed which took about five minutes. The additional charge was $169.10. Therefore the total cost to have a belt replaced was in excess of $250. I do not find this reasonable at all and the lady on the phone explained to me that the small belt was actually $50 . She did not provide any back up for that and I can't imagine a small piece of rubber costing that. Also she did explain that the price would've been the same had it been one visit but I find that incredibly hard to believe. read more

Before I start, let me tell you, I am generally not one to post reviews.. so please trust me when I say this company is only looking out for themselves. Never in my life have I ever been spoken to the way the "office manager" spoke to me just now on the phone. Especially by someone who, I would think, would specialize in customer service. The only reason even give this place two stars instead of one is because the technician that came out, Jamie, was fairly pleasant and helpful. That being said, there is a COMPLETE miscommunication between the technician, and who actually manages your repair, which is the office manager. She is completely unprofessional and rude. I can't believe this company has functioned this long with her as the customer facing individual. When Jamie came out to our home, we mentioned that because of backup or schedules to come out to do the diagnosis, we had already been without a washer for over a week. He told us he could overnight the part (mind you - we've now been without a washer now for 2 weeks). We said great; we would really appreciate that thanks. Come to find out when we call the office, he did NOT overnight, but apparently had the option to, and it would have cost us $40. I would have happily paid the $40, but I was not asked. I was lied to as a customer; and then afterwards, when trying to understand the miscommunication, was further yelled at and treated like an imbecile on the phone by the "office manager". I asked for an update on the shipping, and was told by the "office manager" that wasn't possible, which really does blow my mind a bit since I can't imagine not being able to call a manufacturer or check on shipping detail in this day in age. I would NEVER do business with this company again. I want to warn anyone that plans to do business with them, so I went on google to write a review, and what do you know.. there are already multiple comments mentioning the office manager's complete lack of respect. I wonder if my part will ever come in. Unfortunately I've already paid $85 for the "diagnosis", so now I am trapped with this company until the part happens to come in. read more

I am highly recommending AAA Appliance Repair. Having your washing machine break can throw anyone into a tizzy, including myself. I called AAA Appliance Repair at 10 am and Pat, the receptionist, said she could have a repairman to my house THAT same day if I could be on stand by. Within the hour, a repairman was at my door and diagnosed the problem. Later on, THAT same day, Pat called me with a quote of my needed repairs. I approved and she said if I could be on stand by the repairman could be out to my house THAT same day. By 4 pm, all was fixed!! Jamie T., the repairman, was professional, knowledgeable and cleaned up after. I will use this business for all repairs in the future. read more

I am very satisfied with service. Customer Service Rep Pat, was very efficient in taking my call. She was able to schedule and confirm a service call at 4pm the SAME day. Technician, Jaime arrived right on time. He was knowledgeable, professional, skilled and pleasant . He made the repair and offered some suggestions to help avoid the problem recurring in the future. The work was done for the quoted amount - which was reasonable and in line with the "going rate" for Appliance Repair Service calls. No surprises. It took a week before they could come out to see our appliance. We were very understanding because of Covid. The repairman came and it didn't seem like he knew what was wrong but charged us the initial diagnostic fee and said they needed to order a part. It would take 5-7 days and gave us a quote of over $300.00 to fix the machine. We called after 7 days because no one got in touch with us. The office manager said they got one part in and the other was still not in which we didn't even know 2 parts had to be ordered! We waited another week and still no contact with us and still no part, we called and said we would need to buy a new machine and the office manager said yes I understand. Nobody ever said sorry or tried to contact us. They got our diagnostic fee and that was it. We realized after all this that we had a warranty with our machine. Within 2 days the appliance repairman that was connected to our warranty came out, knew what the problem was and fixed it that morning! Obviously AAA Appliance did not know the problem and did not care and caused us 4 weeks without a machine and no one called to apologize!! They got the $92.00 for the diagnostic fee. That was it! Excellent service! Jamie one of their technicians came over and although I was somewhat aware of the potential issue with my dishwasher he was very informative and did a great job from start to finish. I can't speak for all their employees but I would recommend Jamie every time. Reasonable rates as well and quick service from phone call to at my door.
